Peter Pan being a villain in the movie reminds me when they made Scrappy-Doo the antagonist in the first live-action Scooby-Doo movie. At least with Scrappy-Doo, I could understand the joke behind that since people used to despise that character. Making old, washed-up Peter Pan the villain is such a bizarre choice, and when you take into account the original voice actor’s life story, it’s borderline criminal that they pulled this shit.

I find it incredible that there are people who defend this movie saying things like "I think people doing the film didn't knew about the Peter Pan voice actor." Disney...Disney, anyone in Disney knew about Bobby Driscoll, the child actor their studio exploded for years in multiple movies... The one that had a close relationship with Walt Disney himself, the one they wouldn't accept in the studio specifically after his last role as Peter Pan...and coincidentally Peter Pan's problem is the same as the actor's, they used him and discarded him like garbage for the same thing, they been doing this film since 2014 and no one ever discussed it in the process...poor Disney, they didn't know, it's clearly an accident, of course, the multi-billion dollar studio that owns everything with the ability to hire so many writers, directors, and experts in the animation and film medium in general is the real victim of this controversy. But keep defending a garbage movie in denial because you think you can't get anything better from Disney of all things. And yes, Dale looks like shit.

A good fammade sequel: Roger and a new detective now own Valiant detective agency, the film not only properly animates its characters, but is shot alike the Office (adding new innovation), the plot is about a corporate Giant (alike Zazlav) doing evil stuff to their workers- animated AND live action (maybe throw in the Dip or an evolution of it for digital ink).

Between those movies and Chip n' Dale-- and call me crazy-- I legitimately believe that Hollywood is well aware that they treat child stars like sh💩t and love making fun of them for it.
By the way, the villain from Cats don't Dance is supposedly inspired by Shirley Temple and while she was one of the few child stars that didn't end up crazy, she still endured a lot of messed up stuff.

Darla Dimple was based on Shirley Temple. Granted, she had a tough life after puberty, but Darla's characterization was based on an old joke about Shirley really being a surly dwarf pretending to be a sweet kid. They made that joke because they found her persona _too_ cute and therefore annoying. Also, the character was still a kid while the real person had long grown out of that persona, which she also hated, so I doubt she was very offended by it.
