The Roman Forum (and of course the very famous Colosseum) ruins were unreal! Thanks for the tips. A lot of these places I was unfamiliar with, but I'll definitely be adding them to our list when we hopefully visit one day. - Rachel
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience. The link to your tour of the colosseum just takes you to the general “get your guide” page for Rome. Which one did you do specifically please?
I liked your video, I had five weeks in Rome several decades back and it was nice to see some of the same places. The lens you are using of your videos, I'm guessing its a wide angle lens? had a lot of distortion, and felt a little distracting, especially when you were panning with it, but maybe that's just me.
Hey Laura, I really like your holiday vlogs 🤩 Just watched the Ireland series, and it was very helpful since we intend to travel to Ireland next year. And we would like to go there, exactly where you were. And - funny as it is - Rom is another intention. So, I'm looking forward to your next video 📹🤩🤩
I’ve been watching your videos of you travelling Europe..I’m going in 2 weeks. Ive got travel insurance with health insurance on there. I’m wondering about these Ghic medical cards? Did you take one with you? ❤
How did you book for all those attractions? Did you go individually to each website to book or it was a package? Where did you stay? How did you travel between each attraction: on foot or taxi or bus, underground? I really want to go but I’m scared I will not find anything and will not get anywhere if I don’t book in advance. Thanks.
I booked the tours in advance through get your guide. I'll post the links to the tours I did here (AF LINKS): Colosseum & Roman Forum Tour: www.getyourguide.com/rome-l33/colosseum-tour-with-roman-forum-and-palatine-hill-t387476/?partner_id=QWZ0NAQ&placement=%22other%22 Pompeii Tour: www.getyourguide.com/pompeii-l685/pompeii-walking-tour-t35202/?partner_id=QWZ0NAQ&placement=%22other%22 I stayed in a hostel called the Yellowsquare, I highly recommend. It was super easy to make friends and it was within walking distance of most places: hostelworld.prf.hn/click/camref:1101lfX89/[p_id:1011l76016]/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hostelworld.com%2Fhosteldetails.php%2FYellowSquare-Rome%2FRome%2F743 (AF LINK) For getting around, I walked most places except to the Vatican (took the underground). At night I did use the lime/bolt scooters with some people I met in the hostel but that was more for fun than transport purposes. We rode them down to the colosseum to see it lit up at night (I didn't vlog it though). It's very cool I recommend.
hi.i am sri lankan .your videos are awesome. I love your country very much. I am still 17 years old. My future hope is to become a chef. Someday I will be a cook in your country. Tell me what is the average salary of a chef in your country. It would be nice to meet you sometime. Keep making videos.
Really helpful video. Spending about 20 days of my 35 in Italy this July (2023) and honestly your videos are really helpful. Thank you
