The older figure still looks good, despite the pale skin tone and skinnier legs. However, the new Wonder Woman is a huge improvement. The skin tone looks natural. The legs have musculature. While the head sculpt was pretty good on the older figure, the portrait does a better job of resembling Gal Gadot on the newer one. This is a great looking Wonder Woman for sure. Thanks, Spot! I appreciate the hard work! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!
When I found out you could heat the hair and put the tiara in was all in. Never got the original because of the playdoh legs, so this is a vast improvement.
"You may have to then escort them out of your collection room." Got me, ngl. Especially as someone who frequently creates "non-canon" figure displays. 😂
Not everyone likes Shazam Fury of the Gods, But I really liked it because I do feel like Zachary Levi won't come back to play the character again but Wonder Woman figure is cool because the Gal Gadot likeness is better, I don't have her so I will eventually, Overall, Great review The Review Spot.
Her head seems to turn pretty well with a good range of head motion despite all of her long hair sculpt being a little in the way. She is a much nicer looking figure than the original one and they made many great improvements on her except for that problem with her tiara but that's an easy fix.👍
Sucks the tiara isn’t removable/wearable. Ppl told me they cut it & glued it & other said they parted the hair. One person somehow made it look sleek. Otherwise it looks too bulky on her head. Idk how he did that. Sand it down?
I mean I was able to peel the hair enough away from the sides of her head to get the tiara flushed against her head without having to shorten the sides of the tiara, its possible without ruining the tiara
I will get just comic book action figures...except for this one. Since it´s going to be a while till I can afford a Sideshow Gal Gadot Wonder Woman statue I wanted an action figure. And I kicked myself for not getting the 1984 figure...although I did not love the brown hair. So glad for this one! I just bought it (Pre-Ordered it) yesterdar because I did not want to miss out this time around.
You can put the tiara on without having to glue it or cut it and it stays in place I just moved the hair from the sides gently and slowly and slid it in
looks like sa old DC Direct Kingdom come Alex Ross Wonder Woman coz of that jaw - its good that the tiara can be inserted - but needs paint on the leg armor- great review as always
It's such a shame that she won't be WW any longer. She did a great job! I like the figure, though. I may just keep her tiara in a storage bag. They should have just made it part of her headsculpt.
Which wonder woman is the figure in the beginning being compared to from? I only remember the zSJL version from McFarlane, was there another besides WW84?
Awesome Review Bro👍❤⭐💙, I can already see figure customizer using this new Wonder Woman head to make custom figures. For me I'm curious whether can her head fit onto the McFarlane Design Gold Label Exclusive Wonder Woman figure?🤔
The figures is WAY WAY Better Also tou CAN out the tiara on without gluing it ir cutting ✂️ it and it says in place Just peel back slowly abd gently the haur in the sides abd slide the tuara
If the goal is to make the figure to look like the movie, the 1st one is better with face, paint apps, and legs ( gal gadot does not have muscular legs) .. The new one has better color hair, but the face is too wide to look like gal gadot.
both of these WW figures look pretty rough, esp their face sculpts which look rather unrealistic. Mcfarlane seems to have problems whenever it comes to modelling their figures on the likeness of real world actors.

Wait, you can heat the hair? Everyone else either cuts the tiara or dremels the end of it
@@nathanielpena7627 Yes, just heat and peel back the hair a bit
@@privateprivate31337 Can you push the tiara in all the way?
@@nathanielpena7627 Yes, but it depends on how glued down the hair is. So each figure is different since this is more of a hack than a feature

Always a treat getting your reviews from figures I need! I need this! Lol 😂
I got this off Amazon because I wanted a Wonder Woman figure. Glad I passed on the 1984 movie one. This looks so much better IMO
Agreed. Too bad the face looks so bad on the golden one

GREAT DCEU WONDER WOMAN FIGURE REVIEW SPOT 👍🌎👍😇
Both figures are nice!! Awesome face sculpts

So frustrating the new one doesn’t have a tiara. Makes me feel like they knew exactly what they were doing, being almost manipulative/spiteful
It does come with a tiara. It’s a accessory to do the tiara throw. It’d be nice to have a separate head sculpt with the tiara on.

@@Christian_Ada1does it mess up the face paint when you pulled the hair for the tiara?
Great review 💪😎 Looks really good.
As someone who has only ever collected WW since DC Direct made the first ever figure, I'm glad I FINALLY have a wonder woman with a non attached Tiara
looks like sa old DC Direct Kingdom come Alex Ross Wonder Woman coz of that jaw - its good that the tiara can be inserted - but needs paint on the leg armor- great review as always
This is a nice improvement over the previous WW figure.
I'm sold

Hey J c, it was compared to the '84 Wonder Woman, hope that helps
@@TheReviewSpot thanks, I thought 84 only came out with the golden armor version😬
Great review! I'm cool with my Wonder Woman figure and don't really see a need to get a slightly different fig.
thanks spot for the video
you're very welcome elliott!

yeah thats what I ended up doing in the final looks of the figure I just pulled the hair away from the head enough to tuck the tiara in the gaps
@@TheReviewSpotawesome!!!
was the diaphragm gappage an issue with the original release?
I don't believe so no

She did have a more leaner muscular legs like the figure shows, I just went through some of the pictures that capture her muscular look.

The hands really hold this figure back. They're terrible looking and those old ball joints. Fist hands would've been nice.
😢easy to crash the paint off the face
isn't this supposed to be the body double of Gal Gadot?
it really should be shouldnt it
Ww84 > Ww Shazam
Damn I hate those hot dog legs
both of these WW figures look pretty rough, esp their face sculpts which look rather unrealistic.

This entire statement is nonsense.
McFarlane should definitely start a 1/4 scale line
