Hey Jesper love the table. It would have been cool to have had more of the pallet labels on the side but still an awesome project. Thanks for the mention 👍🏻
Thanks, yeah I needed to sand it down a few times, so that took some of it, the owner seems to think theres a good balance betweeen pallet references and tabletop. I was happy to mention you, you're one of my absolute favorite channels to look for answers and ideas on how to solve things.

I too, use pallets and build all kinds of things... YES a "pallet buster" tool and "pneumatic de-nailer" are a MUST if your are serious about doing things with pallets. For the past 5 years+ I had been using a circular saw/reciprocating saw etc...EVEN a chainsaw to ease the dismantling process for pallets. It ALWAYS came down to the crowbar/hammer etc.... It is so cool to see like-minded people. If you want to DO THIS? GET A PALLET BUSTER(swivel-end type) AND a de-nailer... your welcome. (I speak from experience)
I just wanna say this build inspired me to start building my own furniture, and I'm currently in the process of making my first coffee table. Much love man

Hi Mehmet, thank you so much for watching my film! I think it turned out great in the end, and I learned so much. I will definately do more epoxy resin projects in the future. Used right it can really add something to a table, and it can allow you to use wood that othervise could not have been used (e.g. rotten wood etc. ) Some of the blocks in this table came from Turkey, and whenever I look at the table I think of how it came together with parts from all over the planet. What are you working on right now?

Very nice Jesper! I have made a few table tops from pallet wood. Instead of glue and acrylic, I use construction adhesive to fill the gaps and nail holes. The result is amazing.
I have 3 pallets out the back from a retaining-wall job that we did last year. I contemplated using them to either build a doghouse or use them as walls for a compost heap. You have inspired me to aim higher. Thanks..!
I am very new to woodworking and your videos really give some great tips and tricks and you give some really great insight. Glad to watch all the way from South Africa!
It's admirable that you didn't edit out your mistakes, thank you for keeping it authentic. Most my mistakes work out lol, most don't as well, thing is I learn from every one! Thanks so much for some great tips! Also some fellow links & resources..that's decent. Great table btw, no doubt it sold, it's Spectacular!! Well made! Solid!
Wow, thank you for the compliment! I'm flattered that you think my mistakes are admirable. To be honest, I'm just too lazy to go back and edit them out. Keeping it authentic is just my way of saying "hey, I'm human and I make mistakes too!" As for my table, I'm glad you think it's spectacular and well made. Ahaha 😂 - I sold it, but my wife was in on that decision, and I promise you my wife AND our house are not missing out on weird things made from reclaimed wood 😁.
Just a random viewer here, what a fantastic table! Love the way it came out. But also I was excited by your first too dark finish as well. Japanese lacquer. I understand why you made the choice you did, but it would have been stunning either way. Now I have to look at your other videos as well, because the editing and production was excellent. Thanks for posting!
I have watched only 2 of your videos as I found your channel yesterday, but man this is good stuff. This is so pure and honest, somehow you make fancy crafts without doing much fancy work. As an amateur/beginner woodworker this channel is great to learn from and I love your vibe. Greetings from Finland!
Never would have thought I'd use a block like that what a beautiful piece good job absolutely amazing the way the grains go against one another color contrast between species absolutely beautiful 💯👍
This is so awesome man. I take woodworking as a bit of a hobby and not a job so I'm no way as good as you, but man this is such an inspiration. The way you show that even though you're awesome at what you do, you still learn to make do with the mistakes that were made and STILL end up with an amazing result. Will for sure be watching this video when I decide to make a coffee table of my own. Keep it up man, subbed instantly.
Thank you Jasper for your videos. I love the way you show us the mistakes you did, to help us to avoid them. And I love the table. I am thinking on really try it!!
Hey Carlos, I'm thrilled to hear you're considering giving it a shot! Remember, every mistake is just a learning opportunity in disguise. Can't wait to hear how your table turns out! Cheers! 🛠
What a pleasure it was to watch this video! All the effort you go to in filming and editing is worth it. A++ :) and wow what a brilliant finish to that table, just gorgeous
So my wife thought the first few seconds should be compulsory viewing for all makers.... then on second viewing, I came to realise you said you made this FOR your wife.... then sold it to the Bar instead 🤣 Brave man. Thanks for the shoutout, and what a great learning project. Yep, cheap wood will soak up resin like a sponge. I don't think many people have ever taken fire to a resin project either 😂 But the bar got a bargain... would have been a grand in resin in there alone.
Thanks James, I'm currently building another coffee table, and you can be sure I don't take any selling decisions without my wife's approval 😁. It looks like people enjoy this video, TH-cam keeps recommending it to new people, so the time spent on editing could be worth while. Thanks to both of you 💖 for supporting me, it means a lot.
Hi just seen your video. Wow. Your table top looks absolutely gorgeous and it was fun to see you go through all the tries and mistakes which many of us actually do on the the way to finding what we want and find beautiful. Congratulations on a wonderful piece of craftmanship. Your wife must have a big smile when she saw it in its finished form as it would lift the energy of any place you had it.
Thanks Tara, in the beginning I was trying to be perfect, but no one likes that, so now I just leave in all the embarrassing stuff and errors I do, and my channel exploded... So much for wanting to be an expert 😜
Well done Jesper, that came out great ! Yea you are right, it does look much better after the re sand and finish. Another epic video too, I always enjoy them. Thank You for the awesome shout out as well mate, Much Appreciated, Cheers !
Hi David, thank you for your support, I was happy to be able to make a short plug for your awesome channel mate. I hope to do more in the future. I'll do some more epoxy resin projects and I'll talk about the master of resin in those...
This is really great work. Including your mistakes is really useful for someone trying to learn about woodwork. Also, don’t worry about asking for subscriptions. People with far lower quality content do it, and yours is awesome.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm always happy to share my mistakes and learning experiences with others, because let's face it, we all make mistakes when we're starting out (and sometimes even when we're more experienced). Hi Mario, thanks so much for watching. Those words coming from you means a lot. When looking a the raw footage it was quote boring with all that gluing and sanding, so I tried to jazz it up a little.

This is the first time I've subscribed to a channel. This is the second or third video of yours that I watched. The first one was the pallet block river table. As I recall there were a couple videos grouped with that one. Everything of yours I watched was inspiring and entertaining. I hope folks take your lead and start picking up discarded objects and making stuff out of it. It is that easy. Then after a while, The stuff you make Performs its intended function and is pleasing to the eye as well. Your editing is slick and keeps simple animals like me glued to the screen. Go Jesper Go!
One of Dainer's video popped up randomly in my feed and he mentioned your channel. Came here and that pallet block coffee table made me an instant subscriber! Beautiful work!
Absolutely tremendous work! Such a novel idea and a stunning result! Intrigued to try something similar but the sheer cost of the epoxy is a little intimidating... Could obviously square up the blocks and fill the nail holes first to reduce gaps but I think the black voids are part of the charm. Also, video is beautifully produced and has a real sense of narrative. Well done.
Thank you for your kind words and insightful feedback! I'm flattered that you find my work absolutely tremendous. I agree that the black voids are charming and the epoxy cost is worth it for stunning results. I'm glad you enjoyed the video's production and narrative. Thank you for your support and thoughtful comments. Keep on woodworking!

It's great how you don't skip past any of your mistakes. They're all things I could picture myself doing, or at least I could have before I watched this. You're doing fine work. There were a couple spots where I couldn't hear what you were saying, like you were talking from behind all the other sounds. It would probably help to mix the voice channel a little different so it stands out more when there's a lot of other sounds. Just use an EQ to lower the midrange frequencies of everything else for the parts that are noisy. Your voice will stand out a lot more without making everything too quiet

I understand why you made the choice you did, but it would have been stunning either way. Now I have to look at your other videos as well, because the editing and production was excellent. Thanks for posting!
Awesome! Thank you random viewer!
Thank you so much 😀
This is so awesome man.
Awesome, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I suspect the wife thought, "He can make me another, possibly better, one. " It's like having the cake and eating it too.
Mate.....what a mission, but man!!!....spectacular result 👍👍 Well done Jesper....Brilliant👍😁🇦🇺
Yeah good thing my wife's not watching my TH-cam videos, she would discover I made this for her AND sold it 😬
@@JesperMakes 😂😂
And you're right, there's no shame in asking for subscriptions - we all need a little support and encouragement to keep creating and sharing our work. Thanks for the support, and happy woodworking!
Just got into woodworking recently - the table is very sick, but I love the production of the video just as much. Great Cuts storytelling, grading and music.. Subscribed and wish you every success with the channel
That was very kind of you Samuel, and I wish you the best of luck with whatever you're working on. Cheers from Denmark
Excelente trabajos Jesper. Muy buena idea para reciclar esos pedazos de madera que generalmente se queman. Felicitaciones. un Abrazo de Santa Cruz, Argentina
Thank you Carlos! I had a lot of fun making this, glad you enjoyed it. Cheers from Denmark
I kind of agree with "Coffee solves everything", but you know what?, Coffee + Your worklog videos, makes a perfect morning... Love it man!, thanks for sharing your art.
Great to hear! Cheers from Denmark
I've always wanted to do that same project but never take the time. I might have to now. That looks absolutely amazing.
You should!
I might not have the pallet blocks but i have a three car garage full of sawmill scraps
Hey there Jesper!! Don't know much about woodworking... even less on English language 😁😁, but I enjoy so much seeing you work man, great job
Thanks for the kind words! I'm always happy to share my woodworking with anyone who is interested. And don't worry about your English language skills - woodworking is a universal language, and we can all communicate through the language of sawdust and power tools. Keep on enjoying the videos and maybe one day you'll be building your own projects too!
Turned out great! I like that you didnt give up and your talent shows. Wow!
Glad you liked it!
Love it! Earned my subscription… great work! And I appreciate the humbled-ness and promoting other makers, very classy!
Thanks Stephen, they did so much for me, it's only fair I'm mentioning them also.
Jesper what a killer video, well done! I sat with a smile on my face the whole way through! A1 work on the editing, pacing, storytelling, and of course, the woodworking! Well done!
Hi Mario, thanks so much for watching. Those words coming from you means a lot. When looking a the raw footage it was quote boring with all that gluing and sanding, so I tried to jazz it up a little.
I love DIY, so far I broke a ton of stuff but I really enjoy watching people who can make stuff. This is a brilliant project, so I'm going to attempt to make something myself
Legend! Thank you James, appreciate it! Happy building!
Great job, that looks amazing mate, I love it.
I'm glad you got a good price for all that hard work.
Well done Jesper 👍🏻
Thanks 👍Adam
Mate, properly cool project and video to match. Great work! would love to sit back with a pint and enjoy the workmanship! Cheers
Thanks Sam, let's do that, would be awesome. Thanks for watching it mate, are you up to something?
You’ve earnt a subscription from me mate. I first came to your page after a recommendation from Mark Dainer. Came back again yesterday and watched your euro pallet busting tips. Worked a treat saved me hours of work.
Great build, great production value, and that music was awesome! I really dig your videos… you make woodworking groovy! 🤩🕺🏼
Hey, Tim! Glad you dig the vibe. 🕺 What's your go-to music when working on projects?
This was fantastic! New sub unlocked! 😎🙂 Noob wood working enthusiast converted trophy achieved! 👌🏽😁
Awesome, thank you!
For someone with very little wood working skill, you make beautiful things. I love this channel, and watching your process of building.
Thanks 🙏
1600 for this?? where is the market for this? nobody would pay more than $200 for this in the UK... Crazy prices...
Some people really like the unique stuff, try looking at Etsy and see what people buy. If you are targeting the IKEA segment of buyers, yes, you'll get 50 bucks
Demek ki sizin orada insanlar değerli parçaların, el emeği ürünlerin anlamını pek bilmiyor. Normal, tipik İngiliz şımarıklığı 😂
Just a suggestion your music is a good bit louder than your voice.
Thanks, it's corrected in the videos after this one.
a cool project & it's a pleasure to be your guest. thank you:)
Thank you too!
@@JesperMakes it's my pleasure 🙏
You didn't ask enough for that table.
ahaha - thanks buddy!
Sarcastic or not
BRAVO!! Beautiful table. I may build one like that for my kitchen table. AWESOME project! Very creative as I would have never thought about doing that with pallet blocks! Checking out another of your videos next.
Thanks Jeff - which video did you pick?
@@JesperMakes Sho Sugi Ban table finish.. I ended up watching a couple last night and a couple more this morning. I see used pallets as an under-utilized resource for woodworkers..
I appreciate your craftsmanship and making someone’s garbage into something worthy of a king
Thanks man ☺️
Brother, that came out nice. I am now a member of this channel. Thanks for creating for us who appreciate it.
Thanks 🙏
Great project and excellent video. I love how you just start it and see where it goes and adjust your process to what is needed. That's a lot like how I do my projects. Also, I like your choice of whiskey!
Thanks 👍
I've seen many things made from pallets... But that table is a thing of beauty... You got my subscription...👍
Thanks Christopher, much appreciated!
I love the thick and rugged look of this table, including the various woods used.
Me too 🤣😌
$1599 - you earned every cent … great job, well done on the table and video. Thanks.
Thanks, Mark! It's great to hear that you think the hard work paid off. Here's to more exciting projects and videos!
Inspirational video, I am new in wood working but I hope to one day be on this level. Thank you for showing your process.
You can do it!
I love this video. You are a world class craftsman. Look, the idea of craft is not = to science or flawless design. It is a person who does cool stuff. You are there. Never appologize. Thank You.
Hi Rodger, thank you so much for the nice comment, I find this very funny and fulfilling to do, and I just hope to inspire others to not being afraid to start building something. Cheers mate
Preciosa obra de arte....haaarta paciencia y amor por lo que haces. Felucitaciones, desde Chile
Hello in Chile, thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers from Denmark 🇩🇰🇩🇰
So honored to be your first subscription! Your kind words mean a lot. Got any discarded treasures you're turning into something special?
One of Dainer's video popped up randomly in my feed and he mentioned your channel. Came here and that pallet block coffee table made me an instant subscriber! Beautiful work!
I love how it shows “mistakes” and re doing things. Big fan of the channel.
Thank you Matthew! I had a lot of fun making this, glad you enjoyed it. Cheers from Denmark
One other life for some wood that otherwise will end in a dump. Resin no more than needed.
Simply beautiful!
Thanks mate
Really neat video showcasing the hard work, wins and struggles. Motivates me to try more with recycling timber. Very cool!
Somethimes I think that using new wood is kind of cheating. Reclaimed timber presents all kinds of challenges-
The shots, the music, and the table are awesome. Excellent video
Thanks so much!
The business next to my new job has a steady supply of furniture pallets they are happy to let me have. Thank you for doing this video. Subscribed. Slowly learning the best way to reclaim the wood.
That sounds optimal! A steady supply of free wood!
This is the 1st time I've watched a video of yours (after watching my 1st Dainer Made vid) & I love the block table. Nice craftmanship on the table! It tell ppl a story just by looking at it. Now I'm off to watch the pallet bedroom vid.
Awesome! Thank you for following us both. I think you'll find we are very different but supplement each others content nicely.
New subscriber and binge watcher here, love your content Jesper! Also really respect the way you responded to one of the very negative fellows on here, class act you are! Cheers from Northern California!
Thanks mate, I really appreciate your comments. I really like indepth comments, both positive and negative. There's often a lot of honesty and truth hidden in the very negative comments and I learn a lot from them.
I been thinking of making a jig for my router like that and yours is honestly the best one I have simplistic too
Thanks, it's really simple and I use it a lot. Doesn't take up space when disassembled. Cheers from Denmark
My dog chewed my coffee table make me one too lol.
I just got a bunch of free pallets I wasnt sure how to take them apart until I saw your video on how to. Thanks for sharing your pallet knollege
Thanks, good to know it's useful. I'm about to do another video on dismantling pallets with a pneumatic denailer, you have one?
@@JesperMakes Not yet I am building a pallet dismantler with a little Native knollege from my ansestors.
I was going to build a big wedge and push the pallets down with a ratchet strap. That didnt work so good lots of boards broke and cracked.
My next attempt at this will be a big lever I built for about 1 cdn dollar in screws. I will post my video soon all tag you in it when it is ready.
Great quality video with super pacing. Beautiful table. Thanks.
Thanks for the compliments on the video and the table, FlyPhiGuy! Great pacing and quality are what I strive for in each video.
Wow this turned out a treat
Love it and am sure your Mrs does too
Excellent work
Thanks 🙏
By far the most entertaining and well executed video I’ve watched on TH-cam. Thank you.
Wow, thanks! Thank you for taking the time to let me know. Jesper
Spectacular! Love the table! Like the way you filmed the video. And dig the song towards the end! I look forward to watching more of your stuff!! Nice work
Thanks so much!
Thanks Brad. I have been improving sound on the more recent videos, this one had some issues...

Great video great instructions. The thing I like the most is that you don't "go with the curve" you make your own wave with your own ideas and work. Subscribed
Thanks 🙏🙏
Nice to look at. Real fun watching you working, man! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I know very little about this kind of work but after doing something similar from scrap wood I learned to prepare some of the scrap wood the same as my project so I could try different finishes on the scrap before applying it to my project, but you table looks awesome I hope your wife appreciates it.
Using a testpiece for finish is mandatory, I haven't got any idea why I skipped that 😂
@@JesperMakes I learned he hard way the same as you lol
Very nice video!.....You really show how most anyone could build these with a little time and patience.
Thank you very much!
Fantastic work... I love the router/planer you built as well.
Thanks and yeah that's pretty cool. I have just made an even bigger version of it for my new table.
Have just dicovered you today and i think the table you have created is nothing short than outstanding
Thank you ANTHONY, it makes my day to hear that. Thank you for following along. Cheers from Denmark
great video, i’ve got a bunch of these same kinda wood block, just waiting for you to share your method. thanks for sharing. it is also refreshing to hear your danish accent, half my family is danish.
Ahahaha the good old Danglish language 😂. where are you located mate?
@@JesperMakes north Carolina, USA. Mom grew up in herning.
I like your creative spirit. Thanks for the incentive to try this on my own.

First-class table, mate... loved it...!!! Having worked with epoxy quite a bit myself, I feel your pain as far as the leaking, sealing, sanding... more leaking... more sanding... blah blah blah blah... but the effort shines through in the finished product...! Well done...! :)
Thanks 👍 Scott!
Just came for dainer made. Was directed to you. Subscribed to both channels. I am a hobbyist. I want to pick up woodworking again. Nice channel. I love unique stuff
Thanks, also a fan of Dainer here 🥰🥰
This is what the result of lots of time, effort and skill put into something most people look at as simply "firewood" (the pallet blocks).
Thanks mate!
