Wow! Incredible lesson! Took an on line piano course that went over music theory. Then gave us 4 chords that most songs use. But was never shown how to use those chords. I like how you used a song as a framework for teaching specific patterns. It really helps me remember them better. However, I struggled with when to add in the LH thumb bass pulses. I would love more like this - keeping it simple. I can imagine this is what would eventually set. me free to make my own choices. I first need to imitate specific ones within a context.
