If MCC is a test bed for Infinite, then I would love for them to add customizable HUDs. Since Halo 3 has been the guinea pig for new content, they can add a Halo Online styled hud, Halo 2, CE (with slight differences since 3 has no health packs), and anything else.

I do really think that they are just testing stuff out. Personally I’d love to see unique items on a Spartan in infinite as well as the return of armor effects. Just imagine running around as a Spartan with ghillie netting on you.
It's quite refreshing to see someone actually excited for this new content, rather than whining about how 343 is personally destroying his childhood. The old-timers have gotten incredibly closed minded when it comes to their beloved franchise. I understand wanting to preserve things the way they were, but the toggles exist and in this insider build they've even been improved by having the original H3 model without the "weird feet" anymore. Why can't anybody just be excited that a 13 year old game is getting new content? I mean, that IS pretty freaking cool. Also, it's great to see somebody actually having a ball playing Halo. I feel like it's starting to ignite that old spark in me again.

To be honest I wish there was a toggle for the weapon skins cause a Spartan running around with a gold camo gun just doesn't sit right, I like the new armors they've added into 3, while not all of them but I do prefer some pieces over the original model which in my opinion is a bit dated and the feet always look big and goofy and don't see how it looked better than any of the new armors

HALO and especially the MCC were transformed from a "HALO" to a "Powerrangers-Transformers-Call of Duty" experience. More or less the USP of HALO is gone. They just implemented the CSF of the current EGO-Shooter game market. There are many investigations made regarding this subject and they explain it quite well. Nevertheless, I like playing it, especially HALO 3 but when I came across all these skins and armor upgrades and season things I was quite in shock at what happened to this franchise. Blue Warthogs, golden Ghosts. Fancy colored weapons. Idk. The gameplay is the same but I always think the iconic visual experience is just not the same. It is like art. It feels like they just took the Mona Lisa and repainted or added some new touches. Yeah, it is the Mona Lisa but it is also not the same. Like a replica.

@@jace_Henderson especially when bringing in new fans that would help keep the series alive, as a halo vet these new customizations are welcomed ones honestly, especially the ODST variants for me since halo 3 launches back in like 2007 I always wanted full ODST armor in the game now we have it and it looks great without being over the top, weapon skins aren't even that bad you only really notice if you are the one using the skin but when you pick up a weapon that skin changes to what you have it set as anyway, 343 could have implemented pay to win stuff again but they didn't they just added more armor cosmetics to make your spartan your own, halo fans have always sought to express their soldier as an extension of themselves and with more options we can expand on doing so. the concept of using MCC as a testing ground for infinite is pretty acceptable if it's going the way it is which isn't game breaking or defacing of halo more or less they've really just given halo 3 a halo reach customization overhaul which fans absolutely loved,
Now all we need is customisable HUDs like we somewhat saw in 3 and Reach when swapping between Elite and Spartans. Like imagine an ODST style HUD or even a minimalist Doom style one

I actually agree with this. The katana should be able to be placed as an accessory. I think it would make for neat customization. Problem is it'll be a stick up a purist's ass as it wasn't how Bungie intended it.
I'm a little annoyed they didn't make everyone just have to get the armours the old way...rocking the Katana and Recon in multiplayer was a huge flex. But at the same time, I'm not sure I wanna do vidmasters again

Wtf this is basically everything I’ve ever wanted for customization in halo, MCC now has the best armor customization in any game fight me about it, I also appreciate 343 porting over other armors from halo online as well as lost content and armor from reach
At 10:10 is a perfect example of a Nade Shot use a grenade to damage the enemy using the slow mechanic after them getting hit to send the away or pop them straight up for an easy one two punch which in my opinion is one of the best feeling in Halo

IIRC they got up to like season 10 planned out so hopefully one of the upcoming seasons will be focused on Halo 2 content. Some H2C weapon skins and H2A weapon skins/new armors would be nice to see, since H2A is a bit lacking in the customization department. Obviously getting the Halo Online content and old cut customization options ported over is a bit more important to them since H2A is a smaller game than the others but I have to imagine one of the upcoming seasons will be focused on H2. Can't think of much else they could add in over the next four seasons.
I haven’t played this new maps yet but from what I can tell looking at that one man cannon setup, it’s literally that one map from halo four that has the exact same set up
I hope that because of that glitch, they make a Hornet skin for the mongoose, where you just see a Hornet randomly sliding across the map with a mongoose engine sound and the pilot not sitting in the cockpit correctly.
