    I love these videos. So often when I watch tours of Rome, it is the usual attractions. But your videos show not only new places, but still shows the history of Rome. Please do more videos of these hidden gems of Rome

    The borghese is awesome, look for the Pan in the upper corner of one of the rooms looking down at YOU!. You can rent a bicycle and cruise the grounds.

      Villa Borghese is one of my absolute favorite places in Rome. The energy there is something I cannot explain.

    Is Borghese gallery really a hidden gem though? When I look at people's itineraries, most of them include it.

    Too much to see in too short of allotted time at Galleria Borghese. A must return place. But I did take time to study the 3-dimensional details of Apollo and Daphne. Life size. Life like captured in the moment. Fortunately, staff did not tell me to move on. The small number of visitors allowed eliminates being pushed aside by people in a hurry to see everything.

    • @StayFabulousTL

    Huge thanks! 😊 this is super helpful as I wonder what’s worth seeing during the summer, when the must see attractions will be much too busy for my liking.

      All the must-see attractions are already super crowded, unfortunately. Definitely perfect time to explore some "hidden gems." If you haven't watched it yet, I have the whole series dedicated to "hidden gems of Rome" and I am currently filming more!

    Love the video! And great choices too! I have no idea why so many people totally overlook Villa Borghese and the Altar of the Fatherland/Vittoriano. These two places offer hands down the best views of Rome! And at very cheap too!

    Thank you for great suggestions. We've been to Rome a few times but missed to visit some of the places - Santa Maria degli Angeli i dei Martiri, Vittoriano, Palazzo Venezia. We walked by them but neglected to venture inside. We're visiting Rome this September and will definitely see these gorgeous monuments. Looking forward for more "hidden Rome". Molto grazie. You're fabulous guide.

    Forgot to mentio that I am going to Rome in 2 weeks and thanks to your very documented videos I could prepare a very special visit plan. I just need one more infor on il Chiostro di Santa Maria Della Minerva: not clear on all websites I checked how to access it, is it the same entrance than the basilica or from another street?

    Great tips! I was in Rome this week for the first time, and I left for the last day of the visit to the Borghese Gallery, and I couldn't get tickets because it was sold out. So it's better to buy the tickets at an advantage as this gallery is probably popular now!

      @StayFabulousTL  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oops I oversold it in my video! Haha! Thank you Fran. Yes, Borghese Gallery is special and I am so happy more people are now interested in visiting this gem. Hopefully you will be back soon to explore more of Rome. And yes - getting tickets in advance for everything is a good idea!

    What a discovery for me! Been to Rome 5 times from 1962 to 2016. Maybe 2 months total!! Your presentation of what to add for unknown site worth visiting is SPOT ON!!! Some, like the Borgese Gallery, I've visited every trip. Promise to laud your skills to others! Truly girl, only Paris can come close to Rome though on a different level of entertainment. Thanks for your professional presentations m'lady! Al
