I think the point of this video was to show that even though we might think he was underperforming, his numbers show he can and likely will make a case that he deserves more than we will likely want to pay. I say, if you can get a decent pick do that, otherwise let him play his contract out. Either he steps up for the money or you move on.
Our corners this season played good on a snap to snap basis between 1-3rd down, but I feel like whenever the opposing teams needed a big play they couldn’t stop it.
We ain't trading Geno. How many times do you need to see videos proving that he's good? Our coach endorsed him, but I guess you're a football genius who knows more than him.
@@KorithStoneheart I'd take what McDonald said about Geno with a grain of salt. No coach is going to downtalk their current starting QB. Nothing good would come of that, it could hurt trade value and cause unnecessary problems. I remember McDonald saying good things about Grubb during the season only to can him immediately after the season ended.
Agreed but Deion did tackle tho Woolen is damn soft! Softer than baked cookies out the oven he can walk if he don’t shape up next year but I would not extend
Really tough call. You'd like to acquire players for the next 3 years that are headed in an upward trajectory, not downward. This guy has also been benched by two different coaches - once for being lazy in the middle of a game and once for disciplinary reasons. Yeah, the benchings were only for a couple of drives but clearly there's a laziness problem. When you're the guy that coaches want to make an example out of to the other players, that's not a good place to be.
Bruh I don’t even understand riq . It feels like when I watch him he lacks effort or want but then I say pff and all these numbers and he’s consistently one of the best man to man corners. I truly believe he was a top 3 corner his rookie season and I just don’t even understand what I’m watching anymore. I don’t know if I’m an idiot when I’m watching him or if he actually is not good.
Lenoir for example has 85+ tackles a season plus the coverage numbers. Can't ignore contributions to run defense and it's an area Woolen has been bad in most of the time.
Riq looks amazing in some moment, and awful in others. which i think is normal for a young CB. i say give him 4 year 36 m (around 9m a year) with incentives and a 4th year player option. it would make sense for a player like woolen with "laziness/work ethic" issues. If he plays well, he earns like a top CB. if he stays the same then he'll get paid a league average. if he's not willing to take that deal (which would be more than generous) then absolutely stick with josh jobe and roll the dice in the draft.

Trade him, he occasionally make plays but also give up game winning plays. You’re right he does thinks he’s elite but I consider him to be below average. I say we trade him. He gives up too many big plays. I feel like he does way better in away games than in home games. Easy access to that herb in WA. Just sayin...

I say extend. He has great potential and since he hasn’t been playing amazing we may be able to get him for cheap
They should at least try at $9 million a year, but if he wants like $12-15 million it might be better to trade him.

He doesn't fit Mike MacDonalds scheme and is still a horrible tackler. Trade him now while he is worth a little.

Rig can be added to the Geno and DK trade package if necessary , for the Raiders 2025 #6 draft pick . Otherwise , no extension at this time .

Team friendly only. Love his talent potential but the heart is the dog
If you can get a 3rd Rd pick, you have to take it. Very good corners available in the third and Mike can pick the one that fits his style

Would the team get a compensatory pick if they let him go in free agency?
