The first games I remember getting really into were animal crossing wild world and harvest moon Island of Happiness on the DS. I loved those games and still do now ! I'm so thankful for this community of lovely people here 😊💕
As a female gamer, I finally started not giving a fuck about not being “experienced” enough to play. Your channel encouraged me that playing cute and adorable games are just as valid as first person shooter games.
@minmeena I hope you have given gaming a chance. You are playing for yourself, not for anyone else so I wouldn't worry about experience or lack of. Such a great way to relax.
The first time I got into gaming is when I first got my Nintendo ds lite and fell in love with it and so I’ve switched to mobile gaming which is still cool. But I never had a physical console in years . The Nintendo switch will be a huge upgrade. I’ve always loved gaming it’s so cool to me.
"Go Vacation" is great for new gamers! I loved to play it in local splitscreen with my kids on the Wii, it's like being on a huge adventurous vacation together. There is a switch port. Highly recommend this game for beginners!
Thanks for sharing your experiences and how you got into gaming! I started gaming at around 2 years old, my first console was an NES. I grew up with cousins and uncles that played video games, so it's always been a part of my life. I guess I can say I've always been spoiled with games/consoles lol, meaning I always had the newest systems growing up. During elementary I had SNES, Sega Genesis, and a Game Boy Color. In middle school I moved on to the N64, PS1, Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance and SP. High school the trend continued with Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, DS, and PSP. Then the Xbox 360 only for the 7th Gen. After that as I got older in my early 20's, I focused less on gaming and more on work and other things. Years later and I'm back into gaming full force. Nowadays my console collection consists of Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, Switch lite, Switch OLED, Xbox, 360, Series X, PS2, PS3, PS4 Pro, PS5, Game Boy Advance SP, 3DS XL, PSP, and PS Vita. I wish I had all my original consoles from back in the day, but I sold them a long time ago. Something I regret to this day 😔. Anyway sorry for the long comment😅. I hope all is well! The game that got me into gaming was definitely Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for the NES!
i actually bought my switch back in 2020 because of animal crossing (which I'm definitely not alone in haha) and I'm really grateful for it, because even tho i don't play acnh that much anymore, it has gotten me into gaming more than i was before (I've always enjoyed games like Minecraft and the sims on my PC but getting a switch has allowed me to discover so many more cool games)
My dad had a Sega with Mortal Kombat 2 and my cousin had a Gameboy with Pokémon Red but first games I owned were the Gameboy Pocket with Donkey Kong, the rest is history :P
I owned Nintendo DS, switched to PS4, and now thinking of buying a Switch. Your video helped me solidify my decision to buy the switch and i too love all the games you mentioned
Super Princess Peach was my first game I ever got back when I had Nintendo DS. The game that made me want to get a switch was Breath of the wild 🥰 I'm in my late twenties and I still love playing video games.
I just recently bought a Switch (and am pretty new to gaming). I started with Breath of the Wild but like you said, it was a bit overwhelming so I've put it aside for now. I played Ori and the Blind Forest instead and loooooved it! Now I'm playing Pokemon Arceus and loving that as well. When I feel confident enough in my gameplay I'll go back to BOTW. Thanks for this video and just your channel in general btw, your videos are very helpful and we seem to have a similar taste in games :)
for BOTW even experienced gamers can feel overwhelmed, so don't worry at all. I personally haven't finished it yet even though I had it since release in 2017. Just like me, I recommend taking it slow and just enjoy the world. Don't worry about actually completing anything because it leads you along. Once you're more familiar with it, then you can work on the quests and such. Good luck, and welcome to gaming~
I just love your videos! Always come to you for best cozy games! First game that got me into gaming was Mario on the Gameboy. Lol man I'm old. Or packman. Lol
I love your videos but I often find it hard to listen to your voice. Not because of the way you speak but because of your microphone. Maybe I'm alone with this then please ignore, but maybe others feel this way too. Have you tried an external microphone, e.g something on your desk or a small one on your collar? I think a lot of youtubers use an additional microphone to record their audio. Getting your voice clearer and louder would for sure make your videos even more enjoyable :)
Not a new gamer, but it’s been about 10 years since I’ve bought my last gaming console. I’m 21 almost 22 and I’m just getting back in the loop and following all the new nintendo directs and I’m so happy gaming is back in my life!!
My first handheld was a nintendo DS lite, I loved playing Pokémon even though I barely understood English. I remember being stuck in Pokémon Diamond for forever! After owning a switch for about 2,5 years Breath of the Wild really made the biggest impression on me. My boyfriend recently got into gaming and a game he really loves is Yoshi's Crafted World. It's not too hard and he really like the bright colours and the cute level designs.
My only problem with recommending Link's Awakening to new people is that it's a very 90s video game in design. This isn't inherently a bad thing, but if you've gamed at all before and it wasn't in the 90s/with 90s games, it might be a bit of a struggle. It's definitely a game that can be played incorrectly, so I'd look into that before purchasing it. Breath of the Wild has a much much better tutorial in my opinion, but some elements of the game may be a bit stressful for people who've never gamed before, like facing an entire camp of enemies on very few hearts, the fact that you actually use all the controller buttons for this game, or even the story which is a bit dark. (It's not too too dark most of the time but you come across random bits of lore that can get pretty dark and messed up imo.) My first games were Crash Bandicoot and Kingdom Hearts so it was fine for me, but it may not be the best for everyone. If you're into reasoning things out and puzzle-solving I think the Prof. Layton series and Ace Attorney series are quite good for new players too.
Super Mario bros. NES. Only been good times since ‘89 baby!!! I love watching your videos, you are absolutely gorgeous n I love the sound of your voice! You’re taste in gaming is great as well. Keep up the great videos n I’ll keep watchin!
The first video game that I remember totally obsessing over was the Muppet Treasure Island PC game in the late 90s 😆 I was probably about 4 or 5 years old and I had the best time playing it over and over again!
My very first console was the Gameboy Advance SP! It was the console that really got me into Nintendo. My cousin was outgrowing his Gameboy and gave it to me which I'm so grateful for. He also gave me some of his older games which included Kirby and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. I remember spending so much time playing those games especially since I was super introverted and quiet as a kid 😂I have a lot of fond memories with the Gameboy but unfortunately, I gave it away to a family friend since I already had the Nintendo DS. I'm kinda sad that I gave it away tbh haha
I just got my Nintendo switch 3 weeks ago. I bought Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Mario Deluxe, Mario Oddyssey, Donkey Tropical Freeze, Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. And so far that's it. Lol I'm all about that Mario life.. but will definitely venture into getting more. Just reliving the nostalgia a bit! I also started off with a gameboy SP!
Kat, I jus wanna say first of all is that , that you have asked a very good question. The games that got me into gaming is…. Harvest Moon games , Pokémon , Zelda A Link to the Past , Spider-Man fighting game and TMNT in Time. Also with Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons , also The Addams Family. Monster High , DBZ Fusions , Fantasy Life , Magician’s Quests , Donkey Kong , DB , and other games that I’m trying to remember at the moment. But all of those and Animal Crossing Wild World , but I’ve never really tried Animal Crossing on the GameCube. But I kinda tried one on the Wii , but that one was really hard for me cuz it wasn’t on the handled. It was all of those games , but if I do remember what the others are I will make another comment here.
Nintendo Switch Lite is my very first gaming console. The reason I bought it is I'm very interested to play Animal Crossing New Horizons. I have bought several games since then and I could say that game introduced me to gaming.
I recommend cozy grove if you like acnh. It has many similarities but some fun differences. It's mostly a daily scavenger hunt with many activities and things to collect.
I think breath of the wild is a good game for absolute beginners my Niece is 5 years old her first game was breath of the wild and she is a master on it.
Where did you get the game boy so grip that's cool? Also what is that munchlax statue in the background? I've been curious on what books you like to read, I thought that would be a good question to ask for a Q&A video, witch I thought I asked last Q&A video!?
Hi, just subscribed to you channel because I have a switch and I dont use it. I would like to get into the switch. I got Mario game but I got stuck in one game and I got mad Lol.
Hello. I am VERY new to the game world. I’ve played as a child, but I was a pre teen and teen in the 90’s so I was always out playing. Never in the house. But now with Covid I wanted to try something new. I’ve read all my books lol. I’m out of work right now bc I blew out my back. Now I’m even more bored. Help. I’m not good at games at all. Just so you know. I need video games for dummies edition. Thank you.

BOTW! That game is so beautiful and amazing. I’m actually replaying it at the moment.
The first games I remember getting really into were animal crossing wild world and harvest moon Island of Happiness on the DS. I loved those games and still do now ! I'm so thankful for this community of lovely people here 😊💕
Probably duck hunt haha
I've been gaming since a kid so it's hard to remember the first game I ever played but the first console I ever had was the NES.
Original Harvest Moon
As a female gamer, I finally started not giving a fuck about not being “experienced” enough to play. Your channel encouraged me that playing cute and adorable games are just as valid as first person shooter games.
a game is a game, not an exam to be prepared for. if you think a game looks intresting?, play it!. dont let nobody tell you otherwise.
I wanna get into gaming but I’ve been kinda hesitant bc I feel like I don’t have much experience or I won’t be as good so I hold off on it 😅
@minmeena I hope you have given gaming a chance. You are playing for yourself, not for anyone else so I wouldn't worry about experience or lack of. Such a great way to relax.
I mean who cares about validation . Although yeah fps games do take skill . Doesnt matter who cares , its whats fun to you
The first time I got into gaming is when I first got my Nintendo ds lite and fell in love with it and so I’ve switched to mobile gaming which is still cool. But I never had a physical console in years . The Nintendo switch will be a huge upgrade. I’ve always loved gaming it’s so cool to me.
Get the OLED Switch. It’s awesome.

Nice channel! My first game ever and my first game to beat was super mario bros on the gameboy color. Mario is still a fave for casual gaming.
Your opinion is highly valued- thank you.

Great video, Pokemon Red was my first game that I fell in love with. Zelda Minish Cap on GBA was my entry to LoZ
I loved all your recommendations so much, Zelda is defiantly one of my favourite series, and it would be awesome to see your Buyee haul! ^-^
The first video game that I remember totally obsessing over was the Muppet Treasure Island PC game in the late 90s 😆 I was probably about 4 or 5 years old and I had the best time playing it over and over again!

Harvest Moon games , Pokémon , Zelda A Link to the Past , Spider-Man fighting game and TMNT in Time.
Also with Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons , also The Addams Family.

I recently got the new switch for the tv and got star dew valley that you recommended ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Whenever you play Mario Party Superstars, is either 1 of the 3 Princess Characters your Main?
Hi, just subscribed to you channel because I have a switch and I dont use it. I would like to get into the switch. I got Mario game but I got stuck in one game and I got mad Lol.
I fell in love with the one piece limited edition ds xl but got bummed when i seen it comes with only japenese settings😔
I really wish we could get a Rhythm Heaven for the Switch! That game was so fun and easy
I nearly forgot about Rhythm Heaven! I loved it so much as a kid
Ironically I actually found Link’s Awakening to be more challenging for me than Breath of the Wild 😅
Sometimes I wish more games had the ability to go crouch and prone maybe first person mode, but devs are afraid of players and their bosses.
For me its (crash bandicoot, super mario and pokimon)
