1929 Simon Commission & the 1951 Plebiscite are the foundation of the Nagas political history and the Nagas political issues. FNR is showing the right direction, because truth is truth.

Naga plebiscite day should not be observed by NPGs only but also all Naga civic society should observe. This is the greatest non violence democratic movement shown by Naga people. We should take it to the higher reach.

Yes the way our "Father of the Nation", AZ Phizo written statements to Govt. Of India and his Indian Counterpart were Magninimous and Miraculous. The way he constructed and framing of sentences took me by great surprise and shaken my little mind as well. For sure a God chosen leader and the wisdom was sure of God. The intellectual acumen and political wisdom of our Great leader and his way of conveying our stand points out as a testament to the guidance of God for it was the handiwork of God if you look into finer details of his statements was way way beyond the level of understanding of Nagas. Thank you Dr wati for pointing this fact for academic references.
But the statement which you began with That Phizo was ready to make concessions that which you've mentioned realism and idealism was debatable. In my limited understanding, Phizo when he said understanding each other position surely questions the Indian Govt. understanding of its own history and the urge of the suppressed people that of Naga people on the other side. Now when you say realistic, I believe Another 16 points agreement is taking a birth. Our people have lost all its integrity that subscribing to unchangeable historical facts has begun to be misunderstood as idealistic and unreal. That's where we lost our dignity and identity as a people. Gandhi made concessions that Britishers would realise that forceful occupation of India was wrong.

They should be the spearhead in letting people know this kind of knowledge (history) since many of our people are ignorant to this and doesnt even care so to say .. i know their is something called Nagaland book and people study about naga history but not as extensively as indian politi !!
