Best part of this video are the Top Siders. I have been wearing them since my college days in the late70s. And my Dad wore them before that. TPM putter is Ok; boat shoes are GOAT.

Inexpensive and practical. Not your Scotty. Love it. No nonsense

I just picked up a TPM 5 putter at a thrift store barrel of clubs and did not know what a a TPM meant until I got home but right away it felt so good when it was at address. I have a Spalding Walter Hagen T-3 clam mallet putter that I picked up today at the same store

It was always great on 20-30 foot putts. TPM #7.

I appreciate your philosophy on golf equipment. That’s why I play my old Ben Hogan irons and my Ping Anser or my Bullseye.

I have a tpm 1 that is the Roman numeral and I love the feel and control.

I have that exact putter and agree that it's amazing! The original finish over the carbon steel was black oxide (which wears over time) . You can buy a black oxide kit from Caswell plating to make it look like new!
PS- did you ever test the Harvey Penick Classic Player irons? They were a Tom Wishon/Harvey Penick collaboration - I still have a set and have yet to find a blade style iron that feels as good.....

Really like this shape. A more modern version may be the ZB

I have several TP Mills putters, 3 Spaldings and 1 Mizuno, I currently have the Mizuno in my bag. They are great putters, I rotate it with my Pings at times. I have a Cleveland Classic Ken Giannini designed in the flanged blade style also a great putter, a Maxfli Tad Moore flanged blade style also great,a Ray Cook Blue Goose flanged blade style all are great affordable putters. Thanks Vintage Golfer for another video.

I gamed that exact putter for about a season a couple years back. It’s so solid I love it still

Found that very model at the dump. Someone leaned it on the fence for the taking. Needs a new grip but I'm curious to try it now that I see this

I played 18 today with my TPM 3 in the bag today. Big fan of the T P Mills putters

I will tell you as someone who does score pretty low, I have a 100 year old driving 2 iron in my bag permanently. Also have used 100 year old hickory clubs seriously and have shot pretty well with them. Just as well as new clubs, it's about how you hit it not the club lol
The TP Mills is great tho

Call me crazy. TP Mills putters are the first modern putter.... Carbon Steel and marking where the center of gravity is. Karsten and TP paved the way for Scotty.

I pulled mine out and held it while I was watching the video. Mine had the original TPM rubber grip, but it's worn and slick. Wish I could find a replacement with the original grip shape. It's not in the bag right now, but might return soon.

I have a 33" (might even be 32") TPM languishing in the garage somewhere with a host of other putters, must get it out and give it a go again.

First started playing golf in 1982 with a TMP 3 putter. I gave it away in 1990 when a relative was getting into golf. It was okay, but nowhere near as good as the Slotline 9814C that replaced it in 1985 (I have 3 of them) that it is still the putter I play with 98% of the time (the other 2% of the time I use my Ping Zing 2 BeCu).

I had one and loved it. I wonder what I did with it?

This design, similar to the ping zb, odyssey 3 etc...., was it created first by TP Mills?
