So nice that you had a spare part! In our experience having a spare is a sure fire way that the main one never breaks 😂Absolutely wild reef and shark footage at the end! What a treat!
What can you say? Another fine vlog of laughter and creative fixes. Such great content. Love the tickling part. Its fun to see someone squirm from a good tickle.😂
We wondered how many stick around for the bonus clip at the end of episodes. Starting to sound like quite a few people do. 😊 thanks for hanging out again this week. Really appreciate it
As I understand it loads of nuts that are spair on your deck. Indi king grows them like we grow apples or potatoes…… 🤣😂. Those clutches are not cheep, definitely worth fixing.
Cheers! We are getting there. It’s funny that today we watch the subscribers number climb 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Soooo close we just wish we could share the adventure with everyone. 😊
1) never trust the people whose Job it is to forecast the weather. 2) French Polynesia have better maintained balls than the Caribbean morning balls. I am sure that will make them happy.😂 Enjoyed another entertaining video. Good way to pass the time, why I wait for the delivery truck.
They always say weather forecasting is one of the few jobs where you can be wrong most of the time and never get fired for it. 😂 as for the moorings, we saw some pretty sketchy moorings back in the Caribbean (one of the reasons we will always prefer to anchor). If us highlighting these ones inspires a little competitive spirit then I guess everyone wins 😜
Yeah, hope we are out of the woods now and can start having more of a laugh without dealing with fires onboard every two minutes. The hook does float actually, not going to tell you how we found that out 😜 it’s been a pretty cool addition. Plus you get to feel like a Jedi every time you unroll it!
Great question. We do have alternators but our instruments and autopilot are powered from our lithium house bank. Unfortunately our internationally regulated alternators are not able to charge lithium directly. We do have the ability to charge thru a dc to dc charge controller but the current is significantly limited.
Great question. So we do have alternators on each engine (120A each) however, our house batteries are lithium (LiFePO4) and the alternators are internally regulated and not able to directly charge the house batteries. The lithium batteries are too greedy and so the alternators could get damaged. We have some DC-DC chargers that bridge the gap between the two systems however these aren’t really up to the task. It’s an ongoing challenge for us and we are hoping to find a fix for it in the near future.
Great video like always! Boats are just all build in a way that for access to one bolt you need to disassemble half the boat to get to it. Don't you just love boats? Question how much power does Inav4U consume, or is that depending on what systems you attach to it?
I wonder if that’s part of the final exam for some boat builders. “You must make it near impossible to access this single bolt. You have 30 minutes, go” 😂 The iNav4U server consumes 7W so we are pretty comfortable leaving it on 24/7. The basic sensors around the boat are just the same sensors you would use for wind, gps, speed thru water etc so when we are sailing, they are powered up anyway.
We have a Hawaiian sling but the fish within the lagoons are pretty prone to ciguetera so we have tried to only fish when we are sailing between atols to avoid getting sick.
I mean one of our goals is to inspire people to take the leap but perhaps buy a paddling pool or some crash mats first if you are going to take that literally.
@@RedSeas oh I'm ready - but my finances and my family are not. So looking forward to more diving videos to satisfy the life in my mind (ps. I'm quite happy with the life I have - but there is always more to dream about)
I think you're random weather os duevto the extreme sea warming thats been widespread early this year ... Its generating rising storm heads out over the ocean in the Adlantic NOAA is watching Storm Beryl spinning in already over record hot seas.. and saying things like 🤷🏻 unprecidented. .. so you're not alone with wierd weather.
Totally. Last years El Niño and this years strange hurricane season are all quite concerning indicators. Hopefully things get back to normal soon enough (and everyone in Grenada make it thru to the other side ok)
In a parallel world wouldn’t it be great if slot water was good for your face? 🥺. I read swimming in the Dead Sea is good for your skin. They also say mud from the Swedish volcano springs is really good for you. So salt water on the skin should logically be good for the skin…but it’s not….who invented that, as they need a good talking too for making that the rule…😂
So nice that you had a spare part! In our experience having a spare is a sure fire way that the main one never breaks 😂Absolutely wild reef and shark footage at the end! What a treat!
I hear you! We have been building up spares for a while but it’s the expense spares that you will never need 😂

That boat hook reminds me of Starwars light saver…😂. Bri battling a round yellow a lion in readseas ‘star’wars…
That’s exactly what I feel every time we unroll it. Just wish it made the sound effects too.
Your laugh and sense of humor is contagious. The Tuamotus are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Edgar. Hope you had fun hanging out with us and had a chance to hit the share button (we are almost at 10k subscribers!!) 😊
You promised diving 👍🏼
And we always deliver.
Sealant is so good at getting everywhere you don't want it to
That’s exactly why Brioni always handles the sealant. Otherwise I would glue my hands together and none of it would actually be where we needed it 😂
As I understand it loads of nuts that are spair on your deck. Indi king grows them like we grow apples or potatoes…… 🤣😂. Those clutches are not cheep, definitely worth fixing.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised we had a spare. Think we picked it up off a wreck back in the Caribbean but worked like a charm
Thank you. You two are always so much fun. Your subs should be so much more.

Always fun hanging out with you two.
Cheers to chilling in the sun with us.
You guys are fun to watch! From Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Thanks for watching! We really appreciate it
I always look forward every Sunday to see your latest episode 👌
Awe thanks! Hope we did t disappoint. Really appreciate you following our little adventure and hopefully it was worthy of the share button. 😊
The sharks just came to see what is on the take away menu. BTW a weather forecaster is like a broken clock at least right twice a a day.
Good to know we aren’t all that appetising at least 😜 I tend to think of them like puppies. Excited to play but wimps if you face up to them.
Try explaining that to the Great Whites in False Bay here in South Africa where we are considered snacks not a meal.
Well I suppose, like dogs, there are a few breeds you only want to meet when they are in a good mood. 🦈
Hi guys, thank you once again for a crazy entertaining video I just love you guys you always make me laugh. Keep up the good work from Australia
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching (and hopefully sharing)
❤ you are real, I appreciate that!
…well we can’t act so this is what you get 😜 thanks for watching and sharing. (We are soooo close to 10k subscribers now!!)
Slap bracelet boat hook! I would be interested in a provisioning video. I love learning about the logistics behind the scenes.
The hook has been a great space saver. We’ve had a few people ask for a provisioning ep so perhaps we will work on how to share that.
103 here today in Texas bet that ocean would be a cool swim. Love you guys keep plugging and having fun
Man that sounds hot! Hang in there. We will keep sharing the adventure as long as people find it interesting to follow I guess.
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
That’s a new one…painting with a screwdriver…🤪

Your one sheered bolt head away from a week long headache
Great as always, having fun with the new boat hook thingy ha! A real space saver
Does it float?
Having fun now, that’s good to see

We just confirmed a 5% discount (REDSEAS) at IndieMarine.com (CA) and CruisingSolutions.com (USA)
Good episode.
Thanks. Next we will aim for great 😜
Dark Helmet: I see your boat hook is as large as mine.
It has a commanding presence
Hey guys, why are your batteries too low to drive the autopilot while you're motoring? Don't you have alternators?
Great question. We do have alternators but our instruments and autopilot are powered from our lithium house bank. Unfortunately our internationally regulated alternators are not able to charge lithium directly. We do have the ability to charge thru a dc to dc charge controller but the current is significantly limited.
Just a question…. Why you don’t have an alternator on your engines to charge your batteries too??
