Here's my first look at the new ARRMA Talion 6S. This is very much the same as the Kraton 6S that I already have, but wanted to see the differences and since the Kraton is more of a "Monster Truggy" than a standard Truggy, I figured the Talion would be more comparable to my ST4 and SaberTooth Truggies.

I just picked up a Talion a few days ago and I love it! I went to pick up a Typhon based off your review and running videos, but this was in stock and I couldn't resist. I felt this was the best balance between the Typhon and the Kraton. Ran it on an indoor carpet track all afternoon and it handled amazingly well considering it was a bit out of place on a 1/10 scale track. I threw on some 3.8 proline mashers and took it outside and bashed it hard in the snow and it was a beast! Great reviews Vas, Thanks!
My plans are to get all 3 also. I loved the comparisons because I wasn't sure until now that I did want all 3. Great video, love the outtakes.

As always, awesome video bro! "I'm not Italian, it's a Talion!" Nice. Never would have thought of that one. I think you're right on the money here. When people ask what the difference is between the Talion, and the Kraton, this truck is very much more a true 1/8th truggy, and the Kraton is much more like the E revo, which is a monster truck, truggy hybrid. The lines of this rc are awesome, the design is top notch, and kudos to Arrma for releasing so many awesome new rc's!

Haven't been here for a while, I'm looking forward to the Senton, 6S in a 1/10 is gonna be unreal. Honestly apart from the tyres and the body, there really is no difference between this and Kraton, hopefully you will shed some light on which one we should buy.

Wow, you must have read my mind! How exactly did you sneak this in without me seeing it? I've been thinking that I'd love to see you do a thorough and objective review of this truggy, and here it is! Additionally, you compared this to the Kraton, TT ST4, and Saber Tooth, all truggies which I've been considering for my next project. I think the Talion may find it's way into my RC collection! You sir, are awesome! I agree that the Kraton, E-revo, and with the addition of a wing even the TT MT4 would best be described as Monster Truggies. I appreciate the time you take and hard work you put into making such informative videos. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing this on 6S!

You deserve it VAS! You have become one of the most trusted sources for accurate RC reviews! Curious, have you ever considered doing a review of the Exceed Mad Beast? I've heard very good things about it, and the price is very reasonable.
The main difference between the Kraton and Talion are in the AXLE 8x38.5mm for the Talion and 8x44.5mm for the Kraton, the CVD are the same for both. The other difference are the HEX 17.6mm for the Talion and 24.7mm for the Kraton. The third difference are visible with eye, half inch offset rim. Good video Aussie I like your show :)

Hey I just wanted to say that I like your videos. I just got back into the hobby a few months ago with the slash 4x4. Then I got the Typhon and a scx10 deadbolt.
My next one I want the Senton but like the size on the Talion.. I cant get the Senton till end on April. You have to do a video on the Senton!!!! Hey keep up the great work!!!

Hi Vas, awesome unboxing video, as always. Have a couple of question to ask you.....would the body of this car fit the Kraton once the roll-bar was removed? Also, would the Kraton's wheels/tires fit straight onto the Tailon? l just think the Kraton would look better/meaner with the Tailon's body......maybe

How do you compare Talion with Sabertooth? After servo, motor and esc upgrade Sabertooth just cost more less the same as Talion, so is it less hassle to go for Talion? Thanks!

Question: If you could only buy one of these 1/8 ARRMA vehicles as a basher, which one would you choose given what you know now about these vehicles? I was interested in picking one of these vehicles up at some point so I watched the release of the Kraton and Typhon vehicles during Christmas time to see how they worked out. Given the initial ESC troubles, waiting seemed to be the right call.
do you know how simular this truck is compared to its race kit version the team durango dex8t?
Great video .... Car is stunning !! I have a question .. what do you think about the kyosho fo-xx ve? There are not many reviews on it ... I'm a little concerned that everything is exposed inside ... there is nothing to protect against rocks gravel and all kinds of flying objects

Does the Arrma talion v2 come with the tactic radio station?
With the A arms being the same I assume this Talion could run the wheels that are on the Kraton?
So u could run a 3s and 2s pack together to make 5s or only 4s total or 6s total thx

Another great video! 9:40 you say that the towers are 4mm thick. They´re actually 5mm thick. No biggie maybe but it could also be a selling feature for Arrma... I don´t know.

Well now I want to see what exactly are the differences between the Kraton and the Talion....is it the wheels and tires or are their other differences under the lid? I know you pointed out the sizes but could you do a lid off comparison please....I am saving to buy the Kraton but I now I also like the Talion and I would like to see each one is side buy side to see what else is different ...Because if the are exactly the same except the wheels then the choice is easy....the cheaper of the 2 but if their is other changes then the choice get tougher....and please keep up with the bloopers too....I have now been fast forwarding to watch them first because I can't wait to see them ...then I go back and watch the whole video...lol it is like a kid who can't wait to get home from the store to eat the candy....lmao

Are you able to put different Bodies on the talion or is it made just for the body it comes with?
xADJ Cheesy You can fit most 1/8 scale truggy bodies without any problems, so after market options are available.

I'm looking to get a new rc and i love the way truggys are the looks the handling but i no that not a lot of brands sell rtr 1/8 scale truggys i don't want to spend a lot of money on a conversion so would this be a good option i have never herd of this brand and i don't want to regret buying the truck i have a slash now and its fun i just want something bigger and faster

Where you get the additional on to get 60 mp/h?
Hobby shops will sell them or you can look online - eBay, Tower Hobbies, Amain Hobbies, etc. It's just a MOD1 pinion, so it's very common. Anything from 17T or higher can get you to 60mph.

Russell Jones I've actually found a few other subtle differences that I want to show in another video. This was just to compare looks mainly, but there's more to it once you take the body and tires off both trucks. Stay tuned...

+Mika Kabra The Talion is the better car, but it's also twice the money. The Sabertooth offers great value for money and is a strong performer.

Advertised as Ready To Run, but does NOT come with a much needed expensive lipo (4S at least, and around $70.00 each). No LIPO charger, and no Tx AA batteries.

mazpr2025 Most "RTR" RCs are sold in the same manner. Other brands such as HPI, Thunder Tiger, CEN and even Traxxas will sell their cars as "RTR" without batteries. It's how it works. Reason for it is because it makes it easier and cheaper to ship these products around the world.

I hate when they say straight out of the box. "No" it's a option straight out of the box with speeds up to 60 if you choose to take it apart and add the gear needed to reach that speed.

im just pointing out that the moment i saw the box i thought of traxxas :) besides, i think it's a good thing they did it because nothing catches the eye more than those traxxas boxes when you are at your LHS :)
