    4:02-the abandoned Woodhaven Station that was a connection to the Woodhaven Junction Station upstairs on the Rockaway Beach Branch. And somewhere just beyond is where the tracks to connect from the Rockasway Beacy Branch to the Atlantic Branch were.

    Now if only Andy Byford (MTA's newest "Big Cheese") can get the subways to run with this kinda speed and smoothness (3:00 - 7:15)!!! I mean really...In this vid you got nice smooth welded rail with excellent alignment, securely mounted on half-ties in concrete roadbed. Even going thru the two crossovers (6:49 - 6:56) there was no bouncin' from side to side. And best of all: NO TIME CONTROL SIGNALS to slow the roll. Beautiful, I'm tellin' ya!!!!!!!

    Have looked at both videos (to and from Atlantic Terminal) over and over again. For me, just "habit-forming". Wonderful videos.

    I take it East New York station is not as important as it sounds if it only has two platforms and it's not worth stopping at!

    Love the movie but was a bit disappointed that entry into Atlantic Ave Terminal was cut short. I was hoping to see the track and platform configurations as I remember them from my time back in the 60's.

      I have a video showing the platforms of Brooklyn. This was before the crash and then after that, a new Special Instruction required Conductors to be at the head end while approaching stations with a bumper block at the end.

    Jamaica is the 3rd busiest commuter station in the country. i dont get why when they build new signal gantries they just put in a PRR style signal. why not put their own signal?

    • @MrMaster767
      @MrMaster767  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's not many position light signals left. Most of them at this point are temporary and that reduced aspect will be the replacement.

      @@letsgogiants98 You gotta be kidding. The train's operator can't be trusted to stop before hitting the block? Maybe they ought to have some "timed signals" to slow the train and stop it if the train operator fails to do so. What a joke.
