I love her! I saw her in 2019 on Miranda Lambert's tour in Milwaukee. Her voice is just "wow"!! So powerful. This performance I love watching. The orchestra is a bonus! Spot on vocals/music.

This live performance is better than the studio recording in my opinion. Why? Because her voice isn't over saturated with vocal effects.

@@danika5866 True, but Adele had the acceptable look of a "glamorous and elegant woman." Elle, on the other hand, is rough around the edges with tattoos and wild child attitude. That mixed w/her plus sized look, gets her an unfair back seat. I hate that we still put women into a box of what it means to be a "woman." Elle is fiercely unique and deserves an unending limelight of praise---for her talent, her artistry, and her amazing person.

First time I ever heard Elle King (I know!), and this killer tune. Like a number of other artists, I also find this live version on The Late Show a more appealing arrangement and performance than the rec. studio version. Still a killer tune on the album, but seems more retro-Motown here on Stephen's show, with a cool, eclectic mix of real instruments and musicians and less synth. Dammit, another artists I have to track now! :)
