From a foot away I watched a lady pick up an incredible blue and white vase, look it over and put it back... I left the cute little polar bear on the shelf and grabbed it!.... lets go thrifting and find out what it was.

Its mid February and its warmed up considerably. Our trees are starting to show little buds here in Las Vegas... Spring is coming! Today I am back at one of my favorite Goodwills at Rainbow and Cheyenne here in Las Vegas. I don't have my Thrifting Vegas blanket with me because it had a very important mission... cushioning drawers from an amazing mid century sideboard I purchased on offer up. Thrift with me for some unexpected treasures, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. I see you are still struggling with the stores that won't let you use your blanket.. I usually head straight to linens and find a small blanket or a couple of bath sheets. just fold the hanger under so it is easy to return to rack after i check out
That lemon carafe is missing its glasses. there were 6 of them. had the same set in oranges.

The Delfs blauw vase is made in the Netherlands probably painted by someone with the initials CB. And it probably had a lid from what I can seen. I found very similar ones. If it’s only number 3 from 60,it might be an older piece, It will need a bit of research..💁🏻♀️
By the way,blauw means blue..😊

My mom has about 30 hummingbirds that come to her home, every year. They are so loyal❤. She worked hard on keeping the feeders clean and full. Sadly she passed last June. That summer, I was up there, and did not see on e hummingbird. I know they felt her absence😢( me too! Thank you for sharing them with us. Gave me a smile🙏❤️

I don't know if your voice overs are harder or easier for you but there is just something so soothing to hear you voice explaining choices and shopping and excitement you bring to your lovely viedo's. Love showing the comp and how to look up ..it has helped me so much😇🥰🙏 Also love love love you showing how you fix restore or get out mark on different item materials. Maybe you could show one on what you would try to get out marker marks on plastic type matetials..I've try all my tricks and no luck

I have a couple of demitasse cups listed lots of likers but not buyers. I also can’t read the inscription, I searched and searched!
@@mariaroldan4200 Does it help at all to magnify the inscription? Sometimes that helps, sometimes Google lens helps but nothing is 100%.
I wish the Goodwills near me had prices like Vegas. Most things start at least $3.99. I never see items under a dollar.😥

You’re constantly saying that clear glass doesn’t sell for you and then you buy a piece. You are always saying “but it’s not vintage so I’ll leave it”, and then you pick up a giraffe.
I know that sometimes you break your “rules”, but at least explain why, otherwise you’re talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Quick tip for your terracotta pots so they don't steal all your moisture out of the soil. Before planting up your pot, immerse in a bucket of water for 24 hours. This will cure your pot.

It’s number 3160 on the Delft vase…it’s says Deflt Blauw….. which is Dutch for Delft Blue. Which means it was sold in Holland not exported. Holland is region, similar to Nevada is a region of the USA…. My family is Dutch….

I think the word in Dutch following Delft (on the bottom of the vase is “blauw” or [blue in Dutch]).
The old brass piece of the double-headed eagle under a crown is Imperial Russia.
The cracks in the marble or granite top can be repaired.

I can't find the signature of the Delft blauw vase anywhere. Not even at the site of Delft itself. But if the letters CB are real than is made in the late 50's.
Always remove covers behind picture frames, many have found cash in them along with the lining of men's suits.

Hi Tiffany, the writing on the bottom of that beautiful Delft vase says: BLAUWEISS....which stands for blue-white.
Actually it says Delfts Blauw. It is Dutch of course.
It means Delft bleu. Leave this to the Dutch people.
I have an idea for you, Whenever you go into goodwill, grab one of their blankets that they have for sale. Put it in the bottom of your cart and when you go to checkout, tell them that you changed your mind on it and don't want it! There, problem solved for your cart padding!

My grandmother had that same lemon thing and she had eight glasses that went with it and it had a flip top lid. It was beautiful we used to drink the lemonade in it all the time cause she made her lemonade, fresh.

Everyone thought I was crazy....I used to go to goodwill and opportunity village on Decatur.....they were the best.. especially for people who don't have much money,never know what is there at any given time.

Tiffany, there are so many potential customers out there who specifically look for diverse pieces of arts and crafts e.g. Santas, angels, nativity characters etc. The status quo is pretty self explanatory and many people from other ethnicities look for treasures that are representative of their culture, colour, faith etc. I love the two black angels and if I didn’t live so far away from you (or if I had the budget - I’m a senior on a limited pension), I’d snap those angels up in a jiffy. They are so beautiful. I bought two black Santas many years ago for a friend who had adopted two African American children and gave them to her for Christmas - she absolutely loved them and so did her children. Santa’s workshop doesn’t skyways have to be in the North Pole - it can be in the Sahara with Old St. Nick’s cousins doing the delivery for him in the developing. LOl!!
The options are somewhat limited and there’s a market for other ethnic treasures I’m sure. Just a suggestion!

Hello Tiffany, such a great haul many wonderful pieces. Your credenza is fabulous. I know that you have the ability to spruce up the wood and I must tell you that the crack in the travertine just gives the piece character. You could make up an entire story around it when guests come. But most importantly, my heart exploded with joy when I saw Bear and Rio all cuddled together in the big bed. What a great big brother Bear is to share with Rio.
Tiffany, there was another little owl to the left on the shelf when you got the first owl and the giraffe. Looked like a barn or snowy owl.

I know you look at items in terms of adequate profit, but some items that you put back with a small amount of grazing wouldn't deter some of us from buying. Love the footage of your furbabies and the birds‼
yeah a the NMBC character was a gaff also. Most real NMBC collectors don't buy from Amazon unless it is t-shirts and by August, Halloween the latest , you could have asked $50 and got it. Sometimes ebay is not your friend.

Hi Cynthia! You are sooo right sweet friend, thank you, but let me share my reasoning (and the inspiration for the thumbnail of this video). A lady had just picked up the amazing Delft Blue vase and put it down. I wanted to grab it quickly in case she changed her mind, turned around and came back for it, and because I only have one hand to use, I was willing to risk losing the polar bear (about a $20 piece), to get the vase, (possibly $100 or more....)oxo

You should have picked up the 3 large jars with aqua blue lids, the double sided gravy boat with saucer with little blue flowers be great as a planter, the ice bucket as a planter, aqua plates with white stars. You made great choices though.

I really like those tall candle holders at 2.44, also the tall, square, open candle holder on the shelf below. Not antique but quite handsome, and the open holder is unique. What a store! I loved everything I saw as you were checking out the shelves, jam-packed with great stuff! I want all of it! There's a whole piggy collection there! I would ask for a big price cut on that Laurel Birch plate. Offer then two dollars. I am wondering, if I bought that plate for myself, would it be better to leave the damage as is, or could I attempt a repair?
