Caleb Love has improved from his freshman season. This year he is being asked to do more and sometimes he ends up doing too much. He has a coach who played many years in the NBA so he is being coached on what he needs to do to get there. His shooting percentage is more about his shot selection than his ability to shoot, however, one thing that is certain that is he needs to cut down on his TOs you can't have more of those than you have assists. He is also a much-improved defender this year over last year plus Garcia being gone for the season is putting more on everyone's plate as well. Those comments made in this video about Caleb not being a good basketball player are totally inaccurate and make no sense at all. He has made a lot of big plays for North Carolina to win games this year. What everyone needs to realize about the NBA is that there is not enough room for everyone to be a superstar, it just doesn't work that way. He will find his place.
Eventho he wasn't great like he was supposed to be, he is still good and if you say he isn't then your just wrong. His improvement from his freshman season to this one is tremendous. He has always been athletic and was capable of driving to the basket but this season his shooting picked up alot. He will be playing in the NBA.

I think you’re being way too harsh. As a UNC fan it’s easy to expect so much out of a freshman but he didn’t come in under normal circumstances. First he was following up after two of the best freshman point guards UNC has ever had in Coby White and Cole Anthony who were two of the teams best players their respective years and both averaged over 15 pts a game. He also came in during Covid which Roy wasn’t able to get the guys on campus early like usual. They didn’t have the scrimmage with the old heads who come back from the league or overseas. They didn’t get that team chemistry, not to mention the style of play Roy was having them do was not conducive to all the pieces we had.
