right foot down then ball comes into your glove as your left foot plants to get the right timing for throwing foot work. just make sure your glove is down before the ball gets there
I’m not saying he’s wrong by any means because obviously he’s a professional. It’s just I’ve been told and see people always told to never wait on the ball but to attack it and get on top of it, especially if you’re a short stop
