I love (and have) all Monolith's games! 3 reasons to back them: 1) great, yet simple to learn mechanics, 2) artistic design and production quality, 3) they deliver games (unlike many other developers on Kickstarter). Can't wait for Isfet!
You are right that is very nice and premium looking cardboard. I am super glad you mentioned it because it is the first thing that stood out to me. I am a cardboard enjoyer myself too. It is in fact the only reason I buy boardgames. I would love to see some cardboard reviews. Thanks in advance!
Hi there, i couldn’t help but notice your comment, and i agree with you completely. I actually have a community that enjoys card boards too, would you be interested in joining?
I am so excited about this one. I have gotten just core pledge both times and one expansion so have a ton of content but haven’t felt over saturated and love the look of a lot of these. The art and mini design looks great. Also the female characters look similar to ragnarok more warrior like and not as over sexualized as the Greek set. This is huge for me getting it played as my wife enjoys the system but really didn’t care for the way many of the Greek female characters looked.
Thanks! We try to keep the game appealing to everyone while not betraying the original myths or stories. She'll be happy to see the Stretch goals too, there's many badass females characters!
@@gillesplantin7350 you guys are doing an awesome job. Played Ragnarok again last night and just love this system. I’ll be backing Isfet for sure just always the hard choice of how much to get
I am excited for this, even though I already have so much Mythic Battles content!? A little disappointed that I had zero response from Monolith about a damaged miniature in my Destroyers box.
@@TheKingofAverage I should have backed Tanares instead XD I don't know what we can do about the situation but wait, I was hoping you might make a video on it's delays and whats going wrong internally. It's 2 years overdue as is and not looking like we'll get wave 1 of WA or SS for 2-3 years yet, if ever, at this rate we're definately not getting wave 2. As someone who backed just for the miniatures it's frustrating that monthly updates of a minor game fix from a months long playtest is all we get.
Have Pantheon and Ragnarok. Going to pass on this one. Least interesting theme of the three and I don't need more Mythic Battles with the two I already have. Great game/system though, if you are into the Egyptian theme, you should jump on this.
I backed Ragnarök mostly for the Conan crossover content. But I ended up liking the solo rules and enjoyed the game. Not sure I need more content, this campaign looks to have little to no solo support, but I may have to still get any Conan cross over content!! We shall see.
Depends on what I'm doing. I use gorilla glue for most resin repairs, however if I need it to forever stick I use JB Weld. That stuff bonds so hard it's stronger than the rest of the mini.
Hmm, need to debate this. Might just make a post about it? It's as good as the others. More or less just a continuation on it. There's nothing that really makes it stand out as vastly different. A pro or a con for some I imagine.
Absolutely do not need more mythic battles content. What happened to your primal unboxing? Can you get a review out of that game asap? It is so good and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
@@TheKingofAverage there are loads of primal unboxing out there now so if you’ve not already recorded it I’d advocate for getting some games in and getting a review out there instead. I’d love to hear your thoughts and get more coverage on the actually gameplay past the prologue fight which is all everyone else seems to show.

"Crocodile guy" is likely Sobek
I like the new maps, that are the main component adding variety. Would be nice if they offered them on neoprene.
Great vid. I'm not digging the minis though, hopefully they'll get better as the campaign gets going.
Yeah, looks like a different designer. They look to fantasy/Sci fi compared to Pantheon amd Ragnorok

I believe on one of their updates they said to contact the freight company for replacements. I think they posted and email address as well.
@tonymartinez3434 yes, I did that. No reply. I will revisit though. Thanks.
Ah bummer about the mini. How is it damaged?
@@TheKingofAverage Nidhogg has a wing missing.
Oh dang, completely missing?

Everyone that has too much of Mythic Battles raise the hand.
Same. Even one box is enough unless it's going to be a game you play each month. I'll have to get rid of my pantheon at some point...
Never enough! :P
Absolutely stunning art and minis. As always. But. For how long they will waste such great base as Ancient World Mythology to produce same product?
It's a trilogy
The curved sword is cool but they used other types too, i hope they appear so it don't get samey...
They are other types of swords in the game!
44:11 Lol broken piece. Excellent packaging for minis 😂
:D I've had far worse lol

Love the system! It's my wife's favorite theme so a win there
Being a big fan on mythologie and manage to get the previous stuff on retail, looking forward to it!

What glue do you use? I use Super Glue 3 - control, from Loctite, but curious if you have something better.

Gameplay review when?

Don’t own any. Got no interest in this one either but the boards look nice.
Any update on the fundraiser results?
Will finish my game room this weekend and announce a Livestream date next week. So sorry for the delay!
@@TheKingofAverage Must be exciting to get it ready! Enjoy it!
Some parts are more fun than others. Displaying all my collectable figures? Fun! Trying to fix all my broken minis? Not so much :D

Sadly it was delivered to the wrong address. But I should be able to do that final unboxing soon!
