haha yeah I know right. Since I dot my ADD diagnosis I am more aware of when I'm just procrastinating or when my ADD brain is being annoying. takes a hell of a lot of self-reflection! haha
I've been there with the whole "Having a breakdown in front of your supervisor" thing. A couple of time, breaking down in tears in my supervisors office over the littlest things. Talking to my supervisor, and taking active steps to look after my mental health is one of the best things I've done for myself, and you, Joolz, were a big reason that I felt a little ok about talking to anybody about this kind of thing. So thanks for that! Don't go stressing about the time flying by - it's going to do that whether or not you stress. There are more important things in life than one's studies.
I'm about to start my PhD in a new country (I've never left my city) and I'm freaking out and excited at the same time. I love listening to you talk! Feels like I have a sister who's telling me what it's going to be like, so I can prepare myself. Thank you for making these videos!
I really loved this video! I'm year 2 of a 6 year part time phd whilst teaching for income. It's bloody tough! I have a mini viva coming up next week to discuss my work so far and critique basically... So I'm stressing out over that and it's all I can think of so once that's done I'm going to give myself some time off and then come back hopefully fresh minded and ready to carry on!
How do you handle your student stresses? Especially during exam season
joolzzenda procrastinating... not a very effective strategy
Yeah, there's definitely a fine line between procrastination and taking a break. I'm terrible at respecting this line :P

I really need to tell you about my experience with graduate school someday. It might take a while since I usually don't like talking about myself :p
Only share what you're comfortable with :)
Happens to us all, just real life interrupts in making videos
