I also have that pearl drop necklace. Some people see it as a provocation (here in Germany) because it looks "too elegant"... The beige blazer is a very good idea. So classy! You can also buy a cheap blazer and sew on gold colored buttons.

The scale of the houndstooth pattern on the blazer is just right. I don’t like those enormous-scale ones, they’re not classic, but a very fine houndstooth or check just gives the appearance of a heathery grayish fabric, I like to see the contrast between the black (or other color) and white.

I fell in love with Chanel style shoes when you featured the block-heeled ones from M&S a few years ago. Since then I have also bought flats and slingbacks from other retailers. I have large feet (UK 8) and I think the two-tone toe makes my feet look smaller. (Even if they don't, I still feel daintier.)
I just recently bought a red blazer. I got it in a stretchy material and I think I’m going to like it a lot better than the cotton ones. I always feel like I can’t move very well in a blazer so this one should solve that problem. I only own one other blazer and it’s a black corduroy. I like it because it’s real fitted and it’s casual so it goes with a lot. 🇺🇸

I haven't worn a bomber jkt since I was a teenager, remember those ones with the tartan lining?!! I had the black one. It would be a good choice for going shopping in the winter as it's not bulky and you won't get too hot walking round the shops. I bought my utility jkt in early summer and not been able to wear it yet, still too warm here 😄.
I’m thinking about getting a navy trench coat, in addition to my light-stone colored one. I don’t wear a lot of black and have several black coats already. Maybe a double-breasted one, which I don’t normally choose, but after seeing these on you, I might reconsider. Of course, you are much thinner than I am at the moment, you look great.
