So you may have seen her in the background but eve is back on the channel guys and she hasn't started for months, lets hope she fires up, this little mini has always been a rock of the fleet always the dependable mini, she now needs some tlc hence her current state.

I'm getting a déjà vu from this video. My mini SPI (British Open edition with the sunroof) has been sitting from May 2013. Bought it in 2018 as my first car. Have done a lot of welding to it and got it running again. But it still needs some work to get it road worthy (Cones are flat as a pancake, lighting does weird, needs timing adjustment, needs new tires and brakes all round with brake fluid flush). But even with the ignition time totally of it fires straight up after months of sitting. Mine is also a good storage space but only for spare mini parts, no corsa parts for now.

It seemed to start ok and ran well. It always amazes me when they've been sat there for ages but crank up really easily. Another project to add to the list!! 😉🤣
Bert's retro rides yeah she has always been a great little car but it was still a risk to see if should fire up. She is next in line for sure aha
Over the weekend......Marc goes 😨😂. Great that Eve started up so quickly after sitting and that clutch repair was just a bloody flook 😂

No fight to get her started at all, and she sounded like she was running reallly well.
When a Mini is sitting for a while it seems to end up full of car parts (or at least mine does).
Good to get an update from the South HQ of Simpson's Classics.
She shocked us to be honest but she had always been a great little car and well maintained so think this had definitely helped for sure.

Keep an eye on the slave cylinder sometimes when they go stiff they can blow a seal
