- This video is a list of the worst mistakes you can imo do in Ragnarok X next Generation. It isn't only aimed for Beginners but for Veterans too.

I'm Jadezz and I've played Classic 'Ragnarok Online' when I was around 11 or 12. Since then I fell in love with Ragnarok. When the classic ro server I played on I played a lot of different mmo's but always looked for a game like ro. A few years ago when 'Ragnarok Online M - Eternal love' launched (got the info by chance on launch day) I fell in love with the game again, but cause of the bad support and the devs supporting cheaters (selling gm gear to players, 'goblin forest event', etc) I quit. Didn't have fun with any other mmos again I tried. So I followed at the time Ragnarok Origin in hopes there will be an english release. When I got the info last year that Ragnarok X - Next Generation will release in SEA I started to follow it. Since then I played Ragnarok X - next Generation since one of the first CBT's and actively since the taiwanese release. I've mainly played the High-Priest but played other classes too.

Currently working on getting a wand + shield on the same level as my book. So I can make a comparison video of both. If I'm lucky I'll be done in a few days.

@@crimsonfaithlive it depends on your playstyle. Book is best in most cases. You can play FS, dps and tank or FS - dps hybrid with books. Shield + wand is only interesting for pure dps build (if you don't care that much for support / heal).
nice im still waiting i see a lot of high lvl 80+ using shield + staff so big difference
What do you thing about ward+shield wear the Tank Eq?
@@yokojungcarol9576 imo that's a bad idea. Shield build will need haste accessories and or haste enchants, while book builds get enough haste from their books so they can go with vit / int accessories + enchants.

You forgot, shield increase M.Damage too for Exorcist priest than a book.
For me Rod + Shield = DPS Priest.
Book = For FS type.
Another mistake is changing eq set for no reason. Sometimes lvl 40 set is better than level 60 set
9. About CD
is good, but u forgot to mention that not all class/build is about haste & skillspam. Like Tank, Buff, or Burst build, or else

lol I actually just did that today. It's good that I found this vid today. I won't have to waste time on that character. I am shocked though that my crappy pc is able to run this game without problems unlike other mobile games like MU Archangel etc.

all the other tips are helpful but I totally disagree with the priest being much better with book, as u said on other tip you must choose as fast as you could which type of weapon best suited. Haste will not be a problem on later game. Still did a goodjob for other tips.
1. If you go Priest, people tend to need you to go FS in team content
2. you forgot about SHADOW EQUIPMENT. Book amplify FS greatly, while Shield amplify DPS, which, in group content, Priest are NOT the DPS.
Though I did #1 - #9 mistakes, at least I didn't do the last mistake (#10).. hihihi.. thanks for sharing the info..
TL;DW
1. Dnt make slave fs
2. Dnt make alt char, same acct
3. Dnt be like kirito (solo the game)
4. Focus on only 1 weapon type
5. Not donating on guild reqs
6. Noy strengthening gear
7. Focus on gear stats not gear level (25, 50 etc)
8. Not doing life skills
9. Wrong skill level (abt variable vast time and haste)

personally cannot play without an alt as I get bored with playing the same class (in classic ro, i have a char for all classes except thief)
On CBT i manage to get far with solo priest but only issue is...during mvp on field its almost impossible to get any reward :(

2 Is wrong, having an alt helps you use their OB for a higher drop chance when both your characters are in the same party. Only downside is it's 50/50 but it's still something.
What's the point when card drop rate doesn't change? According to the devs, it's fixed at 0.1% chance no matter the level gap or when you're using odin's blessing.
My biggest mistake is not taking seriously the tutorials. I didn’t use life skill until i reach lvl40+.
No need for a slave priest, cause I'm a priest myself. Loool
For me, I highly recommend doing two loadouts for priest. One is an exorcist type, and the other one is an FS type. Easier to grind with sanc, holy light, signum and turn undead. They share almost the same equips.

For most player the end gear is Valkyrie armor, but the question is which route is better? using blue or white gear before switching to Valk armor.. blue armor progress depends on daily instance and crystal meanwhile white armor (if you decide to tier up) depends on zeny, smelting level and maybe crystal. I just cant decide between the two
If you want to go with the valkyrie set I would just wear white gear and try to get the valk set asap (buying valk coins on the exchange). You can't transfer refines from white to purple so every refine would be for naught.
I create Alt Account because I like to play alot of the classes. I main a Crusader and Priest, one in my PC another in my phone.

How about wizard? Better go with 2 handed Staff or Staff + Shield??
Especially for PVP or KVM in mid-end game??
From what I've heard for PvP a staff + shield build should be better but haven't played Wiz enough to be 100% sure.

I agree with slave priest for those multi player content like instances and ET but man imagine if you're an F2P assasssin with low damage. It's hard to grind and nobody wants you in their party so please feel free to create a slave priest even just for gridning.

Is zeny really not a problem here? I was going to make a low level merchant just to grind some zeny, I'm planning to use it to buy fishing baits, is it a good idea?
And I'm going to be a solo Priest, how far can I go? I don't mind being slow in killing enemies though..
Based on my experience on the taiwan server, my hunter can't survive without my priest, but my priest can survive without my hunter.. so that's why I'm going to go solo Priest..

Yes the higher your level the easier it is to get zeny. I'm currently at a point that I get more zeny than I can use. As a priest I never had zeny problems (only as a Hunter if I grinded with arrows). It isn't hard to grind as a solo priest and you can reach max level as easy as most other classes too.

Lvl 10 skill more damage but required more MP and Longer cooldown
Have you ever seen any sinx with high flee? So sad this one stat is ignored in this ro. Grinding solo early eats a lot of hp pots for assassins if they cant kill fast.
No haven't seen any and flee is as far as I've heard kinda bad in rox.
I think it's because crit types are dominant over flee types. Later on pvp or gvg flee types, well, you know what will happend.
how to use resurrection skill?, cuz sometimes my resu skill not revive my death party member.
when you're fighting undeads it's used to attack them so you have to manually focus your dead party member and use resurrection.
Hey Jadez, Is it okay to put final Mpen cards or Magic damage bonus cards on book type priests to increase damage when grinding? Really love the book but I'm a bit unimpressed with the damage. Any suggestions, or alternative solutions?

Yes final dmg and penetration can help. No you don't need penetration for penetration%. And yes those cards are good too.

definitely a 2 handed weapon for wizard, because it gives haste and haste is a must for a wizard. i don't know about knight thou.

Both are good for pve. I would go with BS. Thanks to their buffs they're needed for parties.
hi! this is my first time playing priest so I made a new character. i picked the exorcist one (1h and shield) and not the 3rd one, is that ok? i read somewhere that I can make 2 load outs. or just buy a book later and equip that instead of 1h&shield. After watching your vid, I'm now unsure if should've picked Praise :(
Book would be better for FS (full support). Shield for dps. Imo it's not a good idea to switch to a different weapon type as you have to start from 0 again.

You can donate items to your guild and get coins for that which you can use to upgrade your stats. So it's quite important but many people ignore it.
How about upgrading white when later on planning to build blue weapon once i gather mats? E.g. I have white gear now upgraded to level 80. Should I still switch to blue weapon or just upgrade to max?

Yes, I meant alts on the same account. Sure an alt (on a 2nd account) merchant can help with white gear upgrades, but personally it would be too much work for me to make an additional char just save 20-40 stamina per upgrade and I would invest the time in other stuff like MVPing.

@@francisco6517 to upgrade your white gear you always need 2 kind of materials. 1 needs mats only obtainable on the exchange (or by farming them yourself) the other one needs to be crafted. Everyone can craft these items but you can craft them as a merchant and sell them to yourself via vending. You usually need 2-4 of those items to upgrade a white equipment. But there are a few problems.
1. You need to level a merchant ofc
2. you need to level their crafting skills cause those upgrade items need a high crafting skill. So that means you need to do your daily mission boards + Odins Blessing grinding to get Stamina and then use the stamina to level your crafting skill.
3. You only save around 20-40 stamina per tier upgrade. Considering that you usually don't tier upgrade that often it's imo not worth to invest that much just to save a few stamina points.
Its like playing 2 characters. Better to just buy from the pure Bs in prontera.

Is it worth to make a slave dmage dealer for priest?
Imo no. It's not that hard to farm with a priest solo and if you want to grind with a party you can just make a party and set 'auto accept'. Usually it doesn't take long to get a full party.
Shield is way better than book especially in pvp. You need high hp or if you already have high vit enchant, you can use hp regen shield which is very helpful because you cant just stand and heal yourself in kvm/gvg. If its pve then you can just use matk shield + gtb accessories
in OBT later you will use type 1H + Shield or 2 Book ?? ,,Please reply

you can transfer everything to different colors besides refinement (so enchants + enhancement) as long as they're the same type of equipment.

yes as long as you don't neglect your armor you can tank with a 2H sword build too. Personally I think for a pure tank a shield build (for more HP) or a Spear build (for less cooldown on skills like counter) would still be better. But skills like endure + provoke have a fixed cooldown so as long as you can take enough damage you can tank with 2H swords too.
For a pure tank knight I personally think a spear type would work best. Vit Accessories + enough haste from your spear to reduce your cooldown. But as I haven't played Knight / LK since the TW OBT these are just assumptions and I had Knight tanks with all kind of weapons in my party so far.

@@temple3235 yes for grinding you'll most likely have a disadvantage compared to dps classes. I think it would be a good option to get 3 white dps accessories to around +4 mid game for grinding. That way you can transfer your enhancement from your tank accessories to your dps ones and switch your build to a dps build, before you start grinding.

Depends on your overall stats. Blue is stronger with high enchants.

For FS I would go with book and go with either matk + haste gear or int + vit gear.

@@chokzmag-usara3085 I would go with the attack skills + blessing for easier lvling and switch to FS when you become priest. But if you really just want FS from the start then blessing, agi, and depending on your preference heal, light blessing or kyrie.

Only int. Dex isn't that good to reduce your cooldown. Instead you should go with haste. Books give a lot haste and the golden thief bug accessories too.

1H is better for your wind + water skills endgame while 2H for your fire + earth skills. Most people I see use LOV + SG so imo 1H should be better.

I only found this today I'm totally a newbie and I chose the 2h staff and today I just spent my 100k+ crystals for lvl 60 upgrade in weapon, only to find out that 1h and a shield is better😭 Its really hard for me as F2P to start again with weapon, Any advice?

Haven't played BS enough to know what's best, but most people in TW recommend 1H + shield for BS for both mvp and pvp.

Yes at least to unlock the glory pass. But imo it's not worth to buy glory pass lvl as a f2p besides if you really want a certain high lvl reward.
