You gave a very detailed and extensive explanation; nicely done. When I have taught Hebrew, I have used the pictographic idea to help students learn a few beginning vocabulary words (like the way Aleph means "ox" and Beth means "house"), but I always point out this is similar to the way we teach the English alphabet to children by saying things like, "'A' is for apple; 'B' is for boy." It certainly is not a hidden code.
There’s one problem though. Bet does literally mean house in Hebrew. “A” does not mean apple in English. Your example is inaccurate. Foreign alphabets do not translate well into English for this exact reason. Ben means son in Hebrew; however this is not a Hebrew letter like bet. There’s crossover in some spots, yet not others. That is what Dr. Brown is missing. Words have multiple meanings. Head can mean the thing attached to my shoulders or a leader or the top of something. These multiple meanings do not negate each other. Chinese characters are not “letters”. The characters mean much more than letters used strictly for constructing words! Same in Hebrew. English is very different. English is derivative (Germanic via Latin and Greek) not native. We construct words via letters. These other languages do not (natively speaking). Modern versions added the letters later. Sorry but Dr. Brown missed the mark here. Although there may not be some code for pictographs, the Jews definitely ciphered their writings in their day for their own people. That’s a fact! Revelation 13:18 is a prime example. You want to tell me that’s not a cipher?! Please! How can you “calculate” the number of a man or a beast? Easy: numbers and letters were connected through Gematria, that’s how. Which is definitely a CODE!!! The evolution of communication systems is irrelevant. The meanings behind the images or the words are the most important thing. The words are not just the words as Dr. Brown wants you to believe. Otherwise, no one could decipher “the Word” in John 1:1 is actually referring to Jesus! You would not know that by simply reading the text!!!! You need inside knowledge in order to decipher or decode scripture. Yikes!
I think a better way to approach this is through the fundamentals of language which ultimately define and control the development and usage of language. So far you have largely focused on the visual instance which alphabets and pictographs. But it is difficult to build and expand language this way. This is why you hit a brick wall at 3000 or so elements. But the vast majority of language back then was vocal or auditory. The foundational element is the abstract language which defines how one thinks and instantiates the language into the visual, auditory and other instances. Next one has transient element which is how language changes over time and space (ie how your grandfather, father, you, your children speak) and space is how language changes as you move from one place to another which dialects. Next is non-verbal or body language. And we finish off with the cultural dimension which is too complex to approach here. So what they found was that using a multi-dimensional building structure was far more powerful. So first we define the two primary components of letters and then add vowels. This not only provides a regular pronunciation system which is easy to learn and master but can also add regularity, relativity, and almost infinite capabilities as you add more dimensions. As far as Hebrew goes it begins with 22 letters (5 finals came later with the transition in Babylonia to the Assyrian alphabet which is what we use until today and did not impact the vocalization). Also note that in other language the letters often do a pathetic job of guiding us in pronunciation (eg knife, gnat, psychology, etc.) In Hebrew this is not the case and it can be argued that each letter in Hebrew had unique pronunciation which is far more true for Ashkenazic speakers than Sephardic speaker than Yemenite speakers. But the additional dimensions of Hebrew totally blow away all other languages. In Hebrew the names of each of the letters have meaning. What is the meanings of X, Y, or Z in English? The Hebrew letters also have the dimension of value or Gematria. I can show you countless examples of hidden meanings connected to the letter names and values. (eg the primary words in the story of Noah were "water" and "flood" or "MAYIM" and "MABOOL". Note the mem at the beginning which derives from MAYIM or water. And how many days was the flood? The answer is 40 which is the number value of MEM. From here we ultimately build a regular system of word building and grammar (names, verbs, adjectives, etc. with roots connecting all of these instances) and letter classes, vowels driven by auditory instance, As Hebrew was being lost the Tiberian scholars came along and added the visual instance of the vowels (helping with pronunciation which was being lost) for the first time in 750-950 C.E. guided by Aharon Ben Asher and he also added the Trope or cantillation marks which added the cantillation dimension which was crafted after the hand signals that the Gabai (person who corrected the reader's mistakes) use to cue the reader of the "Biblical music system" also developed for singing the verses of the bible. The foundation of the Trope is regular but the instances of the 5 books of Moshe, the prophets, and Megillot each have their own personality built on the foundation (eg Song of Songs & Eclesiastes, Ruth, Esther, and Lamentations) and there are special variations for the High Holidays. There is so much more to Hebrew and the immense dimensionality which virtually no one knows. With the right knowledge and tools you would not believe the hidden secrets of Hebrew and the Bible. I have so many new discoveries that would truly amaze you.
I so agree with you. I believe it is the original language YAH spoke into existence from tje beginning. Language changed with the spearation of the peoples in Gen.10.
Dr. Brown, I have a couple of questions. Can you please go back in time with me. Was the Torah originally written in ancient pictographs? Had the pictographs become syllables only when the Torah was written? Also, exactly when and where did the ancient Hebrew pictographs go from picture meanings to syllables? Thank you! Where I'm going with this: IF I write something today, and I have a specific intention with the characters; then 500 years from now someone comes along and changes the symbols (to help themselves and others...and that is noble) THEIR CHANGES do not alter my original intent, characters, or interpretation.
Giving the Phoenicians credit for creating the writing system is like crediting your pizza delivery boy for crafting the fantastic pizza. He is just the delivery boy and does not deserve a tip.
"In Beginning" begins with "B" or "Beit" or "House" ----- we are all coming back to Father's House from our very prodigal ways. Restoration is happening, and then Messiah will return - Acts 3:21, Genesis 3:15 and Ezekiel 37 - Yahshua haMashaich, our Redeemer, is arriving soon to rule and to reign from Yeru-Shalayim: "Peaceful Flow." (It is interesting to note that Proverbs 31:10-31 is 22 verses which describe the Bride of Messiah, The Body of the One Who is the Word Made Flesh. Each of the 22 verses begin with a consecutive Letter of the Hebrew AlephBet from Aleph to Tau! Amazing. 22)
Biblical Gematria is a bit like when your pastor preaches a sermon and each points starts with the letter "P." It isn't actually a hidden message, but sometimes there is a theme. The genealogy in Matthew 1 is a little like this in which the author makes a big deal about the number 14 and the numeric value of the name "David" happens to also be 14. It is merely underscoring the idea that Jesus is the son of David (something that is already taught in the passage).
@@DrJohnStevenson thank you for the explanation. Very helpful. I have a friend who utilizes gematria with trying to discern worldly things that are happening. For example the box challenge that was going on. Looking into the number of boxes which was 24, then claiming that the reverse of 24 was 42, then somehow relating that to not only the story in the Bible where Elijah the prophet sick the bear on the young men that were mocking him (possibly because of how many children there were) and then also correlating it to the number for FEMA and ALLA (the Maltese transliteration of the Arabic). In all this claiming that the number 42 is a number of evil and calamity, while also proposing that because someone named their child Ana (which is also symbolized by the number 42) that they are essentially cursing their child. While in all this failing to realize that Allah wouldn't even be linked to the gematria number 42 if the original Arabic was placed in the calculator. And, that the number itself is not a cursed but the intention behind the heart of the person utilizing it. (Sorry for the long explanation)
@@DrJohnStevenson - again, wrong! Your examples are akin to an object lesson. Gematria was not that! Gematria was much more akin to Morse code (yet in letters and numbers, not sounds). A bullet point presentation with “letters” as emphasis is not a good comparison. The letters and numbers had a definitive connection in order to create a CODE! If you did not know the combinations via the “key”, you could not decipher the meaning. Come on man! Edit: again refer to Revelation 13:18. He who has what?! Wisdom! Let him what?! Calculate the number of the beast! Who had wisdom? The ones that had the Gematria “key”! Prove me wrong...
Zero academic support? *Etymology* Greek etymología “analysis of a word to discover its true meaning." Word history and evolution used to understand where a word came from how it changed and what it used to mean, the etymology. English has a lot of Latin and German for its etymology Biblical Hebrew has Pictographs as its etymology. "Letters not Pictures" I am sorry but a letter is just a picture and you can see how the pictograph changed and became the letter with a phonetic sound (and a number value) which is the main difference. "The major difference between pictographic and phonetic scripts is that while in the former the individual symbols represent ideas and objects, in the latter the symbols stand for sounds". Those Pictographic meanings/ideas didn't just disappear though the pictograph turned into a letter which means that letter has its own etymology it "cannot mean anything" it can mean what the pictograph it came from meant and that is all if there is five meanings for one picture than that is what that letter can mean as a Pictograph and as it was still familiar as pictographs at one stage when words started to be made they used pictures "letters" that had similar meanings Aleph (head, Ox, Leader) Bet (Tent, house) head house, Aleph Bet AB = Father aka the head of the house. A tiny bit of understanding reason and Logic and this is obviously not an issue and just like we use etymology to better understand words and usages there should be no problem using Hebrew pictographs as the etymology for Hebrew letters which became words. An example I used earlier today: consider Revelation 3:14 To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: *These are the words of the Amen the faithful and true Witness the Originatore of God’s creation* - Jesus (King) is the (faithful and true Witness) the Originatore of God's creation(Creator). He is - King, faithful & true witness, creator aka "God faithful King" And consider the meaning of the letters for Amen. Aleph: Head, Leader Mem: Waters (life source), Might Nun: Faithful, Kingship Head/leader of waters/might = God + Nun = God faithful/King. These are the words of God faithful king the faithful and true witness the orginatore of God's creation. The above sounds right to me. Someone said Amen means truly, let it be or so be it or I have faith in that. These are the words of so be it? These are the words of Let it be? These are the words of Truly/true? These are the words of I have faith in that? I think finishing a prayer with so be it, let it be or true might be a bit rude, ending with God faithful King might be more respectful & make more sense. Amen's usage can be used as agreement or affirmation not saying it cannot but usage and meaning don't always line up like they should.
"English etymology comes via Old French etimologie, ethimologie from Latin etymologia (which Cicero spells in Greek letters and glosses as veriloquium, Latin for “speaking the truth, conveying the truth”), a loan translation of the Greek etymología “analysis of a word to discover its true meaning."
@KliniacAttack It doesn't as snake is a symbol for sin and lies and since I was making a point and wanted it to be clear I left out that Nun means deceit also means miscarriage and miracle, you use context to derive meaning of a word or symbol just like we do today.
@KliniacAttack Seems you didn't read the original comment properly or you do not fully grasp/know what etymology is. All language is a code I hope you do not have too much trouble reading this code that we call English, if you don't have updated information about this English code you wouldn't understand it either. Here are some English words that use to mean something else: "Nice: This word used to mean “silly, foolish, simple.” Far from the compliment it is today! Silly: Meanwhile, silly went in the opposite direction: in its earliest uses, it referred to things worthy or blessed; from there it came to refer to the weak and vulnerable, and more recently to those who are foolish. Awful: Awful things used to be “worthy of awe” for a variety of reasons, which is how we get expressions like “the awful majesty of God.” From: Ted ideas Words are symbols and both do this, one word can have many meanings just as one symbol can. Nun's image has changed over time so has its meaning resulting in one symbol/letter having multiple meanings attached to it, it is no more a code than English is.
@hiddenrambo328 Thank you for your comment. We go to the first mention in the bible to find the original meaning of the word. Knocking that knowledge out from under this language debate seems.....ridiculous. In ancient documents you trust the earliest entries or copies available to be the most reliable, yet they just don't see it that way here.
@hiddenrambo328 There are with any word meaning in the scriptures a positive and the opposite meaning definition. One gives blessings, (the positive meaning) and the other curses(the negative definition). That is why context is important in understand the deeper meanings of The Word.
I have been looking and studying the calendar issues for 9 years, what was found in the DSS, has opened the door to the true Aaronic line and can be proved in scriptùre. The Zadok calendar is the best calendar I have seen. It keeps the seasons where they should be with a correction of no more than 6 days in any given year. The Moedim are on the same day of the week every year and never cross with the weekly Shabbat which is kept holy.
@@susangero-bond6527 there is no correction for the 1.25 day difference between the solar year and the 364 Zadok calendar. It will eventually be off. Also the Qumran community thought that they were the Zadok priesthood and that their teacher of righteousness was the messiah. They were wrong then and those today are wrong. Yeshua Messiah will choose His priests when He returns, just like Ezekiel 44 says He will. Satan is deceiving in these final days. I am convinced of this.
@user-ve7sc8xn2j The Zadok calender is self correcting every year. With the Hillel calendar, they add month to correct, which sometimes throw the seasons off. With the Zadok calendar the correction is never more than six days and it is calculated using the equinox as a starting point every year. The calender then starts on the following Weds. so as to never break the Shabbat cycle. As for the community at Qumran they were the decendants of Zadok. The priesthood was corrupted during the time of the Maccabees and the greek influence, later Rome. Eddie Chumney has done extensive research if you are interested. Shalom
@@susangero-bond6527 I know there is no changing your mind on this and really I’m not trying to. It’s clear to me, and I’m thankful. Evidently the Father has a plan in all this. I’ll continue to pray for His will to be done on Earth and for His voice to be heard by His. Another thing that is very clear to me is that many false teachers are out there and they are good at it.
@user-ve7sc8xn2j It is just strange to me that we go to the first mention in the Bible to find the original meaning of a hebrew word. We trust the earliest manuscripts more than the later ones and for good reason. So why the disconnect with this subject? If it was good enough for YAH to speak the world into existence, it's good enough for me.
Just started watching this - having delved into this quite a bit in the past - these IS value in defining words with pictorial Hebrew. However, going too far, it can get ridiculous. These are no hidden meanings. Derived meanings should be contextually obvious. There is, however, meaning behind the letters directly…and there are several cases where the definition of the root of a Hebrew word directly mirrors the pictorial definition. So when you say it’s 100% false, I disagree on the 100%. That’s hyperbole. It is generally false and dangerous though.
The Hebrews invented the Proto-Sinaitic script from Egyptian Hieroglyphs. Moses used this alphabet to write the Torah. Later, around 1,000 BC, that script had developed into the Paleo-Hebrew alphabet which the Phonecians borrowed from the Hebrews and adapted into the Phonecian alphabet.
@AtiShard16 lets go back even farther. What profession was Enoch? A Scribe. What does a scribe do but write things down. According to the book of Enoch ( more copies of Enoch were found in the DDS than Leviticus)🤔 , he gave all his writings to his son Methuselah, who died right before the flood. You can't tell me those writings didn't make it on the Ark. Noah was next in line. Gen. 10 recounts how that language was babbled by YAH which I guess is the beginning of the languages that have evolved to this day.
Does Dr Brown believe that: 1) sin is (not 'was') transgression of the Law? 2) that keeping the mitsvot is the whole duty of man (not just Jews)? 3) the the prayers of those who turn their ear away from hearing the Torah are an abomination? 4) that walking the same Way Yeshua walked is the means for testing whether we are in Him or not? 5) Adding to, or taking away from the Word is a sin? 6) The Tanach is the Will of God?
"All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." "13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. 14He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit." "15Brothers, let me put this in human terms. Even a human covenant, once it is ratified, cannot be canceled or amended. 16The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your seed, meaning One, who is Christ. 17What I mean is this: The law that came 430 years later does not revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to nullify the promise. 18For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise." "19Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the seed to whom the promise referred. It was administered through angels by a mediator. 20A mediator is unnecessary, however, for only one party; but God is one. 21Is the law, then, opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come from the law. 22But the Scripture pronounces all things confined by sin, so that by faith in Jesus Christ the promise might be given to those who believe. 23Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian."
@@hiddenrambo328 are you suggesting that the only motive for obeying the Law (repentance 1:John 3:4) is to justify one's self, rather than conforming ones image to the messiah (Rom 10:4)? Because putting that presumption of motive on somone is a massive red herring, particularly due to the fact that the litmus test for knowing if one is in Christ is if he walks the same way he walked (1 John 2:5-6).
@@hiddenrambo328 Yeah I agree with it all I just think you're implying a erroneous context as far as I can tell but without you saying either way there's nothing to talk about.

Woof, that was convoluted. Aleph = Power Mem = Chaos Tav = Monument My interpretation is that this word references a monument created to the powerful lord of chaos (a shrine to Satan). There is no definitive, scientific way to interpret words based off of their "original pictographic values." Very silly, eisegesis. It also smacks of confirmation bias. Or how do you interpret Revelation 13:18? It requires inside knowledge. Jesus spoke in parables, which was not literal language. Further study and knowledge was required to understand the meanings. To this day there are “evangelicals” that believe the whole Bible is delivered in literal meaning, which is ridiculous. The message is definitely coded, just not in the History Channel exaggerated sense, like ancient aliens. And that is what Michael is implying here. It’s not as far fetched as he’s making it out to be. The pictures do have meaning and are connected to the words and do give the text richer meaning.

Fact:Tav means Cross,Mark or Covenant.
Brilliant presentation which will save the Church from error!! Thanks Michael!

Amazing. 22)
Dr. Brown, can you speak on Gemetria?
Biblical Gematria is a bit like when your pastor preaches a sermon and each points starts with the letter "P." It isn't actually a hidden message, but sometimes there is a theme. The genealogy in Matthew 1 is a little like this in which the author makes a big deal about the number 14 and the numeric value of the name "David" happens to also be 14. It is merely underscoring the idea that Jesus is the son of David (something that is already taught in the passage).
exactly. He's critiquing the letter-based equivalent of numerology.
@@jwebbmealy thank you for the explanation as well.
An example I used earlier today: consider Revelation 3:14 To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
*These are the words of the Amen the faithful and true Witness the Originatore of God’s creation* - Jesus (King) is the (faithful and true Witness) the Originatore of God's creation(Creator).
He is - King, faithful & true witness, creator aka "God faithful King"
And consider the meaning of the letters for Amen.
Aleph: Head, Leader
Mem: Waters (life source), Might
Nun: Faithful, Kingship
Head/leader of waters/might = God + Nun = God faithful/King.
Here are some English words that use to mean something else:
"Nice: This word used to mean “silly, foolish, simple.” Far from the compliment it is today!
Silly: Meanwhile, silly went in the opposite direction: in its earliest uses, it referred to things worthy or blessed; from there it came to refer to the weak and vulnerable, and more recently to those who are foolish.
Awful: Awful things used to be “worthy of awe” for a variety of reasons, which is how we get expressions like “the awful majesty of God.” From: Ted ideas
Words are symbols and both do this, one word can have many meanings just as one symbol can.

Keep up the good work Dr Brown. The deception is great and sadly growing with calendars and Zadok priests.
@user-ve7sc8xn2j
The Zadok calender is self correcting every year. Shalom

Any examples ?
how can I contact dr. Brown? I have some questions.
Does Dr Brown believe that:
1) sin is (not 'was') transgression of the Law?
2) that keeping the mitsvot is the whole duty of man (not just Jews)?
3) the the prayers of those who turn their ear away from hearing the Torah are an abomination?
4) that walking the same Way Yeshua walked is the means for testing whether we are in Him or not?
5) Adding to, or taking away from the Word is a sin?
6) The Tanach is the Will of God?
"All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."
"13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. 14He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit."
"15Brothers, let me put this in human terms.
18For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise."
"19Why then was the law given?

Some people can’t handle the truth. Sad!
🤨 but speaking (babble/babbling in incoherent languages) in tongues is biblical?!
Both concepts are ridiculous
@@dillonreyelts6246 perhaps but gematria at least has a historical component that makes it a valid agreement to be had. I don’t believe it’s iron mic that you can use gematria to get a stronger idea of Gods concepts of the Hebrew language.
Mindless babble on the other hand isn’t biblical. The apostles spoke languages that the listener could understand… not assume they were having a seizure and understand their gargling as the Holy Spirit. Perhaps I’m biased and it just hasn’t happened to me but when I’ve seen it happening I paid attention for some type of understanding and then felt like I was lied to after the “experience”
@@godcarstoolsandfun4089 - or maybe speaking in tongues was actually people encountering a polyglot. And at that time had no idea how a foreigner could speak in their native tongue and not be from their area. So they interpreted that as divine; when in reality it had another explanation. Mainly that the person had studied other languages before the encounter took place. The way “evangelicals” or “pentecostals” interpret things drives me nuts! There’s always a better explanation. But they NEVER look for it. So they pretend and act out things they don’t understand.
@@godcarstoolsandfun4089 I like you point but what you call babble does have a place (Tower of babel, language confused you are babbling).
1 Cor 14:23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who are uninstructed or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your minds?
^If everyone does it in the church it will not be a benefit but
Condition 1
If anyone speaks in a tongue, two, or [at] most three, [should speak] in turn, and someone must interpret,
Condition 2
if there is no interpreter, he should remain silent in [the] church and speak [only] to himself and God.
Condition 2 says you can speak to God in tongues privately without interpretation
1 Cor 14:2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God. Indeed, no one understands [him]; he utters mysteries in the Spirit.
1 Cor 14:13 Therefore, the [one who] speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret.< Implication tongues are not a language understood by the speaker.
1 Cor 14:14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.
Confirmation that it is the spirit speaking not you thinking of sounds to make.
1 Cor 14:15 What then [shall I do]? I will pray with [my] spirit, but I will also pray with [my] mind. I will sing with [my] spirit, but I will also sing with [my] mind.
(Kept basic) You should pray both ways a thoughtful prayer through mind at one time and spirit lead prayer in tongues at another but never leading in prayer this way unless interpreted as stated in the next verse.
1 Cor 14:16-17 Otherwise, if you speak a blessing in spirit, how {can} [someone] who is uninstructed say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying? 17 You {may} be giving thanks well enough, but the other one is not edified.
So speaking this unknown spirit lead sound that no one knows is one type of tongues and speaking another language is another type of tongues both apply do not speak a unknown language in leading prayer unless it is interpreted so all can be edified.
Is speaking incoherent words bad? Not according to Paul!
1 Cor 14:18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.
1 Cor 14:19 But in [the] church, I would rather speak five coherent words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.
1 Cor 14:4 The [one who] speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but the [one who] prophesies edifies [the] church.
@@hiddenrambo328 great response. Lots to digest but very biblical exegesis that I’ll study too
God is Truth (אמת)
Aleph = Leader, El (God)
Mem = Water, Mashiach (Messiah)
Tav = Sign (Cross), Mark, Truth
"Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?" - John 18:37-38
Tav equals Truth because there is no lie in it.
Woof, that was convoluted.
Aleph = Power
Mem = Chaos
Tav = Monument
My interpretation is that this word references a monument created to the powerful lord of chaos (a shrine to Satan). There is no definitive, scientific way to interpret words based off of their "original pictographic values." Very silly, eisegesis. It also smacks of confirmation bias. "Well, we know that Jesus would show up later and he uses the Greek word for 'truth,' so the Hebrew word for 'truth' must have something to do with one of Christ's most important acts (his death)." Worst case scenario (which is a scenario not far off for those who believe this) is that one dives headlong into gnosticism. I like what Dr. Brown says, "for every interpretation that 'works,' there's 100 that don't work."
Those who believe this nonsense can make the Word mean anything they want. God doesn’t use some secret code.

I’m talking about code in it’s truest form and application. Computer code must be properly learned to decipher digital language. It’s no different for all other types of language; we must learn through interpretations before we understand the true meaning. Without the studying, you would be guessing.
Our whole life experience is a deciphering process. Mini revelations if you will. Hidden not in an insidious manner. Simply hidden in ignorance and later exposed to understanding.
I’m not speaking in a conspiratorial manner. I’m saying everything is foreign to us until we properly understand it. That’s the nature of things. Does God hide things and later reveal them? Obviously. That’s how the unfoldment of history works. Somethings we are not ready for. John 16:12.
I think we are simply talking over each other. I think we are close to saying the same thing. I’m simply not satisfied when people say there is no code, when evidently there is. DNA is a code. We understand it now better than the past. Our interpretations are getting better. That’s all I mean.

Michael is exaggerating here! Like he so often does. It must be his Pentecostal experiences getting the better of him. He’s broadly missing the point. He spent 50 minutes over explaining how we don’t use pictures today. Well duh!
God’s Word is encoded. How did you know that “the Word” in John 1:1 was referring to Jesus?!
American evangelicals don’t understand Hebrew language nor culture. Modern or ancient. Therefore, how can they truly say they understand scripture?
