M67 is great it’s not as heavy as the F-1 it can be thrown super far the timer is very funny and it has the lowest chance of friendly fragging because you have a lot of time to get away from it if you have a bad throw also the bounce pattern is nice and straightforward personally I have been addicted to zaryas because you can buy 12 of them per restock and nobody expects them but my second favorite is m67
m67's are easily my favouirite, throw one, and push to get the kill and get out before it blows up or use them as air strikes, they blow up just before they hit the ground if u throw them straight up, so if u can aim them accurately they're easy kills
ehhh the grenades you can sell to em aren't very valuable anyways. Most nades sell for 7000-9000 rubles, which isn't bad as far as a 1 slot item is concerned, but you can always just sell weapons to prapor.
Also i would add to this that paying for repairing also adds to money spend, ( so technicly theres 3 different ways to do money spend, if you included insurance), since he missed that

@lordpumpkinhead265 a loss on warthunder is nowhere near as painful as a loss on tarkov. Repairs costs have been fixed for nearly 2 years, and premium has always negated those problems. The problems with progression are a fair criticism, but you don't lose any progress when you die in warthunder.

It may be cheaper to risk death, depending on your loot/gear, how likely you think it is to be real and how much opportnity cost is it to avoid. 12:23 consider bringing in and using smokes to make concealment, especially if they fix the green ones to not be semi-transparent in this update. Don't stick around in the smoke though, it is still concealment and not cover. Stuff that hasn't been talked about: - Headsets - increase your ability to hear other people, thus giving you a more advanced warning. In general use them. For selection it's dependant on your irl headset and largely personal preference. - Insurance - insured gear gets returned to you unless it has been taken out of the raid by someone; doesn't work on The Lab. In general - use it. You can insure with Prapor or Therapist. Parpor is cheaper, but stores for only 4 (irl) days and takes 24-36h (iirc) to return; Therapist is more expencive, but stores for 7 (irl) days and takes 12-24h (iirc) to return. Most ppl use Prapor only, i prefer Therapist for guns as to only need to assemble half as many of the same gun when i start using it (may also apply to specific gear sets required by some quests). Also, DONT TAKE THINGS FROM INSURANCE AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVE. Insurance inventory is free stash space, use it (this is another reason to use Thrapist for guns, in effect you can store a higher variety outside of your stash). - Economy 1)In general, you are making money to then invest into progression, be it Hideout upgrades, contesting for quest items with other players (and also then giving them up for a quest instead of selling) or direct PvP quests. 2)After a point getting more expencive gear gives diminishing returns in terms of combat effectiveness and survivability (epecially considering that more expencive gear is more likely to be taken by other people after you get killed, instead of you getting it back in insurance). So gear up according to your needs: need to retrieve a rare item from a locked room with an expencive key? - use very good gear - survivability is very important in this case; need to retrieve a commonly spawning item from a PvP hotspot? - use cheap kits - sure, you'll die more, but you won't go broke nearly as fast if at all (and thus won't have to go do loot runs) AND will have less fear, which will increase PvP effectiveness. 2.1)In general, use balanced kits. Bringing in a 400k gun and a PACA is not very economically efficient.
I think the grenade message at the end is the most useful thing to average players and timmies alike. Even if you have one, that is at the very minimum a source of information.

No joke, not looting the people I kill is one of the best ways I make (or rather don't lose) money in this game. I can always loot the map's loot, even factory has enough boxes to make up for the players I killed. Unless I know they have something I want or I KNOW with 100% certainty the area is clear, I dont touch them. This often times leads to more kills when I'm sniping. Saving my own life is saving my own roubles, and a rouble saved is a rouble earned. I tested it myself, and ergo has a VERY small impact on arm stamina drain. I tested 2 weapons of identical weight with a difference of 47 ergo, and the ADS time was 32 vs 35 seconds. I also had 2 guns with ergo within 2.5 of each other but a nearly 3.5kg difference, and the difference was 35 vs 46 seconds. also my character can carry an extra 4kg of loot! very useful for people with longer ranged builds who may need to hold a point of aim while standing for a long period of time. the extra 5.5 seconds of perfect accuracy cannot be understated, and your arm stamina refills at the same rate, so you earn more seconds of arm stamina when it refills. Also, m67 grenades are amazing for killing, if you use them like an airburst. very hard to see because you need to throw them high in the air, and they have great kill radius.

20:18 I don’t play tarkov anymore but when I did I used the M67 in enclosed spaces like dorms, factory, etc. because if someone hears a grenade their ducking for cover and that extra 5 seconds may not seem like a lot but it has helped me win fights just by repositioning or running away

I have over 3000 hours in Tarkob. This is the best comprehensive new players guide you will find on youtube. I will add only one thing, bring a flashlight on your weapon. Even better, bring 3 or two big ones. The first time you get blinded by them you will see why. Also, if less than 3m, shoot with your peter. (meaning point/hip fire) 10/10 guide
This is wipe 13 for me and here i am watching a beginner level video. These are good tips. A short 20 minute introduction to Tarkov is golden for most newbies.
20:00 M67s are great because you can throw them outrageously far and they have the largest explosion radius. On paper it's only +1m to some of the other grenades, but on smooth ground like on woods it feels alot more forgiving than that

Make sure to always bring a general medkit (AI2, car, salewa and so on) as well as a splint, bandage and tourniquet for fractures, light bleeds and heavy bleeds respectively Apart from that, maps, layouts and spawns! I think a semi-in-depth guide from experienced content creators to maps and spawns is unexplored content, would love it if Levi made a series on that with 10-30 minute episodes per map
Something that really helped me is realizing that it’s just a video game and you have unlimited lives, but not unlimited gear. I just bring exactly what I need to save as much money as possible so if I die (which most people will die a lot) it’s not that punishing. If you need that pocket watch, all you need is a bandage and pistol, if you need to get kills then that would be the time for gear. You are basically Deadpool when it comes to dying, learn how to use it

Mapgenie is one of the best tools you can use. I have 3k hours and still reference it often for quest locations. Fork over the couple bucks for lifetime premium and always have it up on your second monitor. Tip for learning big maps like Woods: Start by figuring out where extracts are. Learning the map won’t do you any good if you don’t know how to get out. Then start by learning where a few key landmarks are. On Woods these could be things like the sawmill, checkpoint, sniper rock, Scav house, and the military camp. These distinct landmarks also tend to be hotspots for player and scav fights. Getting a rough idea of where other players spawn is also a good idea. If you have to stash an SV98 on Shoreline, you probably want to avoid any other PMC spawns on your way to the stash spot. Then learn how to get to and from each landmark. Slowly but surely you will start to recognize smaller things such as a distinct rock or a lake. Then after a while you will know exactly where you are by how spaced out 2 trees are in the middle of a forest.
new player tip for leveling Jaegar ---- sell him knives, also when getting flea at lvl 15 buy the "antique axe" from market for 50-55k roubles and it sells to Jaegar for roughly the same amount
Slow peaking was one of the first things I had to learn the hard way. Go so used to Stalker and SWAT that I just got instant head shot in every match I did it.
Bought tarkov as my 1st pc game about a month ago. It is the highest highs and the lowest of lows, really enjoying it though. Id add you should learn maps, focus on extracts and spawns 1st before you even worry about loot. And, sometimes you just get tarkoved, it is what it is.
Coming from an experienced player that runs 5 mans with 4 other experienced players. It takes an absurd amount of focused coordination and strict communication to NOT kill each other😅 learning to run a 5 man squad is a skill in of itself. If you want to learn to do it efficiently try using armbands and remember your teammates gear. Use strict comms, don’t over communicate what’s happening but don’t be silent either. Vital information only,if your separated in any way constantly communicate what your doing, where you are, and what your intentions are “I’m looting second floor” “I’m flanking right side” “stack up on me” “I’m nading” etc etc. If shots ring out and you split off in different directions find a close landmark and use it as a rendezvous point
The amount of times I've been like "Guys I heard something" and they tell me off just to get shot in the skull not even 5 seconds later is crazy, there is always someone watching you in Tarkov
Also another thing to mention is if u get/have arena it’s a good mode to practice your pvp skills and makes you more comfortable with aggressive play styles

also as a 5 stack player, at first BoB happened but if you get a group that has a few with experience (i.e. real life deployments etc.) its pretty damn easy as long as all are communicating simply and effectively, but ill agree the average player should never EVER go above 3 lol
@@ASRA177 I had the fortunate experience of playing in a 5 stack the first couple of weeks I had the game, and the 4 gents I was playing with are all combat vets. They all taught me real life combat tech while playing with them. My first few games they literally just gave me one job. Watch their 6 while they cleared ahead. It was boring at first, but learned a good amount about the game.
A good way to differentiate ammo from mods in their importance: Ammo is whats gonna deal damage to the enemy, mods are gonna help you get that ammo to the enemy.
Peacekeeper buys some clothes too like baseball hats and some armor/ rigs. I usually check with him before ragman until I have peacekeeper money spent.
Another helpful tip that i dont think ive ever seen.. those cheap,useless Zarya (russian flashbangs) are useful for 2 things. If you hear movement and arent sure if its a scav, just toss one on the feneral direction and if its a scav itll shout, also, if it hits a scav, theyll start shooting in a random location for a moment, giving you time to line up a shot.
I've never played EFT, I dont have a PC with the capacity to run it, but I do watch EFT streamers and I'm always so lost on why they pick some stuff an leave others or just general play knowledge but this is so helpful!

Agree to grenade tips. I did the same thing in Dayz. Couple of rats hid in the ATC tower and my teammates decide to go and clear the building out. We solve it by grenades.
i moved to war thunder after 2 years of tarkov , felt so well and chill, no such stress and life became easier 😅😅😅 now I'm playing arena breakout infinite and it feels a little more chill than tarkov still
the "general" grenades are quite diffrent from each other like the f1 my favorite cuz it rolls to the side killing people behind cover for any new players i recommend watching a whole grenade guide to know the many diffrences
Dont sleep on the vog short fuze grenade. It feels more consistent than the impacts do to me, and in most situations bahaves like a halo frag grenade. I usually only use the medium fuse grenades if I need extra range.

I will add only one thing, bring a flashlight on your weapon. Even better, bring 3 or two big ones. The first time you get blinded by them you will see why.

20:00 M67s are great because you can throw them outrageously far and they have the largest explosion radius. On paper it's only +1m to some of the other grenades, but on smooth ground like on woods it feels alot more forgiving than that
Dude, you are truly an amazing content creator. Your videos single-handedly got me back into Tarkov, and kept me from going completely insane as my brain matter was splattered across Customs. meds: CMS can restore fully destroyed body parts to remove the debuffs they give. Make sure to always bring a general medkit (AI2, car, salewa and so on) as well as a splint, bandage and tourniquet for fractures, light bleeds and heavy bleeds respectively
Apart from that, maps, layouts and spawns!
I think a semi-in-depth guide from experienced content creators to maps and spawns is unexplored content, would love it if Levi made a series on that with 10-30 minute episodes per map

Something that really helped me is realizing that it’s just a video game and you have unlimited lives, but not unlimited gear. I just bring exactly what I need to save as much money as possible so if I die (which most people will die a lot) it’s not that punishing. If you need that pocket watch, all you need is a bandage and pistol, if you need to get kills then that would be the time for gear. You are basically Deadpool when it comes to dying, learn how to use it

Mapgenie is one of the best tools you can use. I have 3k hours and still reference it often for quest locations. Fork over the couple bucks for lifetime premium and always have it up on your second monitor.
Tip for learning big maps like Woods:
Start by figuring out where extracts are. Learning the map won’t do you any good if you don’t know how to get out. Then start by learning where a few key landmarks are. On Woods these could be things like the sawmill, checkpoint, sniper rock, Scav house, and the military camp. These distinct landmarks also tend to be hotspots for player and scav fights. Getting a rough idea of where other players spawn is also a good idea. If you have to stash an SV98 on Shoreline, you probably want to avoid any other PMC spawns on your way to the stash spot. Then learn how to get to and from each landmark. Slowly but surely you will start to recognize smaller things such as a distinct rock or a lake. Then after a while you will know exactly where you are by how spaced out 2 trees are in the middle of a forest.
new player tip for leveling Jaegar ---- sell him knives, also when getting flea at lvl 15 buy the "antique axe" from market for 50-55k roubles and it sells to Jaegar for roughly the same amount

Slow peaking was one of the first things I had to learn the hard way. Go so used to Stalker and SWAT that I just got instant head shot in every match I did it.

Bought tarkov as my 1st pc game about a month ago. It is the highest highs and the lowest of lows, really enjoying it though. Id add you should learn maps, focus on extracts and spawns 1st before you even worry about loot. And, sometimes you just get tarkoved, it is what it is.

Coming from an experienced player that runs 5 mans with 4 other experienced players. It takes an absurd amount of focused coordination and strict communication to NOT kill each other😅
learning to run a 5 man squad is a skill in of itself. If you want to learn to do it efficiently try using armbands and remember your teammates gear. Use strict comms, don’t over communicate what’s happening but don’t be silent either. Vital information only,if your separated in any way constantly communicate what your doing, where you are, and what your intentions are
“I’m looting second floor” “I’m flanking right side” “stack up on me” “I’m nading” etc etc.
If shots ring out and you split off in different directions find a close landmark and use it as a rendezvous point
Get reserved marked key. Get spear. Never play again, have it forever.
The amount of times I've been like "Guys I heard something" and they tell me off just to get shot in the skull not even 5 seconds later is crazy, there is always someone watching you in Tarkov

also as a 5 stack player, at first BoB happened but if you get a group that has a few with experience (i.e. real life deployments etc.) its pretty damn easy as long as all are communicating simply and effectively, but ill agree the average player should never EVER go above 3 lol
@@ASRA177 I had the fortunate experience of playing in a 5 stack the first couple of weeks I had the game, and the 4 gents I was playing with are all combat vets. They all taught me real life combat tech while playing with them. My first few games they literally just gave me one job. Watch their 6 while they cleared ahead.
It was boring at first, but learned a good amount about the game.
I feel like as an experienced player the simple tips are often the ones most worth hearing, as those are what most tend to forget later down the line.
Fun fact: In PVE selling to traders does not count toward the transaction amount for leveling vendors, only purchasing does.
A good way to differentiate ammo from mods in their importance: Ammo is whats gonna deal damage to the enemy, mods are gonna help you get that ammo to the enemy.

Another helpful tip that i dont think ive ever seen.. those cheap,useless Zarya (russian flashbangs) are useful for 2 things. If you hear movement and arent sure if its a scav, just toss one on the feneral direction and if its a scav itll shout, also, if it hits a scav, theyll start shooting in a random location for a moment, giving you time to line up a shot.

Agree to grenade tips. I did the same thing in Dayz. Couple of rats hid in the ATC tower and my teammates decide to go and clear the building out. We solve it by grenades.

the "general" grenades are quite diffrent from each other like the f1 my favorite cuz it rolls to the side killing people behind cover for any new players i recommend watching a whole grenade guide to know the many diffrences
Dont sleep on the vog short fuze grenade. It feels more consistent than the impacts do to me, and in most situations bahaves like a halo frag grenade. I usually only use the medium fuse grenades if I need extra range.
