So many memories! I rode the Transfagarasan 1985 on my MZ ETZ 250 on a trip from East Germany to Bulgaria. Packed with camping gear, spare parts and food for weeks. There weren't any cars in the Romanian countryside, only in Bucharest. They finished paving the road 1980, so the asphalt was like new, almost untouched for the lack of traffic. This was my first time riding on a high mountain road since we people from the GDR didn't have access to the Alps. What a trip! Thank you for sharing this.
Transfagarasan: a fairy tale for any motorcycle rider! What a great privilege to drive on this epic road. Congratulations Pavlin and many thanks for sharing such a wonderful video!
One of my dream routes, it is always nice seeing people enjoying the trip around this great curves and landscape. Another great video Pavlin, greetings from Greece!
@@motorcycleadventures I like very much Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo in your country! You are doing a great job! You are a marvelous man! Thanks a lot once again!
As modern technology to building the road is likely to as possible as straight to minimise the distance. Where bridges , tunnel used to minimise the distance. Due to this, we lose our joyous riding day by day as seen in the video, curved road, beautiful scenery. Thanks brother
Just beautiful my man !! Happy for you! I am born Romanian but I never had a chance to se the Transfagarasan ! 😞. I leave in Calgary Canada now , quite fantastic roads here as well. Maybe one day you wanna see the famous Rocky Mountains . Biker community is big here , just let us know and we can Ofer you a unique time here ! 🙂👍🏻
Definitely on my bucket list, I think it's been said already, the video is awesome and the drone footage is amazing. Fantastic the weather held for you.

Romanian Carpathian Mountains are fantastic. Being Romanian I am a bit biased, but for a motorcyclist it is heaven. Lots of passes, great scenery, lots of wildlife, especially bears. Try not to camp in the mountains:))
Carpathians are well knows as the last true wilderness in Europa. Hopefully Romanians going to realize what a unpolished diamond they have and preserved it that way.
Its amazing for me how you navigate in a foreign country without a gps! Amazing video once again. This channel needs more subscribers and views so our friend Pavlin can travel more and keep making these amazing videos!
Of all the things I miss from Europe, it's the twisties. Live in Canada now, a few good ones in the Rockies and Trans Canada Highway in Northern Ontario but, for the most part..... wide, straight and as much fun as a trip to the Dentist. Love the videos, especially during Covid.
Nice one, glad that I am able to see the country from your perspective and also to connect the events from the next days of our meeting. Greetings and look forward to the next ones!
Excellent coverage of a beautiful location! I’ve watched a number other TH-camr’s videos of the same road and I think you have done the best job showing how awesome it is! Thanks!

For those interested in doing this road, pay attention that this was not busy at all, usually the queue of cars waiting to get on top ends up being kilometers long and you can't move even with a bike. Ideally come during the week and maybe outside the summer break :D
Hello... where is it better to start the transfagarasan route??? North or South.....??? Where did you go up??? my idea is after doing transfagarasan is to go to Brasov...
@@motorcycleadventures I was not criticising. But of all the things I consider I need gps probably comes near the top of my list. Riding solo between towns/cities not so much. But in a large unfamiliar city they are a huge time saver - especially travelling alone with no friend to welcome you. And when a road closure, or diversion, send you into unknown places and you need to make a destination on time Knowing exactly how far, and where, to the nearest petrol will get you out of trouble Invaluable
You said in a precedent episode that you didn't like a production plant and you were blaming on the communists stupidity. Well, Transfăgărășan was made by communists too.
