29:20 The problem with PMs is they discovered a way to manipulate the perceived value of them through the derivatives market. Since the derivatives market is used as the price discovery mechanism for PMs and not the physical market, TPTB can control the consensus amount of fiat units obtainable for an ounce of silver/gold.

Thanks Luke, I appreciate your articulation of the future of Bitcoin and I love your enthusiasm. Even though you did not use the phrase, I want to assert that, while Bitcoin fixes a lot, it does not fix everything. In my view, if it is not to become an underground movement, Bitcoin needs democracy to thrive. While the regimes that seek to suppress it cannot do so 100%, the countries where it is thriving are all democracies. Autocrats can be in favor one month, and turn on it the next (El Salvador). It is incumbent on all of us who advocate Bitcoin, to also engage in the political struggles necessary to keep some semblance of popular rule.

What Broyles has been saying during the whole interview is very coherent and sensical. The more I understand the true value of bitcoin (the actual benefit you get from it), the less I care about its price (what you pay for it), or its volatility. When it comes to fiat money you see that every currency is losing value throughout history again and again. The best system I have seen to keep inflation and value loss at bay is Switzerland. They acquire assets and use them to buy back their own currency if there is too much of it in circulation and the inflation rates are being too high. One of the problems with this procedure is that it's still too dependant on the ethics and sense of responsibility the government might have. With bitcoin, however, this issue is non existent. It is a self-sufficient system that doesn't rely on individuals.

this was the pitch when i bought BTC at around $140 ... took Public 8 years to digest it... just bought VELO . Hope in 5 years it pays out well.
Keep in mind that inflation is not only in the money, but also in Big government creating more rules and this way also makes everything more expensive.
Of course you can argue that governments could never become so big under a hard monetary standard.
Luke brings it together very well, however what he's saying comes from some famous sources like Andreas (sinking ships), Jeff Booth (oxygen), Michael Saylor (economic energy) and others, and he frequently will pull from these sources without acknowledging them. I think Preston should have mentioned something like "Yeah i've heard Jeff say that" or some soft call out at least. He may have done that a little for Saylor.

Fantastic! Luke's ideas are relatable for the average person. Love what he is doing, but I think it would be even more powerful if he could tighten the message. Attention spans are short. I would love to see a shorter video that you could direct someone to that has an interest in learning or even a series of videos.. It's a lot of information to take in for someone who knows nothing about finance, economics, money or Bitcoin. I convey information to smart people for a living. It's crucial to keep it simple and memorable, if it sticks they will be ready for the next step.
wow. That was fabulous. I will have to watch this again and again. His metaphysical explanations of Bitcoin are needed to try to gain greater understanding of it. The smile on his face and the light he projects tells you that he is touched with the genius of Bitcoin.
