I went to my 20 year reunion and damn near every woman I knew in High school applauded my "Glow up". Its not taught to young men to be patient on their success. But. At 38 years old, I can confidently say I am the best I've ever been.
John, another "gem" as usual. I'm 54 and when asked some stupid question like "Don't you wish you were still in your 20's?" I answer with an emphatic "No Way!" I enjoy the compliments I receive everyday from all ages and both genders with my personal style, grooming and even my bald spot! I refuse to let anyone to define and/or defile me more so as I get older😊.

I just turned forty-nine on the 25th of June, so last week as of this post. One of the guys who owns a shop I deliver to occasionally was surprised to find that out. He thought I was about ten years younger than him. Turns out I’m three years OLDER! And that I couldn’t BELIEVE! Dude looks like he’s in his sixties! But I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs and though I don’t exercise, I’m active. Plus I’m a clown, I make people laugh. So that helps too!
At 55 I retired from NYC and found a new job in Florida. My wife and I are buying a new home and starting new jobs while our kids are still in college up north. Talk about embracing both fear and change.
Like your outlook! Very infectious and so true. Focus on the positive and see yourself as improving. No one needs to be stagnant .. be open, adaptable and do it.

I would like to see that video on haircare. I don't own a blow dryer. Maybe it's time. As far as wisdom as we age. I imagine that is part of it. With a fair mix of "been there, done that, seen that, not worth that". Another great topic and presentation John!
I'm much younger than John's usual demographic, but I can definitely say I feel like I've gotten better with age, in pretty much every conceivable way. I don't understand men who feel like they 'peaked' in college or whatever. I don't really see any reason anyone would get worse with age (except for the obvious health concerns, but if you take care of yourself well, you can minimize those).
John, thank you for your wisdom, at age 72, I have found that men I know either continue to grow, or the go backward, no one stays in the same place. I choose (and it is a choice!), to live my life in a growth mode, exploring, learning and continuing to expand. Thanks for your wisdom at your "young" age, have a great day, oh, and my picture is recent, its all about attitude!!
Great video John, as always. About the random act of kindness, forget coffee at Starbucks. The person behind you in line can afford it. The kid with a bill for lunch is the person to focus on. Call your local school and pay off a lunch bill, much more ‘paying forward’ than a latte!
