I was updating my S21’s software today and now I’m stuck on the “do not turn off target” screen. The volume down and power button command restarts the phone but immediately after displaying the Samsung screen I’m right back at the blue screen. What are my options? Thanks
this "bootloop" happens because the phone is failing to boot into Android (due to any number of reasons) you can follow this video to get back to a working install of Android - th-cam.com/video/4SjiCbDRmU4/w-d-xo.html

explain what happens when it does? are you rebooting your phone in the morning? or is it rebooting on its own in the middle of the night? download mode should only come up if you're rebooting the phone AND holding down multiple buttons at the same time if you're seeing this happen at random then there's likely a hardware issue and you'll want to get it replaced. you could do a factory reset to try and troubleshoot any software related issue, but if you're still under warranty then that's likely the best solution let me know if this helped th-cam.com/channels/nowc_KHgjVNj3Y-E-oQ8aw.htmljoin

it sounds like you're in a bootloop. I would try booting into Recovery Mode and choosing the wipe data/factory reset option in an attempt to recover the Android OS back to a bootable state

Yes, had to use another method. Also phone will not access test screen also. Something seriously wrong with this phone. It's t-mobile and unlocked but only works with t-mobile. Verizon works only on wifi. When I turn off wifi or lose wifi connection I don't get network connection.

Will this work on a Verizon Samsung? The phones they sell (samsungs) are known for not liking custom roms, is this the same thing as a rom and will it work?
My volume down key is broken. I just downloaded an update that now when my phone boots up, it always has safe mode on. powering off and restarting doesn't work. I'm so upset with this. currently waiting for the phone to lose its battery life by leaving it on the download mode screen. pressing any of the three buttons doesn't do anything. Fuck the latest update edit: got it to reboot, but its still stuck in safe mode.

try installing the samsung smart switch program. it should install the needed drivers
