Thanks for the shoutout brother 🙏 Definitely wouldn't have expected her str growth to be so low, so glad you've informed me for when I use her in my casual playthrough
Still not as surprising that Boucheron's muscles are all bulk, and almost no actual Strength. Although, the rest of his growths and base stats alongside the Might of Axes does make him more suited to sticking with Axe Fighter than most other options realistically available to him.
I really wish I had known about this strat before I went past Chapter 11 on my playthrough... If you go past that point and haven't already given Anna Staff and Tome proficiency from Micaiah, you're strapping yourself in for a LOT of chapters until you can change her class to High Priest.
its a relatively short game. Skip cutscenes and you can make it back to where you are much faster than your last run. Especially with the given hindsight of managing your resources better.
Yeah, it's slightly annoying to do if you don't prep for it early, kind of why this video was a bit necessary to get out as soon as I realized the stuff needed to get it rolling
@@LinkKing7 I'm gonna try to shoot for it in the endgame of my Hard playthrough, but this is definitely a tip that I'm gonna carry into Maddening and immediately invest in her lmao
I just gave her luck +12 and hp/luck +8 and called it a day. I went with fighter, warrior and then mage knight to make use of the FE Heroes gear. Gave her a hurricane axe for smash/anti air. And fire 3. End of the day. Anna's Luck growth is crazy high enough that if you spam enough level ups. (in this case 60). Odds are good she'll get high luck no matter what. Beef up with inherited skills that raise luck and voila.
This is what I'm possibly considering. Was originally gonna take her to Axe Mage Knight, since that just sounded fun, but then I liked the idea of a Warrior with Radiant Bow and Hurricane Axe. We'll see as I go along, might still move her over into Mage Knight. Though I'm worried about how she'll perform with Hurricane Axe, if she doesn't get enough Build to avoid getting doubled with it...
I'd argue that it's better to stick with Axe fighter for the few levels it takes to reach 10, then promote and second seal to Sage or whatever you want at that point. Micaiah makes the grind for those few levels much more bearable at least, and in the long run this means more time spent in a promoted class with higher growths, as opposed to having to spend an entire 10 levels in the T1 classes.
I was hearing that today actually, but I was thinking that the 9 levels in Mage/Monk might be more beneficial to the magic potential in the long run to make her kill things faster. In the short term sure, you get the boost earlier, but idk, I'd have to redo the math on that one and see how it balances out.
@@johnymcmuffins7898 they are only set on Maddening and the growths still matter because they are set based on what you would have on average based on growths.
@@LinkKing7 mage has like 1 more magic if we give them both the same internal level on average, is probably better to promote from fighter tho because is faster to level up 5 levels than 9 and you get the promo gains way faster
@@LinkKing7 Coming from Maddening, a couple great sacrifices is all it needs to get her from 5>10. But going all the way from 5>1>10 might delay her a chapter or two, and make her hog more EXP that could be going to others. I'm on team stick with the Axe till 10
If you do have the DLC, Tiki is also capable of turning Lady Anna into a nearly unkillable monster if you go the dodgetank route so you can solo skirmishes with just Lady Anna. Marth's Avoid+20 (or +25 if you really want to make sure she dodges) plus a Luck+10 skill from either Tiki, Byleth, or Eirika, with an Elthunder with Celica brand equipped can make it so Lady Anna has a ton of Avoid so you can drop her on a fort or tree in a skirmish and then just repeatedly end turn. Elthunder ensures that other Thunder or Longbow Corrupted can't just camp her and thanks to Tiki, Lady Anna regens 20-40 HP by using the Wait command depending on Bond level. This is definitely harder to accomplish smoothly on Hard/Maddening where stuff can hit harder, so she may need some assistance there rather than soloing.
In maddening , you can change her to griffin knight after max her mag stat as magic knight , equiped her with levin sword , avoid + 30 , pair up, byleth ring for max luck or tiki for more tank then watch her solo skirmishes for gold at highest difficult level even in end game.
Ngl I completely forgot about Anna’s personal for most of the game, and I wish I invested in her luck a bit more. Anna is my team’s strongest unit, I kept her as an Axe unit and I gave her Edlegard, so having higher luck for extra money would have been nice. I think this is my favourite incarnation of Anna she is so entertaining
Even though I don't have any super spoilery characters there, I did it just in case so people who are more blind on the game have a purer experience! I try to be as spoiler free as possible in my content near the release of the game and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
wow there's a lot of good information here that will help me play the game more efficiently! and I love your anna thumbnail. she's my favorite character. I'm going to share this video with my friends. I'm sure it will help them as much as it helped me!
And if you are playing very casually with no rush, now that the well is a thing, you can spend a good 6600 sp to get both the Byleth and Tiki luck skills on her, which is exactly what I'm going to do.
Nice In depth guide and hoping you keep coming up with more strats. Just started my first run and thankfully can avoid alot of mistakes thanks to u. Thankfully I'm familure with all fire emblem games so haven't made much so far but money was something I noticed as being on the low side.
It was so funny getting the military funds and blowing it right away not knowing the game is kinda stingy with extra funds, this will definitely be useful
Intelligence System and Nintendo clearly intended to monetize Fire Emblem so much, if you look at the Amiibo content there's music and outfit unlocks and stuff locked behind the ticket paywall. The Engage weapon is locked before the whole Tempest Trial and Relay Trial gate keeping. The design of gold being so scarce, and donation being a double edged sword to make you lose all that gold so you might get frustrated and go down the route of buying the DLC for more firepower and getting Tiki for Anna in order to do a 'gold farm' meta... Enemies scales to your highest level characters, even the new ones that joined. Vander for instance starts at your base level and levels slowly throughout the entire time, but raising his level also raises your game's scaling in correlation.
whether they INTENDED to monetize this game or not ... theyre failing/ failed at it. most ppl already finished the game or will finish it soon and even if they add some "gold bonus" dlc or whatever , most ppl wont even bother with it. This is is a single player game and if they wanted to capitalize on their lil greed they should have released all that on day 1. (dont get me wrong tho i do NOT condone all this nonsense.. just an observation)
Before going into the nitty-gritty of numbers, I decided to have her final class be Thief and then use Leif with her. His Light Brand (Engage Weapon Lvl 15) grants Lck+10 and has 1-2 range, and for Covert units his Quadruple Hit Engage Attack adds another 1k Gold drop based on luck. But in the end that is like one more trigger a battle, so it's barely worth it and she misses out on many KOs and therefore trigger chances with the daggers.
Well I want my first playthrough to be mostly blind, so I've been choosing to not look up growths. But seriously, an axe fighter that you're supposed to reclass to mage? Completely bonkers.
@@Exalosia But Y though? Especially when Anna is a merc or a thief/trickster (thief with a staff) in most games. You'd think they'd at least hand out second seals earlier in the game and have a tutorial on stat growths. I really wish Nintendo would just flat out have a section in the game where a character just says "honestly I always wanted to be a mage instead of a fighter or vice versa" instead of just lightly implying that certain characters would be better if they got reclassed based on their growths.
there's something fitting about Anna really wanting help from tiki as a) pay to win, merchant, etc, and b) she was her only non-robin support in awakening
My warrior Anna was actually a beast late game with a killer axe and that magical bow that benefits with people with high magic. There were times where it felt like every kill got her skill to activate netting me gold. I will definitely try this out though in future replays of the game however. I've seen so many videos saying the same things you are about making her some kind of magic user asap.
I probably won't do this, but appreciate the video as I do have gold issues as I thought I would be getting gold more frequently after the first few maps and have not been doing the skirmishes nor using Anna.
I gave her a levin sword +5 and engraved, shes a lvl 6 swordmaster, swordmaster has 2nd highest luck cap and the sword takes advantage of her mage and ranged counterattack. Growth rates really dont matter because you can keep resetting their level.
In terms of practicality and getting her online asap without dlc, you should aim to get her to level 10 in axe fighter by the end of chapter 8 and immediately reclassing into sword griffon knight, getting her to sword power 3 before chapter 10. It's such a better combat class and can fly, and you're only missing out on 15% luck growth. Also, don't bother with luck+, you'll need speed+ 90% of the time instead, and it's just not worth the sp.
Okay here me out for some infinite money What you need Anna as high priest (preferably high def and res) Micaiah Ring with nosferatu (only if Def and res low) Celicas paralogue available Start paralogue, only bring main character and Anna Put Anna in the Trees with a 2 or 3 range tome WAIT Seriously just wait, they will constantly spawn new enemies If you advance too far Celica will warp and Anna will kill her I did this for 3 hours on waiting and left with enough money to make full donations and buy every item, weapon, staff and seal I could ever need
Oh dang... I think I might just do this. It'll break the game, but hey, I was planning to do some heavy gold farming for donations and forging anyway xD Guess this kinda just streamlines the process.
I REALLY tried to make Anna work, but I went in completely blind and had no idea she functioned better as a mage. I was using her clear up until she was promoted with garbage stats and SPD still under 10. I never got the skill to activate even once.
Before finishing the watch, here is your comment. Happy to get a video* like this since I made the exact mistake of investing in regions early too, boo
Do I need to spend 2500 SP to keep luck +12 from inheriting? You mentioned at 9:36 that you get luck +12 just equipping the ring. I don’t see that bonus anywhere.
Just recently got my Anna built up without DLC but due to me not teaching her Tomes, I actually started mine as a Thief for that extra Avo as a Covert unit and eventually promoted her to the next best thing the Wolf Rider who gets 55 Max Luck. Did the same with the Byleth strat for Luck (which you just need + 8 really as you tested) but I also gave my Anna Corrin's Pair Up skill as well so that Backup units can't hurt her at all, therefore once she gets way up there, nothing can now stop her. When grinding her up originally, I just chose maps with terrain on it and tried to take out any problematic units when I could and also fed her Luck Incenses for a little extra boost. Now my Anna is technically LV 60 and no one can hit her even in the open and the dagger I have on her can kill everyone in due time.
I would argue Griffin Knight is a better class for Anna. Specifically sword or Lance depending on which you need more, but sword is better on a unit-per-unit basis. Griffin Knight has the second best luck in the game, is mounted, is flying, and since you're spending 10 levels in axe fighter, makes use of those str levels she got. You still keep staff access anyways, so give her a levin sword/flame lance and a griffin and she'll do just as well
Her luck won't grow as fast, but sure, it's also a good class and if you don't mind the lower proc chance or progression of the build you can most certainly do that. She also won't be as strong as a killing machine because even sword and lance are sub par for her with her wet noodle strength.
The same emblem abilities don't stack which is why you didnt get 24 luck, but if you use Erica for the plus 10 it should go to 22... Woow 2 more... Lol not even sure though... Maybe it does just cap at 20
I wish I watched this guide before building Anna, at least my Anna build wasn't too far off. Just your guide is more optimized. BTW, I have no problem making Anna my best unit. Money too good.
Alrighty then! This is definitely something I’ll do on my next playthrough since I’m still on my first and I’m past chapter 11. So time to go full budget mode on this until I’m able to grind for cash (no DLC so far). My Anna is still an Axe Fighter and I had plans to turn her either into a Wolf Knight or a Bow Knight.
I just went with a warrior class for her because I'm playing the game full blind, and she is horrible as a melee unit but she became one of my best archer, so kudos
I got anna to Lvl 10, first master sealed her to warrior, gave tome prof. And second sealed her to Sage. Gave her tiki, Bolganone+3 and a weight reduction engraving. She one rounded most enemies, doubling them and literally made me shit ton of money while doing so, plus her crits dialogue are absolutely hilarious.(biggest reason why Anna is a good unit) "NO WINDOW SHOPPING"
I went into mage knight with her and gave her ivy’s ring for alcatricity and speed. I then paired her with a high avoid wolf knight (Merrin) with the lucina ring so dual guard had 100% proc rate, and the high avoid meant that enemies didn’t target Merrin. You can then just leave anna with bolganone in the middle of the field and let her kill everything and also be immune to damage, you get slightly lower luck from not equipping byleth or eirika but when there are so many enemies in the late game you can just leave her to destroy one half of the map and make a great amount of cash while the rest of your squad deals with the other half normally.
I’d reclass her into a healer, give her the tiki bracelet. and that will give her good stats per lv up. Afterwards promote her into a magic user since her magic is better than her physical attack.
Anna as a Solo Thief with Corrin Emblem is the safest Method. She will never get hit unless there are Mystics in the area and even then it will be rarely and with the Luck+ Skills she will also hit at least 51 Luck
I have been running Anna only when I need money. Her inherit skills are Luck +12 and Luck/HP +10. Since having a Byleth/Tiki emblem equipped doesn't appear to do anything further for her luck, I gave her the Chrom S-ranked ring. This is getting me up to 64% chance to proc.
I don’t have the DLC, but now I want it.☹️ UPDATE! My Anna's a High Priest and I learned that stacking her luck is not a good idea. I gave her HP/Lck +10 and Lck +12!
If you somehow manage to get 4900 SP on Anna and feel like resetting to get an S rank Chrom bond ring, you can actually get the trigger rate up to 64%. Get Byleth's Luck +12 and Tiki's HP/Luck +8 inherited onto Anna to get the +20 from skills without requiring a ring. Ths leaves room for equipping the S rank Chrom bond ring which increases the trigger rate of all skills by 5%. It takes quite a bit more effort, and probably isn't worth investing in aside from meme purposes, but it's still an option.
Hi, I really appreciate your guide. But can you help please. I’m trying to follow the initial steps - to inherit magic -and staff proficiency. I have bond level 10 with micaiah and Celica and while in the ring reference it shows the proficiencies at lvl 3 &9 when I go to inherit skill the proficiencies aren’t shown. Not sure what is going on. Please help?
absolutely dog-brained idea to lock money generation behind a single character, make her default class pretty bad for her scaling, and surprise the player by locking away the ability to switch to her optimal class for a third of the game while introducing two money-based systems into the game.
I didn’t have the tiki emblem, but I got her to high priest and inherited +10 luck. Gave her Olwen S ring and thunder+5 to double, She kills more consistently. Worked like a charm.
by the way, the reason the byleth ability didn't double is because you can't overlap. the game will tell you that inherited skills won't work if you're wearing the ring you inherited them from, so the +12 from byleth would be better if you paired it with Lyn or Tiki
Some skills dont stack, and some do. The skills that give you stats or avoid or things of that nature do stack, but skills that give you actual abilities usually dont. The game will tell you which skills stack in the inherit skills menu.
If you're on normal or hard Anna has a luck cap of 35 on wolf and swordmaster is 38 so may be worth making her that over over high priest just letting you all know. BTW not including emblem sync stats and emblem skills inherited so you could prob get way more combining those too.
I found griffon knight for endgame is better because while you lose 3 max luck you become mush faster at 50 max speed as opposed to 33 but also much stronger by being able to switch between physical and magic damage if you choose the lance option which is by far the best of the 3
restart the game lol /cough Question, what difficulty are you on? if you're on hard/normal, just throw her in the arena training after each skirmish. if on Maddening, restart the game lol.
@@d0tc0mmie yeah on HM, bond her up to learn staves, class change her to a healer, then do skirmishes and let her heal every turn if at all possible and toss her in the arena 3 times after each skirmish, you can have her catch up pretty fast that way.
You can definitely do this late game, I just cleared chapter 19 and did all this stuff from scratch for this video. So if you push to then, you can mimic everything I did and put her in a staff class if you have the DLC. Otherwise she can still be reclassed into mage, or use bond ring skills like Great Sacrifice or the Byleth dance to level slowly to 10
Afaik star sphere does not add any flat % chance of levelling up a stat. It just re-rolls every stat that didn't grow once, just like jean's character passive
@@LinkKing7 By taking a closer look at the BLD stat. If you put Tiki on Boucheron and reclass him to a swordfighter. He should have a 35% chance to increase BLD, provided Star Sphere gives a flat 15% boost, so roughly 3 lvls should raise BLD by 1, statistically speaking. But that just doesn't happen, it's much rarer than that. This gets even more pronounced if you put tiki on Jean and make him a berserker. He would have a 30% chance twice per level, which would cause his BLD to rise even faster, but that too doesn't happen. Thus it is more likely to just be an inheritable jean passive, rather than a flat boost.
I did a very similar strat, except her final Emblem pairing was with Leif as a Thief so she could get the covert Lck% chance of gaining 1000G everytime she uses Quadruple Hit. If I did it over again, I might make her a Sniper with Radiant Bow + everything else I did before. Her Str was so high due to Tiki's Starsphere that I didn't even need to put her in a magic class tho, she was by far my best unit, even with all the favoritism I showed Zelkov haha. Keep in mind this was on Normal since I'm smooth brain.
Would there still be a cap on +20 luck if used the +hp/luck inhereted instead of just +luck? I thought it didnt let you use skill with the same exact name so inhereted hp/luck and just paired her with byleth
On Enchanter she can have a higher percentage to proc her Skill "Make a Killing" Here are her Max stats Plus Inheritable's Hp/Lck +10 Lck +12 HP: 53 (+10) 63 Bld: 11 Str: 25 Mag: 26 Dex: 44 Spd: 40 Def: 18 Res: 21 Lck: 43 (+20) 63 You just need an Emblem to help her one shot enemies
I felt like you compared unfairly, as you only considered the martial monk to have tiki, and not mage as well. the mage class against the martial monk class. Having Starsphere helps all classes, so why wouldn't we do mage or sage with tiki? Her luck, magic, and build still scale well, but she can either use tomes during base class or use advanced tomes (bolg., excal., thoron) on sage. Isn't this better killing potential?
I think it would be best to promote Anna from axe fighter first, and *then* second seal her into whatever class you want. Advanced classes have the better growths overall, and you don't have to bother getting her to level 10 again to reclass like you would if you put her into a base class like mage or martial monk. Those are just my two cents though, personally I made Anna an armor knight and I don't regret it one bit lmao
My anna is immortal as a sage, paired with byleth and inhereted tiki max muck so she has 51 luck right now. At level 13 sage she already has 37 magic, 31 speed, 27 dex...105 avoid. I gave her starsphere which guarentees 100% magic growth each level...just micayah her to level 10, second seal to mage and master to sage. Shes just ridiculously strong that i can easily farm gold by only having her delete the entire map averaging anywhere from 3 to 8k each time in just a few turns.
For highest chance once you farm enough sp for it would chrom s rank be the best ring for lady anna for money purposes? If you can afford tiki's hp + luck skill to +8 and byleths luck +12 thatll give you the 20 cap and chrom's s rank skill adds a flat 5% chance to all skills so at max that would give lady anna 64% procc chance over 59%
So here's the funny thing. I'm only on Chapter 10, and I kept Anna as an Axe user, she's currently level 15. I saw this video and thought, well I'm obviously going to do this now and I checked her stats. She has 6 in magic. So for 50% growth potential in magic, she didn't get any for many levels.
@LinkKing7 Thats good to know, but I did as your excellent video suggests. She is now a martial monk with Tiki. Thank you for the advice and keep up these excellent videos
You can only have +20 increase on top of your base Stat cap. So even if you have Luck +12 and Byleths emblem and a luck tonic. You will not go past the 20 restriction.
you use her as mage knight , right ? mage knight lck capped at 25 . you need to reclass her as high priest or griffin knight to maximize her luck growth.
I know this is old, but I just don't know why they didn't just do DLC money/exp/material maps. like did they really not want players to want to grind up, I understand wanting to challenge the player but don't force it on them, that was mainly my issue of why are the skirmish maps scaling with your strongest unit
It’s frustrating that Nintendo locked the Tiki bracelet behind a $30 paywall. It’s no different than what Ubisoft did w/ Assassin’s Creed. I’m not the biggest fan of DLC in general, but I refuse to pay extra just to combat a feature that game devs baked into the gameplay for the purpose of selling the DLC.
I'm more mad about them doing that with the Silver Card. I hate that you have to pay real money to get in game discounts. The Silver Card used to be a mid/late game item and it felt awesome knowing that you earned it.
It's going to be annoying for sure, but you also need to give people who bought the DLC a reason to feel validated in their purchase somehow. I'm hoping the extra story they add as well as teh other bracelets will make the DLC worth getting for everyone, but for now I'd wait if you're on the fence. I got it because I know I'll be making videos and covering it eventually but yeah, that's not the case for everyone for sure.
@@LinkKing7 Yea, but that’s one of the main problems I have with DLC. It’s become this marketing tactic to keep certain things behind a paywall just to make that extra money. I’m fine with DLC when it comes from an honest place. A lot of indie devs release their games, not knowing if they’ll make any money off it. And when it hits it big, they put that money back into creating more content bc it’s their passion project. Even the BOTW devs seemed like they were responding to the overwhelming reception they received and decided to continue implementing ideas they had after release. But a lot of Nintendo games are pure marketing. They’ll release a half finished product and have the rest be paid DLC. Engage doesn’t feel half finished. But it’s definitely a marketing ploy to keep the Tiki bracelet locked behind a paywall. Especially considering the content was ready Day 1. It’s also annoying that you have to buy in to the full thing blind. Tell me what I’m getting in advance if you’re gonna make me pay $30 for four installments over the course of two years. The whole thing is just gross the way it’s being done
Since the bonus Luck seems to be capped at +20, can you get to that without an Emblem, and instead attach the Chrom S-Rank bond ring for the extra 5% additional skill proc chance? It would probably require you investing a lot of SP in Byleth’s +12 Luck and maybe Tiki’s +HP/Luck skills as well.. but hey, 5%.
I prefer to have Anna with Corrin's Pair Up (blocks chain attacks) and Byleth's emblem and his Luck +12. This reaches her cap of 59 and she can solo any map. Especially if she's placed on a healing or avoid tile.
That's Lady Anna to you! XD. I'm restarting my maddening run and see if I can make Anna the casino machine 🎰 . Not sure if I should to lower down to causal instead of perma death. >_>
it's honestly not that hard, Anna snowballs really fast. She has the best growths in the game, so the moment she starts gaining levels as a magic class, she'll decimates.
Just to clarify what you said at 6:44 - is it possible to go from Mage to High Priest? I thought it needed Lvl 10 Martial Monk? I have Tiki and set Anna up as a Mage to make kills easier based on the video but it seems like I may have to second seal her again🥲 Am I missing something?
Correct, you need Martial Monk level 10, but if you go to Sage, you can second seal over to High Priest as long as you have the necessary proficiencies!
My question is if it may be better to put anna in a more survivable class that can be on the front lines, thus getting more kills. Perhaps swordmaster, with levin sword? I'm wondering what the give and take would be, if that makes any sense. In my situation Id be using skirmishes, and grinding would be of no consequence- I'd want to be able to have a class as potent or at least *nearly* as potent as Aleir is, being able to kill hordes of enemies and stay alive. Of course, that may not be possible... *without the recent DLC, of course! Cha Ching! $* Would a soren build similar to the jean one be viable for anna too? If so, she'd be able to clear an entire skirmish by herself or at least almost by herself.
I play without the dlc and i don't have byleth yet but after invest, money/xp/ressources and 3 second seal, my Anna (Mage) has technically 60 lvl on her stats, i choose Avoid +20 (Marth) and Tome precision 3 (Celica) for her inheritable skills before chapter 10. Well now she is a little pretty monster who avoid all attacks and destroy everything with Bolganone +5 Micaiah engrave.
hey i do have a question abt anna well something regarding to her the emblem ring chrom on S rank has the skill that improves skills which are percantage based by another 5% or rather adds those 5% on the chance to it does that count for annas talent too?
If you look at the inherit skill list while the ring is equipped you'll see that the notation about skills not stacking only shows up on certain skills like Starsphere, Canter, and skills that give extra actions to choose from
I really, REALLY wish I saw this video before I finished Celica's Paralogue, because the enemies can summon more enemies, and if I had a strong enough Anna that sounds like I could just spend the whole time just wailing away and grinding for money with it Instead I just have to settle for roughly 8k to 9k per skirmish, and Anna's rather squishy as a High Priest so on maps without defense tiles I usually have to just get even luckier
I personally just pushed her to lvl 10 and skiped out on the mage and went straight to sage ( my original plan was high priest because of higher luck growth but I dont have any dlc and didnt want to wait for Byleth so I had sage as my only good option)
It does not stack. Her luck will cap at 59 with the Luck +12 and Byleth. 9:44 shows you that Bylth is only providing +8 from his bond level because Anna already has his Luck +12.
Well. I went into the game blind on ch 10. It was excellent in terms of story and gameplay, in my opinion. Unfortunately, Anna is stuck as an Axe unit. I'll make it work.
DO NOT reclass into a base class, turn anna into any advanced class available, THEN reclass into a magic based advance class, You do not want to be a base class for a whole extra 10 levels.
You do if you REALLY want to optimize your growths, but it's only a difference of 1-2 points. This is an "OPTIMAL" guide so it's taking the most min maxed route.
But to answer the are they available in-game question, growth rates have pretty much always been a hidden stat across the FE series, so Serenes Forest (or another site/person that did some snooping and datamining) is the best place to go, as OP said
Thanks for the shoutout brother 🙏
Definitely wouldn't have expected her str growth to be so low, so glad you've informed me for when I use her in my casual playthrough
Of course dude, I just finished watching the Chapter 10 breakdown, it was veeeeery impressive!
@@LinkKing7 can I still do this with sage and tiki the extra magic killing

@@Crackhog You get them back slowly, starting from chapter 17. It's not immediate
High priest Anna has the biggest luck growth and cap so it’s her overall best class.

@@LinkKing7 it dont matter overall as stats are set
I really apreciate how you censored the character list
Ive seen a lot of rewiews not do it
Thank you and it is a nice video
Even though I don't have any super spoilery characters there, I did it just in case so people who are more blind on the game have a purer experience! I try to be as spoiler free as possible in my content near the release of the game and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
wow there's a lot of good information here that will help me play the game more efficiently! and I love your anna thumbnail. she's my favorite character. I'm going to share this video with my friends. I'm sure it will help them as much as it helped me!
Yessirrrr, my friend did a great job with the art, I love it haha
Where are you from
And if you are playing very casually with no rush, now that the well is a thing, you can spend a good 6600 sp to get both the Byleth and Tiki luck skills on her, which is exactly what I'm going to do.
I considered Anna's personal skill a throw away until I realized how tight money can be in this game. I may have to try her on maddening.
Yeah, eventually I just went "wait, where the hell is my money going again?"
I liked the video a lot, very well explained. Let's make Anna a gold making goddess!!
On my second playthrough and was just looking into how to Anna abuse myself! Perfect timing !
It was meant to beeeee
if the dlc was sell in parts, the tiki part would be the most selled
change my mind
gryffon knight Anna works very well for me as well, she’s a dodge tank, always double, and i have gold every two enemies
I find it kinda funny that a little child is being used to make us money. 😂 The jokes write themselves
she is GREED INCARNATE
i love her big smile with her teeth clenched 😁
I'm over here with Berserker Anna because I didn't know how low her STR growth is until now.
It happens, we live and learn!
Well I want my first playthrough to be mostly blind, so I've been choosing to not look up growths. But seriously, an axe fighter that you're supposed to reclass to mage? Completely bonkers.
@@Father_Owl apparently, a lot of units are like this. clanne has the same problem in reverse
Also one of the immortal characters of the series, she might as well be a divine dragon herself
This assumes you can grind at which point money doesn't matter
They matter for efficiency at the start and how much you want to grind, but yeah, that's about it really
You sir get a like, I was already Mm plus tiki, haven’t gotten to Byleth yet in game so thanks for the heads up
oh hey bro, I'm glad you took my advice and actually made a guide on the money goblin, lol.
It was a great suggestion once I looked more into it haha!
Okay here me out for some infinite money
What you need
Anna as high priest (preferably high def and res)
Micaiah Ring with nosferatu (only if Def and res low)
Celicas paralogue available
Start paralogue, only bring main character and Anna
Put Anna in the Trees with a 2 or 3 range tome
WAIT
Seriously just wait, they will constantly spawn new enemies
If you advance too far Celica will warp and Anna will kill her
I did this for 3 hours on waiting and left with enough money to make full donations and buy every item, weapon, staff and seal I could ever need
Gonna try it soon. Now at chapter 6
Nice. It's always cool to find different methods to making money fast. I'll probably try this in my second playthrough.
Didn’t know about her magic growth and just made her into a griffin knight because of the high luck stat and then gave her a hurricane axe later
Note that the hurricane axe is a smash weapon
Ive made her a sword griffin and she bonks with a forge levin sword
yeah 50% mag spd and dex growth is absolutely absurd, her growths eclipse every single mage in the game.
>On chapter 21 maddening
>broke, drooling over the physic staff in the shop
>sees this video
>have to use Anna
I can do this with mend
Maybe it does just cap at 20
Note that without DLC, you won't be able to give Anna the Arts proficiency needed for High Priest until you get Byleth's emblem ring
I wish I watched this guide before building Anna, at least my Anna build wasn't too far off. Just your guide is more optimized.
BTW, I have no problem making Anna my best unit. Money too good.
Most players: "make anna a magic focused class asap."
Me: *laughs in warrior and wyvern rider
She one rounded most enemies, doubling them and literally made me shit ton of money while doing so, plus her crits dialogue are absolutely hilarious.(biggest reason why Anna is a good unit)
"NO WINDOW SHOPPING"
damn, i love me some detailed guide :D thank you!
Tiki is the best for everything and everyone, that’s not much of a disclaimer.
Otherwise yeah, I plan to do this, came up with it a few days ago
I foreget about the existence of most s rank weapons as they're mostly locked behind donations
I’d reclass her into a healer, give her the tiki bracelet. and that will give her good stats per lv up.
Afterwards promote her into a magic user since her magic is better than her physical attack.
I’m glad he didn’t spoil the cast last video I was watching spoiled some of the cast for me
Anna as a Solo Thief with Corrin Emblem is the safest Method.
I don’t have the DLC, but now I want it.☹️
UPDATE!
Awesome video, and great info.
Glad you like it and found it helpful!
Emblem and Skill bonuses are capped at +20, so you can save SP by just getting Lck+8 from Byleth
I literally said that in the video...
Oh, that's what I get for stopping the video a minute early....I'm sorry.
I didn’t have the tiki emblem, but I got her to high priest and inherited +10 luck. Gave her Olwen S ring and thunder+5 to double, She kills more consistently. Worked like a charm.
Tried using her to make money. I think her skill activated maybe 3 or 4 times in the whole game.
by the way, the reason the byleth ability didn't double is because you can't overlap. the game will tell you that inherited skills won't work if you're wearing the ring you inherited them from, so the +12 from byleth would be better if you paired it with Lyn or Tiki
Yes it does stack, and no it doesn't work if you pair it with Tiki. The cap is 20, I tested this personally before putting the video out.
Some skills dont stack, and some do. The skills that give you stats or avoid or things of that nature do stack, but skills that give you actual abilities usually dont. The game will tell you which skills stack in the inherit skills menu.
I made her a berserker and she’s a beast. Never gets hit and with a killer axe she has a 50% chance or higher to crit most of the time
Surprised none of the Emblems recognize her similarities to her "ancestors"
You know, I never thought about that, good point!
If you're on normal or hard Anna has a luck cap of 35 on wolf and swordmaster is 38 so may be worth making her that over over high priest just letting you all know.
BTW not including emblem sync stats and emblem skills inherited so you could prob get way more combining those too.
I found griffon knight for endgame is better because while you lose 3 max luck you become mush faster at 50 max speed as opposed to 33 but also much stronger by being able to switch between physical and magic damage if you choose the lance option which is by far the best of the 3
Any easy way of investing into Anna mid to late game? the level diff is too big right now
restart the game lol /cough
Question, what difficulty are you on? if you're on hard/normal, just throw her in the arena training after each skirmish. if on Maddening, restart the game lol.
@@takarahayashi4124 just on hard so I think it’s doable
On chapter 17
And where are you getting that information from?
On Enchanter she can have a higher percentage to proc her Skill "Make a Killing"
Here are her Max stats Plus Inheritable's
Hp/Lck +10
Lck +12
HP: 53 (+10) 63
Bld: 11
Str: 25
Mag: 26
Dex: 44
Spd: 40
Def: 18
Res: 21
Lck: 43 (+20) 63
You just need an Emblem to help her one shot enemies
I was so short on money I sold weapons on characters I dont use to buy more seals.
Sadge.
If you can afford tiki's hp + luck skill to +8 and byleths luck +12 thatll give you the 20 cap and chrom's s rank skill adds a flat 5% chance to all skills so at max that would give lady anna 64% procc chance over 59%
Yes, you can use the chrom ring
So here's the funny thing. I'm only on Chapter 10, and I kept Anna as an Axe user, she's currently level 15. I saw this video and thought, well I'm obviously going to do this now and I checked her stats. She has 6 in magic.
So for 50% growth potential in magic, she didn't get any for many levels.
considering she starts at 2 base magic and 5 level base, that's 4/10 levels in magic. Just one point below average.
@LinkKing7 Thats good to know, but I did as your excellent video suggests. She is now a martial monk with Tiki.
Thank you for the advice and keep up these excellent videos
Its weird how she has a magic growth
Does the stat increasing skills not stack with the ring their from?
You can only have +20 increase on top of your base Stat cap. So even if you have Luck +12 and Byleths emblem and a luck tonic. You will not go past the 20 restriction.
They do, just only up to +20 maximum
the fact that her luck caps at only 25
you use her as mage knight , right ? mage knight lck capped at 25 . you need to reclass her as high priest or griffin knight to maximize her luck growth.
I know this is old, but I just don't know why they didn't just do DLC money/exp/material maps. like did they really not want players to want to grind up, I understand wanting to challenge the player but don't force it on them, that was mainly my issue of why are the skirmish maps scaling with your strongest unit
question, what exactly would rolling for bond rings accomplish 4:14
Exactly to me they seem like a complete waste
I will turn off animations and let any solo skirmishes. She usually nets 8k just from her skill alone.
Gonna be a lot of SP grinding to get all that but yeah, in theory that works too!
Go for it, she's great!
Honestly, if you're the type to do skirmishes, Paralogues, and DLC, I don't see why you _wouldn't_ do Casual.
Ahhh I see! Thankyou for explaining :)
Cha Ching! $*
Would a soren build similar to the jean one be viable for anna too? If so, she'd be able to clear an entire skirmish by herself or at least almost by herself.
Anna is a better mage than Jean, she's the best mage in the entire game if you reclass her, so yeah, the Soren build works if you're running DLC
@@LinkKing7 awesome, ok. I'll keep that in mind for my next run for sure then. Thanks for telling me! :)
I don't think it's a mistake to donate early. It boosts gold gain from skirmishes by a lot.
I kinda disagree considering the boost really doens't help you break even unless you grind the skirmishes quite a bit, and is better used elsewhere
@@LinkKing7 imo it's more to double those early ingots, which does add up. Though anything past lvl 2 has me skeptical of fair returns.
I play without the dlc and i don't have byleth yet but after invest, money/xp/ressources and 3 second seal, my Anna (Mage) has technically 60 lvl on her stats, i choose Avoid +20 (Marth)
and Tome precision 3 (Celica) for her inheritable skills before chapter 10.
Yes, it works!
So what about a Sage Tiki Anna? Mainly because of the A and S tier tomes a sage gets.
That works too! Like I said in the video, she'll get the luck growths slower, but she'll still do really well in any mage class
I thought inherited skills didn't stack with skills the ring gave you if you wore it??
If you look at the inherit skill list while the ring is equipped you'll see that the notation about skills not stacking only shows up on certain skills like Starsphere, Canter, and skills that give extra actions to choose from
stat inherits are the only thing that stacks, skills do not. like you can't inherit and stack marth avoid for example.
The stat boosting ones doooooo
Does her ability work on enemies with void curse, if it does then you could use her on Ike's paralogue which has infinite reinforcements.
Why does Anna start as an Axe fighter? Did they want players to work to make her a good unit? I am perplexed by the choice.
I really, REALLY wish I saw this video before I finished Celica's Paralogue, because the enemies can summon more enemies, and if I had a strong enough Anna that sounds like I could just spend the whole time just wailing away and grinding for money with it
Instead I just have to settle for roughly 8k to 9k per skirmish, and Anna's rather squishy as a High Priest so on maps without defense tiles I usually have to just get even luckier
Do you need to equip Tiki or just her skill?
I personally just pushed her to lvl 10 and skiped out on the mage and went straight to sage ( my original plan was high priest because of higher luck growth but I dont have any dlc and didnt want to wait for Byleth so I had sage as my only good option)
Wait Byleth +12 stacks twice? I thought that didn't work. I need to look closer.
It does not stack. Her luck will cap at 59 with the Luck +12 and Byleth.
9:44 shows you that Bylth is only providing +8 from his bond level because Anna already has his Luck +12.
It stacks up to the +20 cap. Like mention by the other commenter here, you can see it in the video where I showcase the build!
How do you find growth rates? Is it something I can observe in game? I want to really do complex things with my engage playthrough(s)
I get mine from Serenesforest, which is a website with a lot of FE information in general!
But to answer the are they available in-game question, growth rates have pretty much always been a hidden stat across the FE series, so Serenes Forest (or another site/person that did some snooping and datamining) is the best place to go, as OP said
