Great video, thanks for sharing it. We are headed to Peru in a few days. We are interested in doing the Palccoyo hike. We are 64 years old fairly fit retirees. I am a quite nervous about the altitude sickness possibility. I was wondering how strenuous you found the hike to be and what (if anything) you did the guard against altitude sickness. Thanks
Hi there! Palccoyo was beautiful and something you can do at your own pace. There is medication at all pharmacies to battle altitude. Have a great time!
literally i typed this sometime ago in ur other video and i deleted cuz i sounded lame but lol, i do enjoy watching u talking. u should open mic, ur fun and truly funny❤
Hi Cheryl Melhoff 👋 Awe, you are too sweet and that's EXACTLY what I needed to hear today so thank you for that! ❤️ not sure about open mic.... but I'm happy SOMEONE finds me funny! Whew! Thank you for watching ❤️
Which tour operater did you use for rainbow mtn. Assume you went out of cusco. How much what time does it start. You get to hike stone forest too? Some tours start later like 7am but i prefer earlier. You mentioned 160 soles?
Hi there Dave! In the video you'll see that it's an early start to the day at 415am. It's a 14 hour day and it was 58 CAD pp. We used a company called Clap Travel! They are great we booked with Corina, she's lovely and very helpful! Thanks for watching!
@@davetravelstheworld lol, us being in Niagara at the same time is 1 in a million I'd say! lol....but I appreciate your offer! Yes, stone forest was REALLY cool!
One last question? How careful were you with salads (raw veg), and ice cube in restaurants and streets (Cusco/Lima/etc.) ? Don't want upset stomach .. Does this depend on nicer restaruants or chains vs local or street or smaller establishments
