I feel like you need to do a main channel video about the body mind disconnect after pregnancy and finding a comfortable style again. It’s something most mothers go through and it’s always super helpful to see someone else going through the same thing. Maybe a video where you enlist help from a stylist to find your comfy style and a postpartum expert or compile tips from other mums on how to feel good about your body PP. We completely lose ourselves, give up our entire bodies to carry and birth our beautiful children and it would be nice to have a video to reference in those really hard days ❤
I don’t think I’m being dramatic when I say your openness about your struggles with your body has most definitely saved lives. Speaking for myself, I have you to thank for making me feel more confident in my body but also accepting that I’m still going to have bad days. So thank you for having these conversations and I hope you know how incredible you are.
Two vlogs in a week? You spoil us lol We love you and you are absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing your pregnancy both times and being so real. You’ve helped me open up about my own traumas surrounding birth and pregnancy and start my own healing process. ❤
My first time ever commenting on a TH-cam video... u had me in tears when you said 'I'll try not to cry this time when I'm getting dressed '! I have the same motherhood set up as you do, 2 girls with 2 years apart, my oldest at 3 and my youngest at 10 months... Boy has it been a roller coster ride for my body and my self immage. I still cry to this day about certain things and situations that inevitably put a lot of strain and stress on my appearance but seeing that I'm not alone in this it's really a breath of fresh air. Thank you very much
Thank you for being open and honest about your body post-partum. I am just a few weeks ahead of you postpartum. I also am struggling more than I have with my previous pregnancies. Your opening up makes me feel less alone, but also validates that it can be normal to feel this way. I love that you describe it as being disconnect as it triggered me to think to myself “how can I reconnect with my body?” What I use to do in my 20s doesn’t work the same now in my 30s and I really need to listen to my body verses just following a routine. As a mom of 5, my routine and children’s needs have changed since my 20s and I need to tune into my mindfulness of how to adjust my lifestyle to reconnect.
Sierra, I’m a decade older than you and still find you very relatable. I remember feeling so sad about by body changes after I had my baby. I remember the panic I felt when she had a 2 day weight check and I didn’t have anything to wear to the appointmen. I was in the military and the pressure to loose the weight and PT test was strong. Over time I look back and I was a beautiful healthy new mom. I’m so glad you are spreading the message of self love. Just remember Hollister picked you for that denium campaign. Also, holy crap!!!!! SKIMS girl!!!! I love the skims products and the fits everybody is a great line. Also, you can wear your maternity clothes as long as you want. It just getting your moneys worth. You are an amazing beautiful mother, spouse, influencer, daughter, and so many more things.
Thank you, Sierra. Your vulnerability is so inspirational, and so needed! My body changed so much from PCOS and endometriosis, so slowly but surely feeling more at home in my body has been my goal. I used to dream of hiding from my body, I’m learning to have patience and be kind to my body. Learning our bodies is so hard!
So excited to see a video on a Monday! I hope you had enough maternity leave and feel ready to get back to full time work. Love your videos, they always make me smile.
Not sure if you’ll read this Sierra but you inspire me every day. I discovered your channel during COVID when I wasn’t feeling the best about my body but you’ve taught me so much about body positivity and loving your body and all the wonderful things it enables you to do and experience. You’re so beautiful, these feelings are normal, and you’re doing amazing!
Girl, I so feel you about the feelings on postpartum body. I am 13 months pp and still getting used to my body. Our entire being changes after birth and it is a huge adjustment.
I 100% relate to you on struggling with postpartum body confidence. It feels like it’s a never ending cycle of new seasons once you’ve finally felt “okay” with your new body there is a new change. For me, I was finally feeling confident in my skin. I was the healthiest and fittest I had ever been. I felt great about starting my family. Then adjusting every month my body changed during pregnancy. Then postpartum and breastfeeding for a year. I had 2 months of wearing whatever I wanted then I was pregnant with my second. Adjusted to that pregnancy body. And now I’m back with my postpartum and breastfeeding body. I’ve gained weight this time around. I feel like nothing makes me feel comfortable or confident. This is hard
Glad you got some special time with Stephen! Hang in there with your body journey! You are amazing in so many ways, and you will find your way back to your body confidence!
I still am not happy with my postpartum body 13 months postpartum! you are allowed to be unhappy or in love in your skin and body. You are allowed to re find yourself whether it’s clothing, reading, cooking, walking etc. we are allowed to want to loose weight, not loose weight. Too want to move our body for fun or workout to change our bodies. Postpartum is a season and your body carried/birthed little Alice and now nourishing her! It’s amazing for doing it’s job! Love you Sierra 🩷
I remember finding your channel through the video about wearing flattering clothes so many years ago. I feel like you have really been such a good inspiration for me because we experienced a lot of similar experiences in similar timeframes. I had my son just a few months before you had Grace, and you did a lot to help me with being proud of my body in that stage. I know it’s a journey and not a straight line up, but I just wanted to spread some of that love back to you ❤
I think you should look into wearing smocked dresses to help you feel more cute and confident postpartum. They are nursing friendly, and it’s a dress so super easy to put on and not think about bottoms. Also maybe wearing shape wear? I know that helped me a lot. Sending love!!!
Dressing postpartum, while pregnant etc is absolutely so difficult. I loved the outfit you decided on, could have worn something like it myself. 👌 Hoping you'll feel more confident, comfortable and like yourself!
This is super refreshing with getting dressed postpartum and feeling confident, my current struggle! Love the outfit! Thank you for this, so relatable.💕
Wow, it must b so hard to re-establish a healthy exercise routine after pregnancy. Love that white shirt! You're an amazing source of inspiration to everyone, Sierra. Amazing sharing!
At the gym i think a personal trainer would be really beneficial like you used to use! I struggled attending the gym but when i had a personal trainer twice a week it really brought me into a routine and held me accountable. i am still using it 8 months later, too! I really think it would be helpful because it worked so well for me! Also we set our own pace so it wasn’t stressful but fun!❤️❤️
What if, on a day when you’re not going out and about a bunch, you let Grace pick your outfit? And if she picks things that aren’t convenient for breastfeeding, it doesn’t matter thaaaaat much because you’ll be at home! Kids style with such joyful abandon, and maybe you’ll feel good because it’s meaningful, and perhaps she’ll choose something that will inspire you for the future!
Thank you for showing this aspect of life. It is something that is a very real struggle in my own personal life postpartum and am going throughout navigating finding a style I enjoy that makes me feel good about myself and is functional for my life. Also I agree homemade lemonade is the best ❤️
Hey Sierra! I started using Expecting and Empowered postpartum workouts and now recommended them to all pp moms I know! They have a specific set for c sections that I use and love
I like your hair cut since I last watched. It really makes your eyes pop. I also love hearing how you speak to grace, what a beautiful mom you are. You said you weren’t feeling the best at the beginning of your vlog so I wanted to make sure to comment on the beauty I saw in this video 🫶🏻
Sierra I highly recommend using a faja or binder to help your body recover even faster. My mom put me in one like right after delivering my baby (of course this is different for c-sections) and that helped m sooo much. It also helps you feel more stable after having your organs moved all over the place lol
7:29 I would highly highly recommend you watch swoop’s documentary on the Kardashian especially given the photo you recreated. Learning about the historic reference was a stomach churner. That’s all I’ll say.
Well done getting back on the exercise thing, will make you feel better and thank you for being so open about body image; shows other people it's totally normal (fyi my baby is 20 and still live in leggings and a loose tee like 80% of the time lol)
Thank you for sharing your struggles in real time. It takes a lot of courage, so please know it's so helpful to see you process it, because I'm processing my own too and it feels like we're doing it together. We got this

Im sorry and what is that very obvious reason? Amazing to say something so hurtful while saying nothing at all. May I just say: i know why you left this comment.
