S550 Mustang 2015+ Super 8.8 Complete Rebuild (Coyote Swap Datsun)

Rebuilding the 50k mile 2016 mustang gt super 8.8 and changing from 3.15 gears to 3.55.
This is going into my 72 Datsun coyote swap car.

I normally don't work on other peoples cars. What gear ratio are you wanting to change to?

I’m currently doing it myself now , I’m just having trouble figuring out what the pinion depth should be . I went from a 3.55 to a 4.09

@Esxgt you should be able to use the stock shim and be fine. Always check with the contact pattern, if the pattern is good you shouldnt have any problems. If you want to do it the other way you'll have to purchase a pinion depth tool kit. Some kits can be pretty expensive.
