I asked Dev Hynes from Blood Orange to direct a video for Uneventful Days. I've admired the originality and personal style of the clips that he’s made for himself and for others. I feel lucky to now share the piece he created with friends and collaborators... ‘Uneventful days, uneventful nights. Living in the dark waiting for the light. Caught up in these never ending battle lines. Everything has changed, nothing here feels right.’ Thank you Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood, Alia Shawkat and Dev Hynes.
Really like the beginning dreaminess of the music, your vocals, and the imagery. Love is what stops the "uneventful days, uneventful nights" and makes every moment more meaningful. The video is a perfect compliment to your music, Beck, and it rocks! Thank you for the aural pleasure only you bring to the world.

Right?! And it's always something just utterly cool but him. My friend who had never heard of him thought he was making a "comeback" and I delightfully informed her that Beck has always been around making music on his own terms and it's wonderful.
The genius of this song is that it touches on a nebulous sense of being lost, feeling uneasy, confused, and nagging doubts about a life without meaning. Those feelings are universal to everyone, at every age.
It also works in sequence with some tracks from Morning Phase, following the same key of G, it's interesting he can make quiet songs and upbeat songs in the same signature, would make for an interesting mix.
Beck, if you ever read this you need to know how much I appreciate everything you have created. Thank you for taking music to new places and allow me to go with you. Genius
This captures the void I felt when my mom passed away a year and a half ago. I think all of us mourn for a world we knew, the people we had in our lives. A beautiful song.

We went from "uneventful days" to "never ending days" where we are living in the dark, waiting for the light. Honestly. When I heard this song, I thought "Wow. My day just became eventful
It's got a Radiohead vibe, and I DIG IT!!
New Beck, time to pack the bong
@Michael Brodie Aww, come on, bongs never go out of style haha. But a hog leg with some crumbled hash sounds about right too.
Beck doesn't want you to do drugs
some weed is healthy...Enjoy

Beck is always evolving his music
Beck holding it great. The music is beautiful
Been loving Beck since he hit the scene. No one can touch him, in terms of diversity and talent. Obsessed forever and always... this song is just beyond gorgeous❤❤❤❤

New Beck, time to quit my job.
I quit my job blowin' leeves, telephone bills up my sleeve...

Ugh please don't call it fire, that's so unoriginal
I recognize Devil's Haircut and Loser, but I didn't expect Maeby Fünke to appear in the video 😁😁. Increíble video. Saludos desde Ecuador 😆😆
I've honestly loved this track since it appeared. It's something I find dreamy & yet real at the same time.
it's our boi beck getting sentimental
Since the beginning. Nonsense lyrics to self realization. I love this thesis of this man.
Oh my god. I don't know what to with all of the things I'm feeling right now.
When you're filming Westworld, but run into Beck at the dinner on your lunch break.
Wow, Beck... You did it again. You keep making incredible music and we appreciate it.
Thanks Beck for this Video. I used to live in Glendale, about 15 minutes S.E. of the Pink Motel. I used drive my 1941 Dodge Command Reconnaissance Car along San Fernando Rd. there for fun from time to time. This beautiful song is making me miss Home, and My friends I left behind. It is nice to see the Pink Motel and hear Your nice song.
The memories this video induces are sad but warm at the same time.
big david lynch energy tbh, i love it
Thinking about the Drive-in scene in Mulholland ? 😏
Awesome! And just saw that it has Tessa Thompson and Evan Rachel Wood! Two of the best actors!
When you realize that Beck dressed up the exact same way in Devils Haircut with the guy with the radio
*becks extended universe*
This is one of my favorite videos ever. The song touches my soul. It's perfect. I love how the girl is wearing the same outfit Beck wore in devil's haircut and walking around with the same boom box. Simply creative AF.
Another perfection in my life.
Not just the music, but the man. Beck is a minor miracle. What is it about this guy..
Does Beck ever actual eat or sleep? Seems like he never stops creating new music 💖
artist always feel like creating...its in the blood
@@mikeahuja i totally get that. Beck is such an amazing artist. One of the best!
new music .... lol
'We All live in a Capital 'I' - in the middle of the Desert, in the center of the Sky'
We're finally, through this singular vision, able to enter the lives and experience of those beings in that 'I' - So high in the....air!
Thank you for liking my page, support showed on me is unbelievable I hope you never stop believing in my career aspirations.
Fantastic song. I love the melody and the lyrics. One of my fave songs 2019!
Another great song in a series of great songs from Beck. I wish it was longer. Always feel a little let down when I realize the song is ending.
Living in the dark waiting for the light
