If it has the same quality as other Pioneer radios, then it's definitely a good deal... much more so than the Dual unit that they sell for $20 at Walmart. The half-chassis design really makes it a great solution for "Problem Vehicles" that otherwise can't fit a regular aftermarket radio, as well as powersports.

does it have high pass & low pass filters and subwoofer control? I was hoping you would go into audio settings
I just had someone install this exact same radio in my car, but I can’t turn it off? I press and hold the SRC button as the instruction manual tells me too but it doesn’t turn off. I have a feeling that he wired it directly because it also will not turn off when I turn my car off it just stays on… Does yours or anyone else’s do the same thing?

I just bought this model, and the rear speakers won't work. Is it a fluke?
Just bought this - seems pretty good but I have two small complaints. if someone asks you a question and the music is up loud you have to turn the volume knob down slowly as its one of those digital volume knobs -turning it quickly does nothing. The other thing is no mute button. So there is no way to reduce volume quickly. When you say the backlight is set to red, can you change yhe backlight colour like my old Alpine?
One hint, if you need to kill it momentarily, press the panel release button...

How do you use the equalizer on a mvh21bt pioneer system?
It doesn’t have that capability because it doesn’t have dedicated subwoofer outputs. You can adjust it to 1,2, or 3, but that’s about it
Can iPhones connect via Bluetooth to this model? I know some older models can’t. And have a friend that bought a truck and this model head unit came with it. Just trying to help her find out why she has issues connecting.
Sure can. Try clearing Bluetooth memory.

Just got this head unit today. It wont turn on at all. I have constant power to yellow and power to red when key is turned on. Idk wgat to do

Eh- most people wanted it for Bluetooth. It’s a cheap radio, so rule of thumb, you get what you pay for.

i got this same stereo for a year now and the volume started acting up on me, when i turn the knob to the left the volume wont turn down" Does anyone have a solution to this?? Please get back to me asap? Thanks.
Ive had the boss 616uab and a Dual radio do exactly this to me. So far my only fix is to turn the knob faster (worked on 616uab) or slower (worked on dual radio) otherwise no

It has 4 channels of output, yes (standard to just about any aftermarket radio on the market)
does this have an EQ? bas booster?
No. It has an EQ setting but not adjustable above 1,2, or 3 presettings, it doesn’t let you adjust it to your liking due to it not having subwoofer outputs. Which is odd bc it does have RCA outputs.
