thank you for this review. I like it! this G variant makes a lot more sense in terms of its features. I wish toyota could make interiors more premium for its price. but I would definitely get this over the V and GR-S. I want to see how this would compete with the GAC Emkoo Hybrid.
First, love your reviews. Second, Toyota eCVT is NOT a CVT at all. It uses an electric motor and a planetary gear system. There is no band like a real CVT.
Toyota Safety Sense not being available on base model is a shame. Look at Honda offering Honda Sensing across all 2024 models including base variants. Toyota still giving the bare minimum. Consumers deserve better.
Nice improvement for the G variant, namely Hybrid engine, leather steering wheel, LED headlamps, etc., for the Corolla Cross is the electronic parking brake, rear aircon vents, though the rear Corolla Cross badging is still the same sloppy design. Hopefully its horn is louder, but overall it is a nice car!
😅if you’ve been driving for some time now, you’d have the skills to get from A to B safely without ADAS. All this G really needs is adaptive cruise control for city driving, ADAS-wise, and that’s largely for convenience. Removing Safety Sense lets Toyota price this lower and that’s a more buyer-friendly approach versus Honda putting Sensing across the board then, blink once, and they are charging much higher prices.
Lahat ng CX and YX may push start button engine start, auto aircon, autofold mirrors, wireless apple car play, dash cam and my fav-electronic parking brake and autohold.
I don't like the fact that we are being pushed into this electric car. There should have been a version that's nonelectric. Hell make it more expensive no problem but don't just stop it and force us into this electric world. Ps. Making batteries and solar panels is more damaging to they earth then drilling for oil.
SoJooCars, I really enjoyed watching this, so I hit the like button!
Glad you enjoyed
Sulit for G hybrid. Nice review sir. Just hope toyota make the adaptive cruise control standard.
Fingers crossed!
Solid to G variant.
Complete airbags (big deal for me)
Good tech features (10" screen)
Basic amenities, but good ones (ex: dual climate control)

The rear aircon, leather wheel, front sensors and battery makes the additional price worth it.
But I still prefer the power of the old 1.8 ICE model.
You will also benefit from having no more Coding
This would actually be on top of my list if not because of the low torque, and I always wondered why Toyota can't make it atleast 200Nm.
Joo, this one or the Yaris Cross HEV? Need to decide soon
This na!
@@SoJooCars Ok ba if I get only the G variant since my budget is only 1.5M? Sulit na ba ang features compared sa Yaris Cross top of the line?
When you have a choice, always always get the Toyota.
is it released already? like do dealerships have units for sale already?
Ready for Sale!!
@@SoJooCars like we can buy one now?

Imagine how Toyota Cars were a few years ago before Chinese offerings came in.
if they added that, Yaris cross will not sell. Toyota is becoming an Apple company. I work in marketing/sales, decoy effect is the technique.
is the ground clearance the same as the outgoing model or less?

Expect 21-24\L
I can go 26-29km/L basta 60-70km/h lang speed on mostly flat roads
