I'm trying my hand at mining Qubic at the moment! Just started last night! Any other recommendations? The hashrate on Zephyr is too high right now currently. The yield is quite low.

@TreyHiers94 never get A series mobos for mining. They're barebones and ment for the more entry level cpus. You can find b650s for about $100 USD with an 8pin cpu connector
@TreyHiers94 the 7950x3d can not be manually overclocked. You have to use curve optimization

You have now inspired me to finally go put a test station next to my miners, and not have it in the other room.
Maybe it's different at these power levels, or on these newer cpus, but on zen 2 I found that setting a fixed vcore (0.86V) and multiplier (28) allowed for substantially higher efficiency on randomx.

I get even further to -45. But it has another trick. Also memory overclocking affects a lot on randomx algo.

Good video, keep them coming. Would or have you ever come across this kind of error - cannot flash modified new bios because of this error message - could not communicate with the HECI. Bios protection changed to Unlocked in bios. tnx

Do you have any tweaks for the AMD SP3 cpus? Im setting up a EPYC 7551 server to use for mining and figured i would ask for some tips.
7551 isn't very good for mining it lacks the L3 cache like intel cpus

I have a 7900x3d with msi b650 mortar mobo. I cannot find eco mode but set up power to 65watts. On 45 watts limit too much. Pbo curve cannot past more than -15 not the best chip i have i guess.

@@RabidMining it didn’t end up working out so great for me. I’m on MSI mobos and it’s a bit harder to get eco mode going I think. My 7950x started out at 300W, plus I had a 4060 going in it and that automatically triggered the internal GPU in hive for another 50W.
I ended up moving the 4060 to another rig and was able to just isolate the CPU at 47.00 ratio / 1.0V @ 165W and 20.9 kh. I think that’s the best I can do… it’s stable
My R9 7950X3D, X670E Steellegend updated bios, 32Gb DDR5 6400 C32, using ECO mode -20 Curve all cores , hits only 120it/s EPOCH 102, dont know why...

Probably my own fault if it’s the MB. Built my first cpu rig watching your vids and that was one of the cheapest mb I came across 🤷♂️
I am unable to use -20 all cores .. due to bsod issues . do I have to enable any other other than PBO ?

I doing two identical once based on "Ryzen 9 7950x" and "Gigabyte B650M D3HP AX" but I get some strange power readings, Both are mining 124 it/s, but one is pulling 50 watts at the wall and the other 120 watts. I get the same it/s registered at the pool. But how can one just pull 50 watts? Temp is 74 and 79. Well, they are up and mining, thank you!

Mine -40 got stuck
But -20 it post booted fine
And in my case I even have TURBO, Extreme and also ULTRA EXTREME 😇😀
