@3:14, as a proud/arrogant, boasting yank I appreciate you introducing the term “thicknesser” as it really does help differentiate the types of planes (both electric & non electric).
It really does do well when explaining what some of the tools do to those not familiar with woodworking.
Jointer = great for flattening sides for joining them
Planer = hand/electric shaves thin bits off the side of choice
Thickness Planer (Thicknesser) = ensures the proper thickness of the board no matter what the side
Thank you again for all that you do for the community and making woodworking look not only easy to get into too but also enjoyable to watch. Much love from the states brother

Also I made a garden shed, for my missus, from pallet wood, 3 different donated wooden doors and some marine plywood for the roof. I used an offcut from our kitchen worktop, that was sawn in half, as the main working area inside it. I even re-used a handrail as a herb drying rack too. The Pallet Whispered you may be; however your use of recycled lumber counts way up there as not-in-the-landfill & becomes such beautiful furniture. Thanks for sharing another few ideas and the mistakes ("I'm NOT making another one of these...")!
The ending was again, the best. Some US wood workers know a woodworking plane is a hand tool made of iron or wood holding a (chisel) blade to work wood with. (You used two in this video.) While a Thicknesser is a motorized machine that does the work at (about) 3500 rpm. We however, do not understand Vegimite!
