  • We install skid plates on our 5th Gen 4Runner to protect our rear lower links on our . We reinforce the forward link mounts on the frame that are vulnerable to damage when offroading with heavy duty brackets from Eimkieth.
    Here's the link to the brackets: eimkeith.com/b...
    If you're anywhere near the IL-WI border, we highly recommend you have Lars at Axel Fabrications & Repairs weld the bracket on for you: / axel-fabrication-repai...

    Oh, that’s something we all know is super vulnerable but I’ve never thought of-very cool

    Been watching since the FJ days, but the 4 Runner mods are just as intriguing/ 2007 FJ 2x4 Stock. 230K going strong.

    This is great. Have you given any thought to aftermarket alternators that supply more power or have you not needed that yet?

    Thanks for another helpful video. What is the factory spec for the torque on that one?

    I need some assistance. I just installed the toyotech 2.0 and now when I drive I hear like a clunk noise on my front shocks. Any idea?

    How much did you pay to have these welded on as well as you panhard bar supplement?
    Just for reference.

    Do you not like the RCI version? Did the fuel skid plate getting ripped off turn you off of their products?.

    • @WanderlostOverland
      @WanderlostOverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The RCI Lower Link Skid works well too. This one has more coverage though. I think there's a little confusion; we've never had an RCI fuel tank skid on our 4Runner.

      @@WanderlostOverland must have been another 4wd channel I know someone had the RCI fuel skid plate get ripped off. So they put the C4 on .
