I cannot tell you how much I want to go to Singapore! The food, the sights, the cleanliness, the strictness are all things which appeal to me! I want some Char Kway Teow ... now!

Me too i want Char Kway Teow now too ooooh sighhhhhh ... but we're just back in Bali from bangkok! We had the most amazing time w street food there!
Have followed and enjoyed your channel for the practical financial advice + your perspective in life, but this “coming home” vlog is simply awesome, u went to many of my fav makan haunts! Good work👍🏻
Haha food is a wonderfully unifying factor that ties all us Singaporeans together. I remember how when I lived in Dubai a bunch of us Singaporeans wd just get together most weekends just to drive around n look for home like makan 😍🤗 it’s in our blood 🤗

when I watch your video about singapore it reminded me the time i used to live and work in Singapore I am vietnamese and now i am american and vietnamese now but the life in America is not fun as in Singapore. I always had a so good life when i was a student and a worker in Singapore . I have lived in Singapore for 6 years that made me feel like my second home but there are a lot of things i have not discovered . thanks for your video and wishes you all the best
haha sometimes i watch my own videos too when i'm missing home. It's nice to see what we captured on camera some time back. Too many memories slip away too easily. I'm glad we were able to bring a bit of SG back to you in the US!
Hi Jean welcome back. Wow it is so nice to see the lively side of you haha. Your vid had so much energy and vibes. Wow thanks for the food tour. Really yummy food that you ate with Vitaly - they are my faves too.
Haha yeah I was super happy to be back in SG n vloggin our enjoyment, it’s less camera front than usual glad u liked it! Lol there was some pork trotter rice we didn’t cover but was soooo good. N bedok chwee kueh!
Singapore is such a beautiful country with beautiful people. Also Singapore has beautiful and intelligent women like you Jean sweetheart. Singapore has some nice malls and great restaurants. Every single video you make always has great editing. Jean it makes me happy when I see you happy, because I care about you as a loyal subscriber. Thank you Jean for always replying to my comments, and I respect you a lot.
hey Dom! Hope you're having a nice week! This SG trip was actually some months back we were just really laggy in editing and posting it but we've just returned to Bali from Bangkok and we vlogged our amazing street food experiences that'll be coming out this weekend hopefully lol and i think you'll really enjoy that one! whee!
i just saw at this bugis market and found the name intriguing we also never tried! too many things to stuff into our hungry maws we went for snacks instead haha!
Ok, I think it's time for me to visit SG again just to eat... I bursted out laughing when you called Vitaly 'this fat guy' 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He's not fat! He's just got a comfortably happy relationship body haha.
lol we just came back to Bali after about a week of complete and utter indulgence in Bangkok street food! He's definitely a chubby hubby now!!! He's put himself on intermittent fasting to try to lose some of it heehee! He's my fat panda and i luv it hoho!
Ahhh my friend from Malaysia go stay Singapore so long also can't find proper Char Koay Teow. 😅 BUT nmind if ever you come to Malaysia, I can bring you to some CKT hunt.
Ahaa it’s hard but the hill street stall in Bedok is the closest bet I’ve ever found in recent years u can ask ur friend to try. But it’s a 1.5 hour wait ah - caveat first 😅😅😅
Hi glad to see you guys eating non stop in Spore, especially char keoy teow, mini char siew pau, and more 😂. Jean I kinda like you say, hmm taste so good...makes me feel hungry now 😅😅😅
Haha glad u enjoy the food coverage! Really hope u hv a chance to try the Tanjong Rhu mini pau one day the skin is so thin and delicate and the char siew filling is addictive! 👍🏼✌🏼
I do love Hk and your Dai Pai Dongs!!!! Food so yum!!! Dim sum is also a big fav for me n V! We were just in Chinatown Bangkok and we really ate until we burst! Vlog shd be out this saturday don’t miss cos it really reminded us both a lot about Hk vibes!! But it is admittedly quite a bit cheaper to visit than HK hehe ur real estate so ex ya
Wow... I haven't been to Sim Lim or Bugis in probably 30 years... Love the tau huey and tanjong rhu mini paus though (i can eat 6 at one go) Blk 85! one of my fav supper place, satay, bak chor mee (both stalls) porridge, Ah balling, hokkien mee, bbq chicken wings, all excellent! This 1 litre cup is the rage now in Singapore. Take care Kampung girl! (i'm a true blue kampung boy too! Maybe not boy anymore )
Haha always boy at heart lah. Anyway I’m calling myself girl at 40 also some ppl wanna throw eggs liao 🤭🤭🤭 ya Blk 85 is champion got so much good n oldie type stuff I love! The Ah balling is really a score - it’s been many years for me. But Wah $4.20 for one cup of sugar cane is like staggering haha
@@JeanVoronkova Yes girl! I'll never throw eggs at you! (2.36am now, I'm more alert... You 28 niaaaaa.... baaaaby) Yes, prices has gone up so much nowadays better to become "bah" already if you know what I mean. How much? Just pay. Think already cannot enjoy eating.

Hey! What would you recommend for a surfing single mum with two teenagers. I’m looking for another surf island in Indonesia super Low key! Not Nusa Lembongan… for a longer time to travel or live.. 😊
One shouldn’t be able to take the Singaporean out of us if we’re worth our salt. And yes, Hillstreet char kway teow is the second best there is. I’m still looking for the best one
We're one of a kind out there. Still it blows my mind tho how tiny and unknown we are in the bigger wider world out there. Gawd now i'm sitting in Bali missing Hillstreet CKT haha
Enjoy it while you can, guys. You can't eat like that when you get to my age... 🤣 ...Awesome food porn there, but if you guys were in MBS, you should've given us a tour of the Arts & Science Museum. I want to get down there myself, but I need to find lodging that I won't have to sell a kidney to pay for... 😏 ...You seemed ebullient to be home Jean, but if you're like me the familiarity wears off within a couple of weeks, and I can't wait to get out again...Keep having fun!... 🙂
