As I walked in there were only a few carts available and I knew it was going to be very busy inside my favorite Goodwill. I could tell they had recently restocked though and beginning with the first aisle, the treasures began to flow off the loaded shelves and into my cart! Thrift with me for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. I love the quality of real crystal, simplicity of it, how it can go with any theme, durable, beautiful, wish more people collected it because I find it all the time and can't resist a good deal on a quality piece. I have sold some ❤ a french crystal dish with gold trim sold for 120 i got it for 5 from Goodwill..an exciting chaching for sure!

Whoever made the very unkind remarks about your nails is very petty and insulting! You are such a beautiful & intelligent lady to “ go Thrifting “ with, your nails certainly should NOT be an issue. Anyone who has perfectly manicured nails ALL THE TIME, obviously does NOT work like you do. YOU ARE THE BEST ❗️♥️
The "test tubes" are actually used to start plant cuttings. There is a rack that they hang from.
I'm the one who suggested using the ginger grater as a makeup brush cleaner

That is a "grate" idea. My husband has one he never uses.
it would make a great makeup brush cleaner always dry brush facing down. I would be super super careful with makeup blending sponges, they tear so very easily and then unusable due to germs gathering, your skin deserves to be germie free. If anyone is interested in what I use to clean my tools for myself and my customers, please let me know.
I Agree with the others, why would anybody feel inclined to comment on your fingernails, or any personal things regarding you? Bear and Rio are so special. Such a joy to watch. You cats are so deliciously huggable. I love them so much.

I think the mini slag glass cups and pitcher were made as toys - like a children's tea set / drink set. I found a small set of teacups and saucers in that sort of glass a few weeks ago, and picked them up because of how cute they looked, and then found out that they are collectible in some circles as well.

The raku vase is gorgeous! I think you should mend it with gold. Your delicate movements of your hands when you handle the items at Goodwill makes me think that your mending would be just perfect.
Frame 29:33 + Ref. the little blue pitcher... Alley Agate ( or Akro Agate ) made a Children's Tea Set. I don't know if thats part of the set or not, but it would give you a place to start. PS. Frame 39:03 + I believe you found more of the set !

I believe the little slag glass pieces are from a childs playset. I found similar pieces in my attic when I moved into my house.

I collected marbles. also. My mother made me drawstring denim bags to save them in. That had to be 65 years ago and they have still held up and hold the treasured marbles of mine…

I am so happy for Chris to have gotten the new position as Flight Medic. That says a lot about his abilities. Your haul was fantastic. You always choose to buy the most expensive lovely and desirable pieces. Bear, Rio, Ziggy and B as well as the hummingbirds are always the high point of your videos.

I never look at your nails, only your smile! By the way, the blue purpleish small flowers you bought or not lavender. If you look at the leaves, they’re coming from the bottom. They are pearl hyacinths.
Oh, I have an idea: you can suggest that the buyer of the Dutch pot plants pearl hyacinths instead of crocuses. The bulbs are smaller.😊

Hi Tiffany! Oh, those green goblets with the clear stems are something on my list of items I so wish I could find! They were given away in detergent back in the 50s-60s. My grandma had some when I was a little girl and I loved them. Sadly, none survived. I have been looking for them ever since. They can be found online for resale, but I can’t afford those prices. I’ll have to find them in the wild. Your Goodwills have the best stuff!

An idea I saw for the clear glass Depression Glass bells was to line your mantle with them with the tiny led tea lights in them .... very pretty!

I'm always amazed at how you manage to remember where you saw the matches to things when you come across them and go back to reunite them. I imagine you'd have been a great asset to the codebreakers at Bletchley Park in the UK back in WWII with your memory, powers of observation and eye for detail.

You have found, I believe, some pieces of a children’s set of vintage Akro Agate doll/toy dishes, nearing the 100 year mark to be considered antique. They were popular starting in the 1930’s. I have a complete set in the original display box. Nice find! They could be part of a vintage Christmas display of children’s toys. ❤🎉❤

I never thought that marbles would glow under black light. I have a few that I found in an old bottle dump. I’m going to check them when I get home!
The scroll can go over a doorway in an entryway. You can put a smaller horizontal picture below the scroll also for another effect. Missed your two videos a week for a while. I can’t imagine keeping the schedule up with kids and family, kudos for those that do. I’ve never been able to keep nails, as a chef it’s not allowed or sanitary. So people need to understand and move on.

The small yellow and orange pieces are planter containers for itty bitty flowers/plants.
The velvet boarder Christmas cards in the box are HTF, if they are chromatic they could sell $10+ a piece.

That big round blue glass diamond point tray is nice. (@ about 9:00 in the time stamp) I have a few of them like it in clear and they are so useful. I use them as platters, cake plate, charcuterie trays, I set large planters on them as “drip catchers”😅, they do come in handy and are sparkly and just a bit more fun than a plain ceramic one. 👍

I have one of those frogs. Mine fell in the wind and broke the crown also. The eyes are clear and also glow.
