I moved to Arizona 2 1/2 years ago. I went to the Grand Canyon South two summers in a row. All I could say was "WOW!" It's a spiritual experience for me. I love it there. That zip lining experience you showed in this video looks like it might be on my bucket list now. Thanks for the great video!
We planned on moving to Arizona a couple of years ago but hasn't happened yet, awesome for you that it did The south rim is wonderful indeed. You should also make the trek to the North Rim. The drive is really cool. Now you have an excuse to go to the West rim :-) Thanks for watching.
You look and sound like one of the guys (climbers) that I interviewed from Yosemite that made it up to the plane crash in the mid 70s. Out doors, in the sun, you aren't breathing on anyone and no one is breathing on you and you have to wear a face mask. My God have "they" got us by the short one!
Wow, that's cool. I was a little kid in the mid 70s lol. This was right in the middle of the pandemic so rules were stricter then. I hardly wore a mask unless they said we "had" to. They are pretty useless I believe.
That's just a little part off the main part and it's that nice, the main part is even better. I have a video of that too. $49 admission into the park and $39-$44 to add on Zipline. They have a skywalk bridge with a glass bottom that you can walk out on also. It's extra also.
It goes over one of the washes along the canyon so you are still on the same side you started. After you're done they take you back up the hill in a little shuttle.
I think that was across the Little Colorado River, east of the National Park. I think people tend to forget that the Grand Canyon is over 277 miles long.
I just came across your video... wanted to thank you for sharing yours & your family's adventure... it's was amazing... I've always want to go ... it's on my bucket list 🙂
Wow, I didn't know there was ziplining at the Grand Canyon! I really enjoyed your video.....and fantastic coverage with your GoPro. Where/how did you attach it to yourself? I just got a Hero 9 and am still learning to use it!
Thanks so much for watching and the kind words. The ziplining is at the west rim, which is not owned by the National Park Service, its owned by the Indians. I think its definitely worth the visit. I have snap mounts. snapmounts.com/ They are magnetics plates that make it super easy to switch mounts. I had one under my shirt and attached the gopro that way. They are very handy. It is surprising what the Indians have down with their part of the Grand Canyon.
Yes it is. The skywalk is cool too but we wanted to Zipline instead. I have another video that shows the real part of the canyon.
May I ask, how many lines are there?
Sure, there are 4 lines on each tower and 2 towers.
So 4 people at a time on 2 different sets.
How do you get back over the canyon?
It goes over one of the washes along the canyon so you are still on the same side you started.
After you're done they take you back up the hill in a little shuttle.
That is where Evels son jumped the Grand Canyon .On the Rez right ?
Honestly I'm not sure. It may be, I've never paid attention.

I love the sound it makes
It's cool when you're at the bottom and can hear the other people coming before you can see them.
Zip lining the Grand Canyon? What's next, Walgreen's, Circle K? Is this run by a Native American tribe also?
Yes it's the part the Indians own. It is away from the main canyon and not disrupting any views.
What are you talking about?
Exactly what i thought. Nothing says enjoying nature's beauty like people flying above you on a cable, probably screaming and yelling all the way.
@@shauncasey8295 it's not by the beautiful part of the canyon. Did you even watch? There are no people on the ground below you.
It’s theirs, so what?
