Was a manager for 5 years there until I found the job right for me, and I agree 1000%. The bosses where kickass, staff and customers where always a blast, food was always fresh and the reviews where plentiful. My store made to much for Day of Giving that my boss literally rewarded us with a paid trip to an amusement park! I tell ya, while I miss the environment, I'm low key glad to don't have to slap sandwiches together for a living
Totally blessed to live a block away from the original Jersey Mike's store in point pleasant, NJ. Besides building the perfect sub they do great things for the community.
my favorite is a slice of toast (untoasted bread works too), then mayo and salt, then fresh tomato slices. ill usually put a little more salt and crush red pepper on the tomatoes. favorite summer snack

(as an extra note, sorry if i’m over-sharing): i like to use chunky salt, the juice from the tomato definitely dissolves the chunks i put on the mayo by the time i put more on top of the slice. the extra crunch of the undissolved chunks is great!

I either make my own subs or go to a local convenience store that makes good subs. Its 12-14 bucks for my entire meal (sandwich, chip, and sometimes a drink) and there smalls are the slightly shorter than subshops but have better fillings and bread and are filled more. At Subway, Jersey Mikes, ect. My sandwich alone is 12-14 bucks.
I’m just impressed at how well the sandwich is made here as opposed to how it is irl. In any sandwich shop, no one spreads the ingredients out as well! Like I’ll get a bite of just lettuce and onions, all the meat in the middle, and cheese and Mayo to finish. I wish more sandwich shops cared about making a sandwich this well!
They do at real hometown mom and pop Italian delis, not fast food delis. Plus, real delis have real cold cuts, not ‘Subway’ “and a half” cold cuts. Lol
I don't go there anymore. I love the roast beef sub but they raised the prices and skimp out on the meat. You have to ask nicely to add more and they look at you like they are doing me a favor.

My restaurant has this as a full menu sandwich already, ham turkey rb is a great combo, top seller at my place. Not jersey mikes btw, family owned. I’m not a fan of franchised sub shops bc my family has a good one… but jersey mikes is the only other place I go, they got good $hit too 😅
There was a Jersey Mike's in my hometown several years ago that lasted about a year because they weren't very good. We have Sub Station II and they have the best cold subs around.

When I worked at Jersey mikes they had a 9 month pregnant woman lifting boxes, the assistant manager was on meth, and the manager was sleeping with the franchisee. Most disgusting environment and job I’ve ever had! Only time I’ve ever contacted OSHA as well.
