I added this video again and it goes faster to the solution and has better MIC sound here: • No Legacy Boot Options...
This is one of the newest versions of HP 250 G7 Laptop computers.
The BIOS is updated to the newest version and it does not have Legacy boot options. The only thing that you can do here is to disable secure boot.
So I tried to create a Windows 10 bootable USB flash drive with Windows USB/DVD download tool and the laptop did not boot in windows installation mode regardless of what option or combination of options in BIOS I tried.
The solution is in the video.

You are a legend brother. There is no legacy support in newer HP Bios and Google search result and youtube in general is blind about it. All they have is those Bios which has legacy support. And without Legacy support, You cannot see USB to boot, and then there comes this method. Much appreciated

Bro I couldn't see my drive also but I simply went to boot menu it was in boot menu it won't show in bios and I did install it like it . .. even having legacy option disabled it worked

For even after disable Secure Boot and enabling Legacy Mode in BIOS, still i dont see the USB(its MicroSD card). Please someone help
I need windows installed as MBR, but the only way is to boot the usb installer in legacy mode. Is there no way to make it boot changing something on the BIOS?
Great video, very informative, thank you. The only thing I'd like to add is for newer HP laptops like mine there's also a known issue of the Intel Optane memory getting corrupted or due to a hardware issue which doesn't allow this bootable USB to recognize the hard drive. Therefore you have to include the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) drivers for the specific laptop within the boot USB so it will see the hard drive during the recovery process. The use of the Rufus utility seemed more effective than HP's own system recovery process so I appreciate you having shared this video.

@@vodka_parm4629 too late now but for next person, download the RST driver for the laptop/pc you have, unzip it and copy to your usb installer and then load driver when the imaging is at the part when it's looking for the drive to load Windows on to and then just search for the driver on the USB

It should be noted here that when trying to boot from a UEFI flash drive with a modern HP laptop with no legacy support, the flash drive needs to be created in the NTFS file system, not Fat32. If the flash drive is made in GPT but with the Fat32 file system, the HP laptop won't see it.

Hey Bojan the issue i am upgrading my SSD to 1tb the hp x360 convertible is not showing the new ssd and also it will not boot even if i have pre installed ssd with windows it only shows the OLD ssd in the OS BOOT MANAGER

Hello, i have a desktop pc which have both legacy and secure option. However, with legacy option, i cant install windows as it says my disk gpt. I tried bootable pen drive with gpt option, still doesnt work. Again, with secure option, the usb doesnt detect in boot menu. Any idea?

Hello, I can't manage to start loading with usb flash drive, I used rufus 3.5, I tried everything, is it up to usb flash drive because it says on my monitor your PC / Device needs to be repaired

@@Deefila right click on the USB drive, select format and chose the NTFS from the dropdown menu

my pc bios did not have any option like Secure boot, UEFI or Lagacy
what do i have to do now please help me my system is HP i3 3rd Gen. i want to install ssd drive to my computer but i can not install windows 10 on it because of GPT style format. that why i want to turn off the secure boot option and other setting.

Your laptop may only support 32bit OS. Download win10 32bit. make bootable usb with rufus but make sure to select partion scheme to GPT and target system to UEFI and file system to fat32. Then in your laptop just disable secure boot. Then try re-installing windows.hope this helps

Question. If one does this process to boot with a legacy flash drive, does being in legacy mode enable you to boot with an internal SSD? I tried the. process on an HP Envy and it did not work. I could not enter the boot with USB. It only allowed to boot with hard drive. This HP Envy was purchased in May 2021. Could it be a problem with the newer machines in general. I hope it is something i did incorrectly because I need this to work for my music recording software and clone backup system. Thx. Also, I noticed that your flash drive was in GPT mode. I am hoping that with this method that i will be able to boot with internal SSD in MBR mode. Also, does it matter if it has MBR fat32 or NTFS?
Oh too many questions that I need to try so I can answer. I still have this laptop, but cannot format it right now. But, on almost all of your questions I can answer with Yes, but do it properly, same as with USB flash drive. And yes, I think you should use NTFS
