The advantage of the Kicks is offered as EV Hybrid in all Trims. Yung mid variant ng Kicks ay php 1.32M at mas mura ng dihamak sa Yaris Cross HEV at pho 1.59M. I like them both. ❤
Reason to get Yaris Cross HEV:
-more fuel efficient
-full packed tech & safety features
-better backseat features
-panoramic roof
-Toyota (most reliable in terms of quality, maintenance and parts in PH)
Reason to get Kicks ePower:
-still one of the most fuel efficient cars today
-slightly bigger cargo space
-instantaneous torque & EV feels
-more powerful output
-good tech and safety features
other things to consider:
-looks. this depends on your taste
-overall size. Yaris Cross is bigger and looks bulky. Kicks is smaller and even looks smaller than it's real size.
-price. it's almost similar though.
thoughts:
I like the Kicks better in looks. I like a smaller car. Yaris Cross HEV is better overall since it was developed with the Kicks in mind.
If I have money to buy and choose one, my choice would be... Nissan Kicks ePower
Also important to compare is the driving experience. Kicks offers the same feeling as driving an EV - instant torque, one-pedal driving, crazy acceleration, silent driving. Yaris offers the same vibe as driving your typical ICE car - the sound of a revving engine, typical AT two pedal driving.

For the Kicks, it has Normal and EV mode too. It also has cruise control, and auto lights, auto on, off with follow me home and auto hazard light feature. Yaris Cross has front dashcam and rear seat Center arm rest
I do for Fuel consumption and PMS Maintenance so i suggest for Kicks and the power that gives to you in a Road and safety fixtures for Colission intelligent Breaking system and Forward Collision warning
Got my Yaris Cross HEV last Aug 31. When it comes to fuel economy, and safety features (adaptive cruise control, auto high-beam, blind spot monitor, etc..) I can say it offers value for money. As for driving experience it all comes to individual preference. Both cars have their own PROs, at the end of the day pataas pa din ang price ng fuel so either of these Hybrid Cars will help you save on fuel cost, and the privilege of being exempted on coding scheme

Kulang ata yung sa safety ng kicks sa table tally, Kicks VL has cruise control and the speed sensing auto lock-based sa test drive ko last week. Because they are two different kinds of Hybrids, the driving experience is different. It’s going to come down to preference, is it the driving + fuel efficiency or lush features + fuel efficiency, I think. Although-I am really in the process of getting my own kicks now because of the driving experience. 🤭

Nice comparo. Kicks has more HEV tech and power. Yaris Cross is bigger though.
Android auto works even without wire for Yaris Cross HEV. There's also tilt and telescopic adjustment steering wheel.

Very close. Toyota offers more creature comforts to try and counter the ePower system of Nissan Kicks. Hard choice tbh.

for me Yaris pangmatagalan kasi more parts and mas less maintenance compare sa kicks...if kicks electric engine failed it would cost to much to repair..unlike yaris part availbility is sufficient due to the related parts to other toyota model like rush, velos and vios g 1.5

Sino lamang sa fuel economy?
real world scenario. Kicks. Just got home from a drive. 64.1 km/l. but thats because im going downhill most of the time. and some kicks owner are getting higher effeciency than that. So depends on driving conditions and how you drive but in most if not all situation, Kicks is more fuel efficient, while being faster with better handling.

Hindi ata dapat ma compare dahil hybrid yun isa electric yun isa. Saka breakthrough sa sasakyan yun kicks dahil sya nauna.
Ok engine power and 360 view lang talo ang Yaris. Other than those two lampaso ang Kicks. Also durable and dependable ba ang Nissan? I doubt it. So Toyota Yaris Cross FTW!
Yaris has more creature comfort, and safety feature. But thats it. efficiency, handling, speed, torque, cargo space, and everything that has to do with driving, Nissan Kicks take it. Now once we started comparing the mid variant, the yaris falls off. Walang difference sa mid variant to the top variant just at 1.3M maliban sa 360 cam, leather seats, two tone color and fog lamps, but the whole system is the same. if you want a better looking veloz that has more feature then get the yaris cross. It has its own space in the market, basicaly its for those who already value toyota more.

Toyota Motor Philippines service is bad really bad. You will regret owning a Yaris Cross. Kung gusto mo ng kotse na puro porma pero wala naman ibubuga, get the Yaris Cross. Its under powered, engine breaks at low speed, noisy interior from doors and under the hood. Cheapo piano plastic interiors. The Nissan is the better car.. It has power, lots of power for it's engine. Hindi kamukha ng Yaris parang may asthma, hirap na hirap tumakbo
