  • A Florida man accused of murdering his wife inside their wealthy Orlando home heads to trial. David Tronnes told first responders he found his wife, Shanti Cooper-Tronnes, dead in a half-full bathtub back in April 2018 - but when detectives started investigating, they found the bathtub and her body completely dry. Tronnes was arrested four months after his wife’s death for first-degree murder.

    I have to say, just finishing the Tim Ferriter trial that was in Florida as well is like night and day as far as this trial! Judge Howard Coates was the judge in that trial and he has to be one of the best judges! He was ON TOP of making sure there were no sound issues. He stayed on top of the attorneys, making sure if they stepped away from the podium, they had hand held mics….it was wonderful!! He didn’t let either side get away with anything and believe me, that was necessary as far as the defense was concerned! They were absolutely sneaky and rude at moments!
    This judge is not impressing me at all, so far! I’m missing Judge Coates right now!! 🙄

      @Indiartworks 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      As these witnesses go on, it's the same with every single one...I cannot for the life of me see a motive here
      The state opened with a huge theory that their marriage was over and it was all over this zombie home makeover show, but if anything all the witnesses this far have not backed up that theory at all. Everything has either been neutral or about how great both the defendant and the marriage was and about how many snappiness in their relationship was on the part of both of them equally.
      Just to make sense of this....he really had almost nothing to gain by murdering her either. What exactly was he supposed to gain by doing this? Her child perhaps, and nothing else?!?! It just seems like a really odd case.
      I'm not saying he's innocent, but even her friend and coworker said that while she was in the house, he would be spending his time with the dogs and cleaning the pool and the state made a huge deal about that being his alibi (as in, a made up one,) but it sounds like that is exactly what he did every day?!?!

The alabi that he offered doesnt seem odd for him (the friend and coworker said that cleaning the pool and spending time with the dogs is what he did all the time) , the zombie home makeover producer said that both of them were for the show being done, so there goes the states motive. What did he have to gain by murdering her? The possible consequence of beinf left as her sons only parent?!?! (Not ever a motive for murder)!
