Its always funny how people make these post fx guides without taking into consideration the fact that everyones monitor have different srgb coverage/peak brightness and contrast ratios
Bro every monitor is different and everybody has diff taste. These postfx vids are irrelevant. Also saturation makes your game look yellow. Bump saturation in your gpu and then match whatever you set that to in postfx but in the negative. This makes inventory pop without making your game look yellow.
Definetly a good base line to start with. Boost is also a good color grading to mess around with. Gives that Montreal effect without being as red/purple.
I keep mine simple. Bump up the saturation to 30 as I have found that it bumps up color visibility more for dark areas than colorfullness. Everything else is default except for luma sharpen at 30-50. Chillwave at 30. Couple this with zowie's black equalizer at max and a bit of color vibrance to counter the washed out colors some more and I can essentially see anything, even on night maps except for Factory. Factory uses a different method of darkness and light distribution that works more like nighttime on say Rust for example, where the dark can't be boosted. Something like a void. Clarity, Luma and Adaptive can drop frames as well while Clarity can make lights and glare much brighter thus making flashlights much brighter on your end. Adaptive is just the painkiller effect. No reason to ad that at all. The frame drop from Luma seems the least and does kind of clear up a bit of that "haze" that lingers on maps in the background. Makes things a tad clearer looking on foggier maps as well. The goal is to get a bit clearer picture but not deep fried.
Con-Yack, There now you'll never repeat cognac wrong, lol. If you can't remember how to pronounce a word, break it up into multiple easier-to-remember words but never forget the proper spelling. VOILA grammar will never be an issue again. EZ clap also works for math/geometry when dealing with complicated formulas etc
Dark just looks so god damn dark though, with Cognac, Chillwave and Montreal. I've played around with the Nvidia control panel color settings as well and even if I absolutely crank the brightness, contrast and gamma settings most dark corners and what not are still pitch black. I use the Emilia color grading preset and it looks infinitely better for me, and I've tried to get EFT content creators opinions on it but no one has replied to my comments so far. Have you tried it? What's your opinion?
Did you ever FPS test this? In my experience upping brightness instead of clarity and adaptive sharpen can give me 10-20 FPS. Ill test it again but im wondering whats your experience on this
Ok but if I now change my post fx to what this video is then I will have changed my post fx for the first time in 2 years. Ending the "never changing post fx thing" Oh wait its exactly what I've been running 🤣🤣
Nvidia color settings with postfx is where it’s at. Gives you a better boost in clearing up darker areas and you can dial back your postfx to give you better performance
I forgot to mention Clifden is a really good color grading option as well, very similar to Montreal. Hope this video helps everybody out!

For reference its French, and its KON-yak, or Cone yak
Mine is similar - color blind setting too. Proud to see you using that. I stick to boost but sometimes makes the dark maps too dark
damn this post fx settings are really good!

I use post fx + amd color and my benq color settings/gamma and also with benq monitors you can use black eq which pretty much erases all shadows lol
if post fx effects your performance you need better computer hardware my dude.
@@crisnmaryfam7344 also the fact tarkov is horribly optimized lol

Life changer thank you
This was a hot vid, subbed.
On my old gtx 1060 it feels like im having fps drops while I enable post fx
Yeah postfx will lower fps
Great content!
This shit burns my eyes
I'm just not made for post fx
really whack that the devs don't make the game look like non-shit by default.
Agreed lol
have you ever shot photography in RAW format?
first off all turn your BLACK EQUALIZER on -1 or 0 (iiyama user here) , for iiyama TN panel users i recommend preset OWL and 40 intensity
best post fx ever
Why no brightness?
It creates bloom and makes the sun and flashlights and stuff super bright
