Agree with everything you said. As a UNC fan, he was the most frustrating player I have ever seen in a Tar Heel uniform. Hard not to have hope based on potential. There is a reason he is not on any mock draft list. He shoots like he thinks he is Steph Curry, but his shooting is average at best. He does not make his teammates better. His defense is a bigger problem. He is built for great D, long and strong, but he focuses on his shot, only. Sometimes he puts no effort into D. Sometimes he is lockdown. To show you he can play solid D, and then not put in the effort, shows laziness or just not caring. He wants to be the hero but in the NBA, he will likely be a zero. Every player above him on the 2020 ESPN top 100 list is either in the League or G League (14 in the NBA and 2 in G League). NBA scouts are passing. He will likely play another year in college. Made $1 million in his year at Arizona, which is more than he would make in Europe or G League by far. Then he is a 26-year-old rookie? His age becomes another negative.
he definitely nba ready and thats because everybody has bad games. sucks that his bad games happened in big moments, but if he continues working he definitely can be a problem. if he was to get drafted by a team like dallas, GSW, the bucks, or the 76s man it would be too east for him. we will see tho i think he making it to the nba early 2nd round
