Good review. From what I've read the lag is due to the AAC Bluetooth codec used in these headphones. It's a processor heavy codec which results in the lag.

Hi, is it that songs played via bluetooth also gets unsynced? Or its only videos played through computer
I'd like to know your opinion on the brainwavz replacement earpads I think you'll have headphones that those earpads can fit on. I have a pair of these earpads on my ath-40x but I'd like to see your perspective and I think it would be introduced to more people. Great work matt!
Hey Matt Did you make sure blue tooth is the same as your apple phone? This could cause lag also Mine doesnt lag at all
Can you use the mic while wired if you use a different cable ? For example the qc25 cable can be used on the qc35 as I understand.

Hey I don't know if you know this but do you know any good gpu systems for a MacBook Pro that would be good for gaming? I know you can't upgrade a graphics card for Mac so you must get a external one and do you know any?

2:40 I had this same problem on my new HP PC running Windows 10 with MANY different headphone brands. When watching TH-cam videos via bluetooth on PC everything lagged with the audio. I definitely think it's a Windows issue... not the headphones as the laggy audio happened with EVERY pair of BT headphones I tried. I gave up and ended up getting wired headphones for the PC. btw... every pair of BT headphones I tried that had laggy audio on PC worked perfectly fine on my MacBook Pro laptop. The headphones aren't laggy/faulty... it's MS somehow not being able to get the bluetooth audio on PC's to work properly. Ridiculous
Yeah it's very much possible with Microsoft breaking Windows 10 now and then.

I love your review! I wish you did a comparison with the soundlink and the QC35. I'm really on the fence wondering if the QC 35 is really worth the almost $100 extra.
QC 35 are only worth it if you travel alot.... especially on public transport but after switching from QC25 to these ... the major difference is noise cancelling which kinda helps up the bass but the overall experience is the same
Thanks!! I've already gotten the QC 35 and so far I do enjoy it. I wear them mostly at the gym which also made me consider to get a beats instead just bc of the cool look, but I think I'll stick to the Bose!

For country music these are pretty good but for rap or EDM they lack in bass even with an equalizer but that is just my opinion
That is the point of the headphones. They are designed to sound flat.

The soft ear cups that come with the headphones are absolute crap!!!
Bought mine brand new and within a few months the black material that covers the padding had ripped all the way around for no apparent reason, and the padding inside was rotted down to practically nothing!!!
Bose company wants a stupid high price to buy new earcups, but you can buy brand new ear cups from another manufacturer on Amazon for a hell of a lot less money!!!
it's true these headphones don't require additional batteries but the built-in batteries have their own problems. You can't replace them if you need to and they only charge up to 90% no matter how long I leave it on the charger!
The sound of these are adequate but I would surely never ever buy these again!!!

Furthermore the rubber around the edge of the headphones around where the buttons are on both sides has also come loose and I could not get it to stick back down so I had to cut it off!!!
I have headphones I bought brand new back in the 1970s that still work perfectly but they have a cord but the sound has not changed and the leather on the ear cups has never rotted away!

Sound is WAY TO SOFT! You cannot turn them up! We live in a Nanny state! These headphones don’t allow you to run up the music. Trash! Sending them back.
$280.00 headphones made of .02% metal and 99.5% plastic with some big name stereo speaker brand sticker attached to them.. I've had $25.00 ear buds that sounded better than these!! - Honestly, you're paying for the NAME and nothing more... Plastic headphones that aren't worth $100.00 - Had a pair and by the 2nd day, they went back - the bluetooth channel sound quality sucks as does the pairing app... Can we say CRAP!
