We started having a salad bar for dinner every Monday night and I chop everything that can be chopped so it's ready to go for the week 😊 I love having everything ready!
Hi Miranda! If you want your succulents to last please don’t water them daily, you will drown them! Succulents are made to go for long times without water! If you just give them a small bit of water every week once/twice at the most, they will thrive! Best of luck! Succulents are the only thing I don’t kill! 😊
Happy anniversary Miranda! I agree that flowers are one of the easiest, least expensive self-care gift you can give yourself (especially from TJ's!). Pretty combo you chose this week! We're heading out on vacation later this week so we are eating our way through the fridge AND freezer to keep food waste & costs down. I do a deep fridge clean quarterly. Like this video, *everything* comes out and gets cleaned. Every week, I clean out the fridge. I empty out the refrigerator drawers (I have 3: meat, produce & cheese.....yes....cheese gets it's own drawer, lol). I dump what's looking past its prime but the more often I do it, the less often I have to toss stuff. I also empty the shelves of any dinner leftovers that didn't get eaten. A lot of those freeze really well so I have lunch for the next week. And I wipe all the shelves and drawers down so it just feel good, everytime I open the door. Great video. As always, wishing you all the very best!
Yes agreed! Cleaning/tidying the fridge is a great way to keep food waste low because it happens days get busy things get pushed back and we don’t always look at dates! Plus a good refresh of it keeps things smelling and looking nice
I'm sure the comments are gonna say this a 100 times but don't water your succulents but once a week. They will get moldy and die. Buuuut Vegas is perfect to dry em out so they will love you if you set them outside to dry out a bit and get sun. They mainly need sun. If they don't do great on the counter no worries. Put them in a big pot at your front door and they will love it outside. You can water them more often if they are outside ❤
@@flourishingmiranda absolutely! These are made for neglect and sun. Aloe Vera will grow really great that same way so if you wind up liking These I know there are Aloe juice recipes. I just have never made it DIY.
I love the baked tofu idea. Where we live in the UK the general population around is not really into tofu so we regularly get it reduced. Last week, it was reduced f (for 280g) from £2.20 ($2.80) to £0.30p ($0.38). We bought 20 packets! We waited as long as we could as we didn't want to do anyone else out of a bargain and tried to persuade people that is extremely versatile but we just got strange looks! In the end, the shop owner said that they just don't sell and would be thrown away. Such a waste.
Hi Miranda🎉Happy anniversary. Our holiday is July first and my sister is coming to visit me for a week❤❤ She is a teacher and counting down for her summer break, and she usually starts it off with me. But alas! It’s supposed to rain. Lol. I will drag her to the city for a grocery haul and lunch and a meal prep the next day. Have a fun fourth. Luv you.
Happy anniversary MiRanda! We leave Arizona for our vacation home near Ogden Utah this week. My daughter and her family have invited fronds to camp in our backyard over the weekend. We wii be hosting 16 adults., 6 kid aged 3 to 7, 4 infants and 5 dogs. I’m tired just thinking about it’. I have my veggie burgers ready for the grill and a plant based meal plan all ready!
Hi Miranda! I started watching you during lockdown. You kept me sane, happy, and I felt like I wasn’t alone. I can’t thank you enough for that. This is overdue, because I’m on the shyer side, but I wanted to reach out to you, to give back what you unknowingly gave me when I was down. You are so beautiful inside and out, equally with and without makeup. You are strong, hardworking, and kind, and I wish you ALL the happiness in the world. You deserve it! ❤
Happy 4th of July and Congratulations on 13 year of marriage!! My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the 3rd. We are celebrating both our anniversary and the 4th in your home town Las Vegas. Planning to watch the fireworks over Caesars Palace tonight. 🎰🎲
I've seen others do that, and always consider if I should or not depending on how dirty they are and I almost did yesterday!!! I think thats such a smart idea!
I love watching people go shopping but it's not necessary to make a great haul video and I'm more grateful for the respect you show people by not filming when the store is busy. I used to have a really bad phobia of having my picture taken. I would be terrified in public places that someone would snap a pic or make a video and I'd be in it. It wasn't an "I don't think I look good in pictures" thing. I was really very sick. And though my phobia is probably very rare I know loads of people who are uncomfortable with having their pictures taken and/or being posted on the internet somehow. I don't mean people shouldn't take pictures and videos and live their lives but it's always a good thing to be mindful of your surroundings. When I post stuff on my instagram and facebook I always make sure to blur faces of people who has accidentally been caught on my pic. It just makes me feel better I guess because I remember how hard it was for me when I was ill. Those sunflowers and the cacti were so pretty! =)
im actually really glad you said this because i get comments often like "take us shopping with you!" and I "feel bad" because I see others do it--- so I feel like i'm not a good vlogger per say but I think of all the people in a public place who don't want to be in the background sure it happens when you might be taking a photo or video in a more publicly known atmosphere like mount rushmore that you might end up in the background of someones photo but what if you're just running to the store to grab something real quick!? I know for me I don't want to end up on a random youtube video that could be seen by thousands so I try to be really respectful and if I get shots its of product or a quick overview and when a place is super busy to me its not the time or place!
@@flourishingmiranda You make so much great content for us! It's varied and inspiring. You should never do something you're not comfortable with. Would you at some point want to shoot a store run I'm sure you would find a way to do it respectfully but I would hate it if you did it because you felt pressured to. The best part in my opinion is always watching the haul you brought home and what you do with it anyways
If you haven’t before-you should pick up the Trader Joe’s Vegan Buffalo Dip for your husband. It’s great as a dip or a spread. It’s so good although it has a kick. Not sure if he’d mind that but it’s a fav for me.😋
